More freebies for some US players again

I have a hunch this is just a halloween-style costume, not a pack with individual bits, so this is no big deal for me. It'll all be the same in about a month when it wears off.
But if it IS individual bits we can use in the costume creator, then yeah, something needs to be done to get us these!

It's sort of like the Hallowe'en costumes.
It changes your entire toon into a KoA, just like the Hallowe'en ones, but it's not a 30 day power, it's permanent, once applied to the account, just like the ones that were given away last year (PPD Hardsuit and one other that I can't recall atm)
:edit: on rereading that, it reads as if it permanently changes your toon into a KoA... it works like the hallowe'en temps. It gives you the KoA costume temp, but it's not got an expiry time, so it's a permanent temp power once the code's applied to your account, if that makes any more sense at all....
Bleh, I give up, bed time.

Plus I suspect there's not much stopping anyone world-wide from going to the con. Bar the whole 'shedloads' of cash for travel.
You'll be surprised to know that we have secured Knives of Artemis codes for European players as well 
But just like the Freakshow, Harlequin and PPD costume codes, this year's codes will only be available through events or contests.

Keep up FFM Avatea has quite often lately offered costume codes as part of prizes in player organised events Quite a few lately iirc.
Though i personally want an igneous costume code!!! As long as they DONT get something totally unique then i'll keep to our random contests

Only if the DTWT team turn up at a con. They did without NCSoft's presence at Bristol Comic Expo 2009, but not sure if they'll make an appearance at any further ones this year.
Hopefully the merger with the US forums will mean we can get included in some of their competit- heh, who am I kidding. All those terms and conditions and so forth will probably forbid that.

Probably. Star Wars Galaxies, with a single set of forums (and server list) for both US and EU, still exclude people outside US for contest like creating in-game paintings and such.

Meh, welcome to the world of the rest of us, who never had any sort of CoH event in their country, I think there were one or two in Germany but that's about it. At least you had the experience in the past.

I suppose that all depended on how badly you wanted to go, really... A friend of mine, ShadowGhost, is Dutch, but he's been over to several events, including Omega Sektor. Cheap flights ftw!

It's not impossible, just rather unlikely.
I do see Carni's point. They should done more shows on the EU mainland and it's a pity they didn't. But now, there isn't going to be ANY more shows with NC Soft in attendence in the EU...

I know it's very unlikely now that virtually all EU business seems to be handled stateside, and if we do see them I'll be watching out for porcine aeronauts, but have they said that they plan not to attend any events in the EU?
