I'd master the Mission Architect until the Law of Diminishing Returns kicked in, and then I'd complete the other games I've dropped. This would probably take a couple more months.

I'd still play this game.

I'd probably take a break as I'm starting to get a little burnt out. But i16 has me excited again.

I'd move to Champions.

I'd play here until TOR comes out. Then I'd decide if I want to move over there, stay here, or play both.

This is, unsurprisingly, exactly the same thing I'd do even with updates.

There's a level 20-something undead warrior sitting in the Barrens waiting for me to get bored with City...

Well, this is how I feel.

There is stagnation. There are things in the game that nobody is willing to endure, like a majority of the TFs. THe fact I can color my powers in i16 is not an incredibly strong selling point. It's good that other people are very excited for it, though.

Going Rogue is being so tightly kept secret and the uninformative press releases(or should I say "press reiterations") annoy me a little, making me feel like the expansion is either still in pre-production hell, or may not be as exciting as the CG movie and meager hype make it to be.

I liked the CoH game, but a combination of small content and population factors make it seem hard to get online.

Better hurry. In a year or so, it won't be the Barrens anymore.

If I can't get a team anymore, I'd regretfully hang up the goggles and wait for either Star Trek Online or DCUO.

Keep going for ultimate power and the closest thing this game has to a god toon and that is my Ill/Rad. While my PA was 5 seconds from perma I was soloing AVs such as Ghost widow and Neuron.

I just got the rest of my money and finished my build which has perma Phantom army, Hasten and Accelerated Metabolism. Now it's time for GMs and I plan to solo them all. I think it will last me till going rogue but if that didn't come it would still keep me around for a while longer.

I'd keep farming

I think it has more to do with the marketing thinking that Power Customization is enough hype on its own that Going Rogue information wouldn't help their PR any. Also, based on the updater, I have a very strong suspicion that we'll be getting some juicy info on Going Rogue at Hero Con, since by then the competition's PR/honeymoon phase will be ending, so coming out with your ace in the hole then would be perfect to deal a serious wound to them.

"Meager hype"? Did you see the thread that came out the night that teaser ad got "accidentally" released? The thread blew up in two hours moreso than the CO thread.

IF CoX never updates again, I'll be here unless DCUO captures my daughter's attention more than CoX, or unless TOR blows me outta the water. But I think it'll come down to CoX or DCUO because my daughter likes playing superheroes.

Ditto. I don't stay subscribed to this game for the updates or expansions, I stick around because I love the game, the friends I've made here and my characters. I'll be playing this game, or at least paying for it and hanging out on the forums, for a long, long time. I am, however, quite keen on SW:tOR and have every intention of immersing myself in that at least as thoroughly as I have in Co*. I might end up playing that more, I might end up hating it and playing it less, but I'll always be here.

Issue 16 is of slight importance, but I can tell you for sure that if Going Rogue wasn't en route, I'd give the game an indefinite rest. I'm bored with it, some people get excited about purpling out characters or collecting 50s, I'm not one of them, I don't give a crap about either of those. Since GR is coming, I'm sticking around, though not playing much.

Fixed that for you. I love doing TF's and I see tons of them being organized on global channels.

I'd finally be able to finish oblivion, mayeb finally get dosbox up and runing and try arena and daggerfall, bethesda gave them both away for their tes anniversaries, and i have them on my hd, but havent gotten around to it. Most likely i'd play champions. maybe id finally finish Aquaria(2d indie metroid/ecco hybrid, AMAZING game), its an amazing game and have been kind of slacking on finishing it.

That's your experience.

Editing my quote accomplishes nothing. I've made compromises, offered to do posi TF even. 2 years ago there were people running TFs regularly and you didn't need close-knit, exclusive channels to organize them. that's not the case anymore.

I'm waiting for the Mechwarrior reboot. Nothing done here will change that.

Be well, people of CoH.

RF2009/RadioFreedom/RadioFreedomServer (hardly exclusive, unless you count 'the channel is overflowing with members' as being 'exclusive') run Task/Strike Forces all the time. Trying to form TFs via /b or /sea are generally the worst methods to go about it... if you simply refuse to join one of the many globals for your server, that's not the game's problem. And posi tf is a compromise? It's one of the least liked TFs in the game, I'm not sure how that'd be a compromise!
