If that happens then all the construction workers will run out of a job which means less money for you and me. I cannot go without a full coffer in my hands.

Villains get 100s of Henchmen for our use & disposal!

Heroes get 1 annoying sidekick, which then we make in the closet jokes about the 2, constantly....

A thought just occurred to me, in Paragon City you can see civilians getting mugged in the streets in broad daylight, sacrificed to CoT rituals outdoors and attempts at being harvested for vahzilok body parts. All out in the open and most of the time in broad daylight.

In the Isles, I've never seen a single mugging, vahzilok harvest or CoT sacrifice being performed outdoors in broad daylight. Civilains in the Isles are safer than Civilains in Paragon.

Ironic that the City of Villains is a safer place for civilains than the City Of Heroes.

Vahzilok do lurk around the tailor in Cap. Fitting though since the Facemaker works out of the place.

Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.

good luck D.B.B.

Oh... you mean where I had to make sure my own spring attempt succeeded by rescuing Operative Jenkins and planting the bomb to destroy the radar myself. Yeah.

Seriously, with that half-***** effort, I could have done it all by myself without their intervention.

Heck, I remember having to save Jenkins from the Zig no less than three times. Once when I got out of there the first time, once when I had to go back to get a couple other Destined Ones out (who are never seen again afterward. Guess they didn't make it out of the Snake pits) and finally when I had to go back in time and make sure to set up my own escape by freeing Jenkins from Longbow, so he could get captured by DIFFERENT Longbow in the Radar tower I was about to save him from the first time.

The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?

A: You crash into another one.

As I level up my heroes and villains to 50 in the final arcs I like to do I ponder:

"How does this lightweight (Recluse) control all these super powered beings?"

"Why does this lightweight (Statesman) command so much attention and respect?"

I whoop up on one and I have to rescue the other.

But then it comes to me. I am #1 not them.

total kick to the gut

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

And we help Statesman, while Villains serve Recluse

I already pointed out that we don't. You repeating it over and over again doesn't make it so.

Oh, and Statesman? Yeah, I beat him too.

We let him keep the isles because they suck and nobody else wants them. (Well, that and I like his speach in Grandville). And no, I dont run errands for him. Nothing I have done since my repeated trouncing of daddy longlegs has been consistant with running errands for Recluse.

Doesn't Statesman get captured daily by Tyrant?

I think he must want to be captured.
Hardly surprising, spending most of his time standing on a boat in a bland, crime-ridden city surrounded by hideous, ineffectual forcefields. All the while ordering around his incompetent, gullible pet heroes. Stroking their egos and convincing them they have free will.

I bet he yearns for each and every day Emperor Cole comes-a-callin'.

My spandex-clad Villain is quite happy to wear tights. It's just so much more gratifying to feel the smacking of Heroes and is easily washed. And while it appears we serve Lord Recluse, you should remember that he allows us Villains pretty much free reign to do whatever we want. Sure, he may not be perfect, but compare him to the righteous, self-absorbed "leader" you guys call Statesman. Plus, he has Ghost Widow and Mako. Statesman has Backstreet Brawler and...Positron.

To help others, first you must be able to help yourself.

I've never run a mission for Recluse. Ever.
