Badges

  • The progress bar on the Firefighter and Fire Chief badges only track the number of Hellions defeated.
Masterminds
  • Mastermind pets occasionally exhibit odd behavior when going through doors and elevators.
Missions
  • The "Crown of Glory" story arc does not reward an XP bonus on completion.
  • Arrest all gang members, look for clues from Lorenzo Di Costa the patrol dialogue results in text displaying as "Patroller1_searching_dialog" and "Patroller2_searching_dialog"
  • Unable to complete mission - After accepting Mission 4 for the storyarc "Midnight Draws Near" at level 20 if you level to 23 you will not be able to complete the follow up mission.
  • In the Katie Hannon Task Force, Katie may stop following her rescuers.
Mission Architect
  • Earth Assault is not among the powers selectable in Mission Architect. Players can leave Architect missions with collection bars still on their screen.
Powers
  • Rest is no longer automatically put in your action bar when leveling to 2.
Powers Customization
  • Stone Armor: Rock/Brimstone Armor are not scaled correctly for the Huge body.
  • Spines: Monstrous Legs: Spines do not display correctly on legs.
  • Sonic Dispersion VFX do not animate correctly with the Dark theme
Ticket Vendor
  • The Ticket Vendor does not sell various Dual Origin Enhancements.
UI
  • After doing /bindsave then /bindsave and hitting F7, the text displays as "Ready!".
  • If you use the enter key to make a line break, the UI thinks you are putting in a html tag and gives you an error.
  • Text/UI: Editing a Description field that have over 100 characters allowed, the text will overflow out of the textbox if you use a word that is longer that 100 characters.
  • Cursors sometimes don't show up in I16 with NVidia graphics cards. It is thought to happen when players start their computer in dual monitor mode with certain NVIDIA drivers. If you restart your computer in single monitor mode, you should even be able to turn on dual-monitor mode and still have the cursor show up in game. However, this also means that if your cursor isn't showing up, you need to set it to single monitor and then restart in order for the cursor to show up.
Zones
  • Pocket D - Pets fall through the floor in the Tiki Room.
  • Pocket D - Tiki Lounge Bartender's speech bubble appears below avatar.

Task Forces

  • All Task Forces will spawn at -1 when started by a max-level character.
  • Task Forces are not affected by the 4XP difficulty system. This is intentional, and is to prevent exploitation of the system to easily obtain the "Master of" line of SF/TF badges. This will be re-enabled when the tech to have the Master badges check spawn level is coded into the game.

Strike Forces
  • All Strike Forces will spawn at -1 when started by a max-level character.
  • Strike Forces are not affected by the SRSLY difficulty system. This is intentional, and is to prevent exploitation of the system to easily obtain the "Master of" line of SF/TF badges. This will be re-enabled when the tech to have the Master badges check spawn level is coded into the game.

And also...
  • Team window does not always show the correct names and zones of teammates in other zones.

Interestingly enough, this bug also affects Trick or Treat door spawns for lvl 50 characters.

Not mentioned here, but still a bug. Users of certain ATI graphics cards will find that their mouse cursor must be above and to the left of the Enhancement to grab it in either the Respec screen or Slot Enhancement screen.

The various ATI related bugs have never be placed into the known issue list.

A word longer than 100 characters? In a MMOG? I wouldn't even expect a word that long at a Mensa meeting. Not that I've ever been to a Mensa meeting...

Add another powers issue, many PBAOE heal powers are now rooting the toon during the animation occationally. I bugged this the other day, and posted something about it, but I guess its still in the bug pipeline. I'm seeing it on my Pain Dom mastermind, but several other controllers, corruptors, and defenders have seen it with other powersets with a PBAOE heal. Its kinda disruptive to playing since we're used to being able to move then.

Considering that a word invented to be the longest English word, Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, is only 45 characters, you won't see such words even at Mensa.

However, we do have a German-language server and German players, and with the way German words are constructed (as I understand it, for complicated, new, and/or complex especially technological nouns, the proper German name for an object might simply be a literal description of it all strung together as a single word) a 100-character word might be possible.

Or it's just some one going "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" with far too many 'o's.

Are the TFs really all spawning at -1? This is making them even less appealing, We need our max diff options back

Fixed/Explained. The devs usually mention when an known issue is "intended" like this one is.

Non of the above really matter if you can't play the game... any chance you can address the stability issues first?? Memory leakage or whatever it's called. I can't play for 15 minutes without it crashing my system ! This is on 2 different Pc's over 4 different accounts, so that rules out the issue being local.

It should have said "...the text will overflow out of the textbox if you use a word that takes the text over the 100 character limit"
(i.e., if at 98 length, you add a 3 letter or longer word.)

While this is not a very widely encountered issue, it is indeed 100+ character-long words that cause issues in description fields that allow more than 100 characters. Don't dwell on this too long, you're not likely to start using such words...or are you?

As for the issue with mobs spawning at -1 level, this should be fixed in the next build that's currently on the Training Room.

The ATI cursor issue is being investigated.

asdfgawerghasdghasdfujasdfhjasdfhj is a ~25 character "word" and seems to be the kind of 100+ character word they are referring to. If a text box has a 100 character limit, it simply stops you at 100 characters.

There's thousands of PCs over thousands of different accounts that aren't crashing. So, your 2 computers don't "rule out" anything. While there may be some memory leaks, they only affect stability after your memory consumption goes over 1.5GB, which just doesn't happen after 15 minutes. Much as you'll hate to hear it, it does sound like a local issue.

Are the computers in the same house/using the same router/using the same ISP? In that case the problem may be a network error/ISP issue. If you open a support ticket, they'll give you directions to a tool called GameAdvisor which they can use to diagnose the problem.

When you connect to the game (or to any website on the Internet), the data transferred doesn't go directly from their servers to yours. There's no physical cable directly from NCsoft to your computer. The data has to "hop" through a bunch of physical locations before it can reach you. All it takes is one of those locations having a routing issue or being slow for your gaming experience to be miserable. It's perfectly possible to be able to visit most websites and play some games just fine, and to have constant timeouts in other websites and crash constantly in other games. The route is different for every site you connect to, and all it takes is a faulty router somewhere to screw everything up. NCsoft can't do anything if the connectivity problem is outside their servers.

You may also want to visit the Technical Issues and Bugs forum and post your HiJackThis! logs, for both computers. There may be some driver incompatibility or other software issue, and yes, this can happen in the two computers, especially if they're networked. Contrary to what most antivirus companies will tell you, they can't detect all the malware out there, and as soon as it's in one computer in your network, it'll spread to them all very easily.

Holds don't seem to play the hold animation any more (and for a little while now). When my toons hold mobs now the mobs just "play" the "stunned" animation. Surprised this doesn't feature as a known issue as it used to work fine?
