Given that he's a time traveller, that means being out of date everywhen.

Ah, but while all Time Lords are Gallifreyan, not all Gallifreyans are Time Lords!

Well, it's not a movie or tv series by any means and it does help if you're a serious Whovian but there is this FANTASTIC comic strip!

The Ten Doctors!

Be warned, it lasts forever and is about 250 pages long, but it marvellously epic!

And more importantly, it's MUCH preferable to the one-sparkle-away-from-being-a-Twilight-vampire alternative.

Read The Last Question by Issac Asimov (short story). Heat Death is all about increasing entropy.

I totally think she counts as a Time Lord. The Doctor is both of her parents, right? So she's gotta be his same race

Why they starting with that.... why not start from the start? They skipped 12 full story lines!

I been attempting to catch up a bit with the old stuff on youtube. Last I watched was mid the Daleks's arc (funny to see them so inferior there, needing metal floors to move among other things.)

Anyways, tomorrow my packing starts, TV and computer desk are going away on their merry trip to Baltimore where I'll reunite with them in 2 weeks (sleeping in the floor until then should prove fun.) I don't think I'll be able to do any more catching up until I get there.

A lot of the early episodes have been lost, they're lucky if they can find the audio tracks.

Oh my word. You're talking about Tom Baker, the quirkiest of the bunch.

Yes but the first two arcs do are available. There is no reason for them to start all the way there.

I thought they had audio for all the episodes.

Yeah, all the episodes exist in audio format, and I think between Unearthly Child and Web Planet there's only a couple of missing stories. So no, I cant offer a reason why they'd start so late in the run (and start on such a crappy story, too). Ah well - at least it's free and legal.

Just realized that is Microsoft's UK site.

"We're sorry, this video cannot be played from your current location."

I guess I'll have to sooner or later setup some proxi stuff to be able to watch foreign stuff, but for now, youtube it is.

November 9th on DVD and Blu-Ray in the US (it's already available for download from iTunes and Amazon).
