Waiting for I16 to launch..

Thats weird, I never noticed any stability problems at all that weekend. Sigh, think we have enough Level 50 newbies as it is lol. I just want I16 to come out already. My excitement has already hit its peak and its starting to wane. Hope it comes out before I lose interest. I need something shiny and new, and fast. :P

Shadowblaze - Lvl 50 Dark/Thermal Cor, Alexander Kalsoa - Lvl 50 BS/Regen Scrapper, and a whole bunch of other Alts. Global is @Shadowblaze.

Yeah, some of the servers were REALLY bad that weekend. Freedom had to be brought down at one point. Virtue was a barrage of map server disconnects for part of the weekend. This is part of the reason we saw the extended maintenances over the past few weeks. My understanding is they were performing hardware upgrades to beef up the servers. Personally, I see the fact that they still need to be beefing up servers after so many years in the market as a good sign. It means they aren't planning to go anywhere any time soon.

I am reaffirming my prediction that we will see I16 next week or the following week. Some are predicting as early as tomorrow, but I highly doubt we see an Issue patch on a Friday, particularly since the are patching test again at the moment.

Kinda leaning that way myself, but wanna see how much stuff they get ironed out with the current patch. Right off the top of my head, I can think of three bugs that still exist with pets. Two are minor annoyances, but the third can be the difference between survival and a very nasty death.

I'd love for I16 to launch soon, but I've managed to distract myself by buying the Science booster pack instead. Now I just have to get one of my characters to twenty so I can switch between super small and super huge - that should take me about a week or so, what with my limited available playtime.

If the issue isn't released by then ... well, I suppose I could play Dwarf Fortress for a week, although I'm really waiting for the new version to release there, too.
