Things you couldn't do before I-16
Yes, whomever decided on the details of super sidekicking, and getting it into our hot hands is a Genius.
Did you notice we can color our powers?!?
I wasn't going to at first since darkness already fit my main character conceptually wise but I just had to make at least one costume with the blood-colored dark red. Its so awesome looking XD

I didn't really get excited about SSK when I heard it announced. However, nearly each day I play I find another situation where SSK made some thing possible, that was impossible previously.
I made a Katana/Dark scrapper, and coloured the dark armour blue. Now she looks like she's using some sort of ethereal water to protect herself, quite fitting since she's a ship's spirit!
Power customizing opens up so many doors for cool concepts it's not even funny anymore!

I love I16 for allowing me to turn off the graphics for my 'natural' concept ninja blade/WP stalker. Now he really IS just a regular guy with a sword, whoohoo!
Also for letting me spawn my ar/dev's missions for 3 players.
Soloing him on Tenacious was tedious, soloing him any higher wasn't really feasible...now his missions are challenging enough to keep me engaged without every spawn being an epic life or death struggle cosuming half a tray of inspirations.
Great issue.

I agree with this...

-.-
I love SSK as well. What I don't love is debating with people who don't understand how it works. I've had this happen a few times since I-16. Usually they'll ask about it and I'll lay down the 411 and they promptly follow up with a "that sounds stupid".

Words I haven't heard since i16 went live: 'Oops, I guess it was an old mission'

I unlocked Viridian, solo. I would NEVER have gotten around to killing 200 Paragon Protectors on my own. Never. I tried hunting them in The Fab once and I just sort of blacked out from the epic hategasm it gave me.
But, running through Operative Grillo's "Escaped!" arc in Ouro, set for 8, I managed to get the badge in two runs. Now, I finally get to see what all the fuss is about, after 4 years of waiting!
(2 missions in, so far, I like it)
Paragon Unleashed, Unleash Yourself!
while i got archmage on one hero, i got it through illusionist farming that made me hate the universe, the fact that its easier now is a cause for joy, both conceptually and realistically.
I am now a very discrete regenerator - apart from that totally dumb chest thumping animation for Integration

Having Martial Artists that can actually throw punches and kicks instead of being all kicks based from the start (instead of buying boxing and air sup to simulate this).
Before I-16 I couldn't play the violin. Now... well... I still can't play the violin, but I've been wanting to play an electric/ice tanker and now I can.
Shut up, I like it.

They all laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian.
But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

I put out a broadcast "Need help with Ghost Widow EB, level 48"
I got a response from a 50 Stone brute. Upon joining the team he asked "...Do I have to be skd?"
I tried to tell him about SSK, and he responded "...That's pretty lame."
I just thought this was kind of fun. I logged into a level 1 MasterMind this morning who was still sitting in Breakout. I summoned my ninja and went about my business breaking out of the Zig. I talked to Kalinda and ran all of her missions. I killed in the street along the way and hit level 6. I talked to Mongoose. I ran all of his missions. During one of them, when I was level 7, I went ahead and summoned my 2nd ninja so that I'd have two.
I finished all of Mongoose's missions, hit level 8, left Mercy Island, talked to the trainer outside the arena and then logged.
In all that time, the ninja I'd summoned in the tutorial had followed me everywhere. He never died, I never had to re-summon him.
Pre-I16 I would have had to summon him dozens of times, and I might not have had him following me while I ran from one mission to the next.
Also, last night I joined a level 10 team. I was level 8. I hit 9, and 10, and 11... and we were still a level 10 team. The leader wanted to run all content on one character as he leveled up, so he had exp turned off. I actually got all the way to level 17 on the same team, running level 10 content. ^_^
The team was very stable -- people left when they were ready to log out, not because they were the wrong level. I imagine that pre-I16, someone who wanted to run level 10 missions for several hours without gaining experience would have had a huge headache on their hands keeping the team filled and balanced with sidekicks and whatever.
