Waiting for I16 to launch..

I'm hoping tomorrow is the day. But I'll settle for next week when I'm only working the weekend.
I'm guessing end of September, right around the time players are working out if they want to sub to ChampO or not following the first 30 days.

Well, considering how many folks seem to be asking for refunds from CO, now would be a good time to appeal to some new players before they spend that refund money.
Come on Tuesday! Give us Issue 16!

Actually, I'm bringing down the servers and pushing the build to the patcher right now. It'll be back up in a couple hours and you can all start pickin' and a choosin' and a whinin'!

But I don't think it's I16. Maybe Thursday. Or the following Tuesday is very likely.

Well, with Monday being an American holiday, maintenance wasn't all that long. I'm still gonna hope for later today, just in case.

I didn't figure they'd release it on a holiday, but I'm hoping it's today. Supposedly they have a history of releasing stuff on Tues & Thurs.

I'm actually in no hurry for I16 to go live.
Let me explain.
I play on a laptop, the day I16 goes live is the day my graphics card melts into a puddle on my table. I'm excited about all the stuff I can play around with......but not so excited about the potential of imminent computer death.

Anyone else so excited about what you wanna make after I16 that you don't really have anything else that interests you enough to play until then? I'm itching to make my Inv/Elec tanker w/ purple lightning. Got my build, costume, and name already set up!
I'm just logging in to make as much influence as possible as many others are, except I don't have tons of 50s and the ability to rake in over a billion, but if I can amass 20 million or so by I16 (I have 8) I'll be happy enough
I'm thinking i'll finally have use for all those extra free costume change tokens i have. Over 30 on some of my older toons.

If we don't see it by tomorrow (Wednesday), then it'll probably be next week or even later.
New Issue release days:
Monday - once (Issue 15), twice if you count City of Villains
Tuesday - 8 times (Issues 1, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13)
Wednesday - 4 times (Issues 4, 5, 11, 14)
Thursday - twice (Issue 2, 6)
Friday-Sunday - 0 times

Yum. Electric Scrappers. I already have an Elec/WP Brute, so I think I'm gonna do Elec/SR.
I wonder if that will rule or not? I think it will, eventually.
