Scrappers United - Roll Call

Well after looking through this place it does seem of the mostly US populated boards the Scrapper section is the friendliest so I will use the fact its my most played AT to make it my home.

I also saw Shannon tank the AVs on the all scrapper STF, which was impressive.

I have solo'd a few AVs with my DM/SR, but now I know it can be done I am less interested and looking for new concepts to build. I like to alt with scrappers but Defenders are my favourite AT, I only have 3 defenders, I only need 3 to play out the concepts I have and i love them all. But scrappers I have too many concepts for to maintain my focus on anyone to love as much as a defender. When I can be bothered to sit by the AH for long enough I will be soloing some with a Fire/Shield, hopefully successfully. Not having DM will take me out of my confort zone I think.

Oh and I've tanked GMs with an SO only build on my Claws/WP but I've made it even more squishy since then and dropped confront.

I'm waiting for elec to be released on heroes to see if claw/elec is as fun as it sounds and am interested to see people run the numbers on it.

I love seeing scrappers bring something to a team and prove those haters out there wrong, I like it even more when a team brings something to my scrapper

This is SpiderTeo, or Teo for short. I'm just here to have fun. My first and main toon is my MA/Regen scrapper, which I have been able to tweak and build up enough so it can do the RWZ Challenge (What? a non-sword /Regen?) and solo a pylon. I'm big into concept over min/maxing, but I can still appreciate, and have made and used, optimized builds. Hell, I even take self rez powers on my builds and am not afraid to use them. It's my reset button and it works better than a wakie.

Even though I solo a bit, I also know team dynamics. I've got TF experience behind my belt, though the one Task Force that has alluded me thus far is the Master of the Statesman Task Force (but I've always failed it due to someone else dying). But that's the Teo-Luck for ya!

Hello, I am a lurker (not a stalker). I don't really asked questions or talk a lot unless i can't figure out something myself. I am always into number crunching that other people come up with. I myself have put their info into a formula that i use for myself to calculate survival.

Hello, as you can probably tell from my forum name I am Moonlighter. I have been around for a while playing a bunch of different scrappers. I tend to lurk most of the time, but sometimes I am drawn into a thread or two.

Zetargos Kazhard...long time member of the Dark Armor legion. We've seen our numbers grow over the years. Vastly misunderstood and underestimated set by the masses. I remember the days when only three or four (Games Master, KayConstatine, Des, Q just to name a few) people would honestly reply to a dark armor question. Katana/DA is my favorite combination in the game...been playing it for the longest of any of my other characters. Build has gone through multiple changes from beginning of not understanding the game and not picking up stamina until lvl 30 to its current incarnate that has little room for improvement IMO.

I've come and go over the years...currently active in the game right now.

Hi! I'm Powerforge. I've been playing a bit over three years and have leveled many different AT.

About a year ago I soloed my first AV and really began trying to maximize my builds. I came to the scrapper forums and met a lot of very helpful people and to this day I am still learning. I realize now that soloing an AV really is a modest accomplishment (particularly after playing a MM to 50. What a powerhouse!), but I still remember the feeling I had when I did it the first time.

Lately I have been experimenting with other ATs but my home will always be here with the scrappers. Lots of helpful, knowledgeable folks here.

I'm very much looking forward to power customization, as character design and concept are very important to me.

I have two 50 Scrappers, one's Katana/DA, the other's Fire/Fire. I also have a MA/SR, BS/Shield and Dark/WP who're getting there. I like to hit things 'till they stop moving, prefferably lots of moving things which fight back untill they go squish. I enjoy number crunching, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it on my characters so mostly give advice to/make builds for others. In my opinion, a good fight on a Scrapper ends with your health in the red and nothing else standing on the map, where's the fun in being invincible?

I also enjoy Brutes, impossible odds and long walks on the beach.

Hi, I'm EvilGeko, and I play Scrappers.

I'm not known for anything anymore. I used to be the main proponent/foil/defender of Regen and an avowed Moment of Glory hater, but then they left Regen alone for awhile and actually buffed MoG.

So, I'm pretty mellow these days. I'm like the old war vet who gets a kick out of the new kids and their survival charts, and arguing over who does 10 more DPS than the other guy. All the time arguing about builds that are in the top 1% and can all do pretty much the same overpowered things.

oh Kali I knew I shouldn't have done even a small list...I knew I would have left a few people out like Screwloose and others XD

And so many who left while DA was given insufficient buffs and excess nerfs! I don't think a lot of them have come back.

I really like playing my scrappers to their maximum potential and building them in various ways such as maximum AoE carnage, AV soloing and scranking. No idea if anyone knows my name for anything, but I think I have a good share of knowledge on Katana and Invulnerability (those being the powersets I have on my first and most IO'd 50).

Nothing beats Dark Melee, nuff said. Secondaries I love most are DA, Invuln, SR and hopefully the upcoming Elec since I have great expectations for a DM/Elec and an Elec/Shield.

Hello, I'm Demobot, and I'm a somewhat recent Scrapaholic. I have two level 50 Scrappers, American Lotus (Katana/Regen) and Umbral Vanguard (Dark Melee/Shield Defense). Having seen all too brief glimmers of DM/SD's potential on 8-man TFs, I'm awaiting I16's expanded difficulty options with great anticipation. It'll be a glorious time for Scrapping.

Yo. I'm Cron. I'm pretty new too, but scrapping is by far my favorite thing in this game. I'm trying out the other ATs slowly, but my main is still, and will probably always be, a BS/Regen with, if I may say so myself, a unique appearance, heheh.

I am AgentMountaineer and while I have recently venture into the tank realm (I can't help but love melee characters) I will always be a scrapper at heart. I don't have any particular specialty that I am aware of, other than fallowing the scrapper conversations and chipping in where I feel I can actually contribute.

My main is a Kat/WP and I am quite fond of the combo even if it may be considered ultra-easy mode by some. I'm always willing to help you figure out how to afford those IOs that the number crunchers recommend for the primo builds.

The names Eldrac and I am a Scrapperholic, no other AT gives me quite the rush a Scrapper does. Although I might do a lot of my builds for mainly RP and concept reasons, I go for maximum collateral damage as any good Scrapper should. Been playing since way back in beta, just had to take an extended break from my MA/DA and from the game.

Current 50's are:
Archon Ezekiel: MA/Dark (Lord only knows how I got him to 50 and slotted)
Eldrac SR: MA/SR

My main is Eldrac whom is a DM/WP at level 28 now, loving every second of it and in reserve I have Leonus a Katana/WP and a DM/Regen hovering around 38 till i16 goes live.

Looking forward to soloing some AV's when my DM/WP is up to scratch and I have to thank all of y'all for posting up the great advice that have gotten me to this point.

I am Riez (I know what my post name says but it was a 5 letter min on the name choice). My first alt was a DM/Regen scrapper. Now, I have many alts. Most of them are scrappers. I've played this game a little over 2 years (27 months was the last vet badge)I've only started posting a few months ago. I'm not really known for anything yet. I am pro /regen and pro foc acc. And I want better/more epics for scrappers (Yes, I had to go there) I'm anti set mules and any IO over 50 million and can't be gotten with merits. I mostly solo when leveling so I won't miss out on the fun arcs. (I know we have flashback but you are bound to them like Task Force). I enjoy task force and raids as well. Especially the ones with all scrappers. I hope to one day be able to say "I did that on a team with all scrappers" to any task in the game other then the hami raid (but how cool would that be). Its good to know that I'm not the only one that thinks that way.
