Can't due that: Otherwise Schrodingers-Catgirl exists. As it stands, The Catgirl both exists and does not at the same time.

Too bad I don't have a picture handy of The Living Cactus.

What I do have handy are:

The Earthen Devil

and

The Enquirer

One of these days I really have to go back in and update my VV pages...though I dread having to fix all of the now-broken URLs to my old addresses...

Mezzosoprano: On opening night of the Paragon Opera production of Carmen, mayhem errupted when the Circle of Thorns attempted to abduct the mayor. Struck by a stray bolt of mystic force, the young understudy suddenly found her voice powerfully transformed.

Although she only held the cultists at bay for a few minutes, she bought enough time for the heroes of the city to arrive and thwart the scheme. She now patrols Paragon City as the Mezzosoprano.

Originally on Champion, Mezzosoprano was a Gravity/Sonic Controller known for "Mezing" her foes....

Don't tell me, let me guess...
His Arch-Nemesis is a Fire Blaster named Redenbacher?

Yeah. And people complain when humans eat animals. At least animals can fight back, plants can do nothing but watch in horror as they're systematically harvested and consumed.

My fave and prob right now my all-time fave concept char is my lvl 50 elec/regen scrapper Neowolf...The story goes as the tragic werewolf curse (the regen part)...

but with a CoH twist (of course), hes captured by Col. Burkholder (the crazy AV in the Hess TF I believe)...

and while in his were-wolf state Burkholder implants neurotransmitters which travel in and throughout his body giving him electrical impulses...

Neowolf is created...an electrical charged, super-speedster...woof!!!

Ah I like threads like this. I have more than a few off-the-wall concepts rattling around my brain.

*rummages*

Here -

I was playing around with the costume creator as many of us do. And I came up with a pretty cool "mecha" character. Very much a tank. Even wound up looking vaguely like a Gundam. Couldn't think of a decent character concept for it at first. Except I knew that it was totally robotic and no human was actually in the suit personally driving it. I thought at first to make it a classic "combat robot escapes from corporation" thing, but that's been done to death.

Then a couple of bits of info collided in my brain and gave me an idea. I rushed to log on and write up the new bio on the character and it all kinda... rushed out of me at once. I love it when that happens.

I present MACSS-01 - a "giant robot" (well about 9 feet tall qualifies, right? He's at the height slider max anyway.) designed and built by 5 genius teenagers. They take daily turns on a tele-presence rig piloting him around Paragon City righting crime and bashing evil!

A commenter on the CoH LJ noted:

"Virtue has Susie-Bot, but that's teleoperated by only one precocious genius. You've also got the classic sentai team dynamic, and a little bit of Code Lyoko... it works well together."

Here's one I did just for the sheer "Mess with people's heads" aspect.

This one... Ah... well...

Let's just face it, I'm going to HELL for this one.

A better picture of Sleep, complete with the Faceless and the Red Lady.

Talking about myself on the internet? Don't mind if I do!

This here is Antares Belmoth
VirtueVerse

The character concept was a chunky faceless demon with no arms or legs that talks awesomely. The power concept was two words: "slow melt", and I gave him earth/fire. He's a dom and I made and loved him before they got buffs, and he's only ever-more fitting his arrogant "I'm th'strongest there is" attitude after the buffs.

His talking is a slapdash of bastardised cockney + Orkspeak + a couple words lifted from the vernacular of The Dark Tower. I love playing him because he hates everything except hitting people, burning people, and taking things. Couple this with the fact that it's really fun to type-talk like he does, at least as far as I'm concerned. It does make it a little difficult to actually RP with him as there's no reason he would be caught dead or alive in Pocket D unless there was something to incinerate/crush and/or steal there, so he's a "while on a team/local"-only character.

He's also only one of two "male" characters I have (though he's technically not really male per se, even with the gender pronoun use), so that's something.

As long as you're gone, I can't apologise for all the things that I haven't said and done.

Dopplegang. I love it.

HYBRID Z:
That's a great costume for the Peacemaker.

Atlantea:
I've loved the MACSS concept since the first time I saw it. Awesome.

To me, the most disturbing thing about "Burning Sensation" is that you had to put a period on it. Because there's already ANOTHER one out there, somewhere.

But why do people insist on saying that Dr. Stephen Fayte is some kind of hero? He's just a gifted surgeon, and nothing more.

Cazelfax:
That's some great mixing of costume bits. Looks random, but actually all fits together. Glad you enjoy playing him.

My new favorite concept character is admittedly not original in the least. Over the weekend I decided that I wanted to make an homage to Mega Man as they were/are my favorite 8 bit games and Capcom never made a decent 3D one... I'm sure they will eventually and would love to have them do it in the same vein of the new Metroid games... hmmm... after I'm done I need to write a letter to Capcom. Anyway...

No pic to post but I was very thrilled that the costume creator let me design him almost exactly like the original costume.

Mega Guy X is now lvl 21 (energy/energy blaster of course) and may very well be my next toon to 50... the only issue I'm having now... I have no idea what to do with his remaining costume slots as Mega Man's look never had any significant changes lol. I made a more modern looking one but I don't really like it.

Usually playing one of the following toons blueside on Virtue:
Cadler 50 WP/SS tanker
Radubadu 46 Fire/Fire blaster
Hell Runner 35 Fire/Fire brute

Pardon the noobyness, but how do you get a screen like that, can't seem to get the info box to pop up in them...

You pay to play. Having fun is ok. Kill Skuls or kill Crey. Hunt at night or in the day. Black or white or shades of grey. Play it your way. We have no say.

In Capcom VS Street Fighter, one of MM's supers was to turn into this huge Gundam-esque version of himself and uncork a million missles. Might be a fun costume right before you Nova.

Or-- I have no idea if MM ever did this, but it's an old anime/video game standard-- an all-gold powered up version of your normal costume. Save it just for when you level up, and only wear it for as long as the buffs last.
