The January 2010 FArt Battle
Your welcome Juggertha.
I hear what your saying too... it's much easier to spot that kind of stuff in other peoples work and miss it your own,
sometimes I go right past something like that in roughs and don't notice until it's too late (if I am drawing with a pen).
...and Thankyou, I try.
>.>...... <.<....
OK, maybe its CLOSE.... but we all know I don't love anything better than Swanzy's accent! |
**Clears throat** Ahem, Eddy's accent is better. Wassy said so.
Ok we're safe... I think they bought it.

What the heck would be wrong with a Rocky Horror Heroes challenge?

Well...if that's the direction than I take by my "oh no..."
...PAtion!
*hopes that isn't going to be an actual theme*
Wasn't there mention made of a pass that we could use on a month where we didn't want to submit something?
Spoil sport!!
And as long as it was Rocky Horror Picture Show in general you would have a lot of "safe" outs to do if you didn't want to do men in lingerie...
Eddie (Meatloaf)
Columbia
Riff Raff
Magenta
Brad and Janet (before shots...)
The Transylvanians were just little people in tuxes...
Dr. Scott
Actually most of the movie, for most of the time, has next to no men in corsettes or the like...
Well I'll have to take your word on that as I have never seen it all the way through (nor do I particularly care to) but I suppose worst case scenario I could come up with something for Meatloaf... he did put out some good music anyway.
Could say the same thing about... say Firefly or really anything else for that matter.
Even a lame show could be fun with the right people.
Dance of the Nightshade
I could polish a bit more, but I think I am done with it at least for a few days. I worked on it all week, and after staying up all night, I'm tired of working on it.
Oh, before CR points out (), when she spins, the 6th sequence is holding her left arm up, but it was supposed to be her right arm. I kept it because I liked the pose, and thought making that her right arm and adding another arm would detract from the motion.

That is strikingly beautiful, LD.
>.>.....
You know, I routinely watch Rocky Horror, Firefly, and MST3K regardless of if there are people around or not, because I find them all DECIDEDLY NOT LAME!!!
And that's a GORGEOUS entry, LD!
*glams up and puts on gallons of lipstick* ....pation!
EDIT: Darn you, U-Naught! |
side-track one: I love and own a copy of Rocky Horror (I don't love every moment of it, but overall i enjoy it) as well as Firefly (every fricking fracking second of it). but disliked every second of Mystery Science Theatre anydate. different strokes, different folkes.
On track: Lousy_Day, that's beautiful. (i don't have words)
Wow, LD. That's...I'm just...wow.
CR, I appreciate the comments. I think to some they may sound a bit harsh/nitpicky, but for anyone who has read your comments over a period of time, it's easy to see that you have a very balanced nature.
Most of the stuff you've pointed out has already been noted to me. Many of them were /smackshead kind of instances. It's funny how when you draw something out in roughs, it's so easy to just roll with it and not catch it until it's too late.
Either way, thanks for taking the time to write all that out. It's appreciated.
