I kind of like when there was no rep then no one was saying some one was beter than others or more useful

I can defo agree on a few of them [not all though sadly].
Respite + arcanaville are both two of the most well known names in the game [both EU and US] so they deserve their place up there.
However throwing in an EU name or two i'ld 100% add mothers love to it since he has to be the most recognised/nicest player ingame on our shores.
Majority of others i feel though is a bit iffy on the whole "what exactly are we defining rep by?"

I also think that it's even simpler - someone who likes you can forget to rep you over many posts, but give you negative rep because you said one thing that really turned them off. And sometimes you can get rep for just disagreeing with specific people. So it's not even an entirely accurate popularity contest.
Also, people who post more are more likely to get repped, just from visibility.
It doesn't mean anything. It's just a game.

Honestly, if I had to pick a handful of names... Hickman (Hickman, Hickman... Pantslessness. Shameless plug), you, Arcanaville, Memphis_Bill, and Aetthorn are probably people I'd give a top ten spot to. Maybe BaBs, Jay, or Castle as well (as two of those do post a lot, and it's much appreciated; And Jay's work on the costume creator is awesome. It's by far my favorite part of the game, and there's few things he's put out that I didn't think had at least one positive aspect).
For some other board representations... ShoNuff and Thors_Assassin also'd get honorable mentions. They've done a ton of really awesome things for their respective boards of choice (Comic and Hero/Villain Culture and Screenshots & Fanart, respectively) over the couple of years I've been here. Maybe not top ten, though.. Top 20, definately.
Phil's definately a top 20, too.
...If I ever get on the top 25 (again, anyway), I'll be confuzzled beyond reason.

There's a good reason for that, 9 out of the top 10 got there by "fake rep". They just give each other positive rep back and forth in their Raise the Rep thread.
