Just outside of Austin, TX. Snow is a myth here.

Here in the northwest it's been snowing earlier and more heavily than I've witnessed in quite a few years. Rather picturesque, and I finally have an excuse to wear my Ushanka hat. ^_^
Vancouver BC Canada. We had snow on the ground for a day but it's been washed away and it is very mild out there right now. Frustrating.
Orlando, FL. Only white powder here comes from the supermarket (or, I suppose, dealers in Miami. )

Yes, you snowbound types have my sympathy. I was born in Nebraska, and spent a year in Salt Lake City.
But this is San Diego. 88 degrees in December is just ugly.
We have snow here in Illinois but it's already melting away again.
Frankly, I'm glad it's been barely snowing here in Tacoma this year. Last year we had enough snow for three years. It was the friggin' Snowpocalypse.
No snow in Seattle either--just lots of rain as usual. It was especially cold a few weeks ago though. Rain is a good I think. It moderates the temperature. Cools things down, warms things up.

The Denver Metropolitan area is mysteriously devoid of snow right now.
No snow here in Seattl... hey, wait a second. Why are half the people replying to this thread from the Seattle/Tacoma area?
It pretended to snow last Sunday for an hour or so. Nothing that actually stuck. We had two weeks where it was so cold that it couldn't snow, then it warmed up and snowed for an hour or three until it was warm enough to turn into rain. Now it's back to our usual weather... wet, mostly cold, but rarely freezing.

Our snow in western South Dakota never lasts longer on the ground than a week, tops.
