_EU and _NA IS TEMPORARY

Well as many before me.. I made maybe one post myself on a trial account. And totally forgot to change my US account before this merge.
Merging all names that are the same and are owned by the same account would be a fast clean-up to start.

The NA on the end of my name is annoying, but not that high priority. (I'd rather they fix the password and security issue pronto).
But seeing as how I was the first Ellis, either I'd like it back or the ability to create an Ellis-based handle of my choosing. Thanks for assuring us it will be addressed.

Personally i thought the _NA/_EU after the names was there to help me identify the crybabies from the whiners...

in all seriousness though, good to know the devs thought of it beforehand. here's to a quick and painful resolution of the issue (GO GO BLOODSPORT!!!WHOOHOO!!!)

The "other" me.. is.. a trial version that I used on the US some time ago.
Why? To get access to threads that was invalid. (Weird enough it worked having a trial forum account logged in.)

I had the game on import from i1 but only stayed for 4 months due to lack of teams , i was working very odd shifts at the time so i left then came back for eu beta .

I mean, had i foreseen this, i'd have changed the handle on my old EU account before the merger but seeing as didn't, i hope that sooner or later, this issue is dealt with.
Exacly my point. I thought I were safe and had checked, I guess I didn't. Anyway I hope the solution will be found soon and that it isn't a "free name change to people with _NA or _EU" because that means all the inactive gets to keep their while the active either accept the _EU or _NA. However I have high hopes that a better solution comes up

I -think- Xanatos_EU is the beta account i used to test COH EU. Not sure though.
So I notice that some people have been able to change their name. What's the secret?
