TR wasn't as well established tho. It was less than a year old.

The CoX EU fraternity is considerably wider reaching (and I believe bigger.) They have more to lose - and so does NC Soft by losing that revenue.

Plus, even to this day, i know people that will not touch a Sony game because of the Star Wars debacle. Nc wouldn't want that kind of rep, the TR farce was bad enough.

And rumors in europe already gues Aion wont be a big hit either.

When will NC start scratching their heads and wonder why... No freaking advertisment. Today games wont sell themself anymore, TR became a very solid game but they have never put any real advertisement in it. Neither they did on CoX, GW had a name established ages again along with LA(2).

Then again, it was partly expected back when the first bomb hit Brighton. NCwest was made, it even amazed me they still have devs in Europe working on the game.

Of course, it's technically against the rules since it allows you to bypass the EULA, but that's a fairly minor point.

My guess (probably already said by others): EU game/servers will keep operating. EU forum/website will be moved/merged to the US one.
I hope the americans are ready for us, there's a reason their rednames fear to tread here :3

I think we're nearer 150k - which is still good.
And the booster packs, extra slots, server transfers and so on will also be generating a steady stream of income on top of the subs.
The dev team has more than doubled since NCSOft bought the game, and they're still advertising for more jobs.

I don't mean middle management, I mean the guys at the top for whom the only interaction from the rest of the company and customers they get is from numbers (Namely the figure in the Profit/Loss column) but still have power over the company.

So NCSoft Europe will be refocusing their resources on marketing? Considering that's something quite a few players have said has been lacking, it doesn't relly seem like a bad move to me.
