If you had any idea about the amount of PuG's i create and lead to most people's enjoyment then you would not have said that. I think it takes a lot of effort to lead a team and make sure everyone's not only enjoying themselves, but going at a good pace. This includes New players as well as Old. I do my best to make friends everywhere and to help people whenever i can. Any insinuation that i am in any way Elitist is frankly, offensive.

I haven't got it. Level 20 so far and not even looked at it. Anyone that would kick me from a team for not having a power on my character that they think I should have is not someone I would team twice with. My character, my choice.

I find this acceptable but here is the thing with me. Your characters odds on more likely to be a little more offensive. You will get in trouble from having a greater threat level. My characters got the maneuvers but as a result of slotting it, I may do less attack chains to the end bar, and have less threat, your in trouble, I am not, I need end rec for more dps..but its only because "i r ebul!" I wouldn't think twice bout turning mine off.

MaX has a sense of taste.
Pity it clashes with everyone else's though. You kind of get used to it in the end. When your sense of vision returns that is.

In my opinion actually, you saying that, because you personally dont need it it isnt essential, generally is the very elitism the ops talking about not the other way round.
You either have to pick the build that doesnt need it or be one of those players who is quite happy to stop to rest every second minion from about level 8 till 20.
Most builds are disproportionately low on stamina between those levels and most people dont find that as fun.
The quality of life experience of playing the game dramatically improves when the average new player with the average build gets stamina and i think you know it.

I don't want to make this into some kind of rant but i really do think that some people in this game are getting more and more of an Elitist attitude.
Some think that because they've been here longer or played the game a while, it is their right to treat everyone else like idiots, Like they're lower than they are just because they don't play 7 days a week. I have a dear friend who is relatively new to the game and i'm doing my best to teach her all about it. However she is scared to death of teaming with some people because if she makes a single mistake or doesn't do something, they treat her like the worlds going to end and that she's a world class idiot, When really she's just new to the game and is learning the ropes.
It's not just in game either, on these very forums there are people that really believe they can dismiss any topic and tell people to get lost just because They have been here longer and therefore have discussed the topic before. We wonder why we get few new people and i for one believe it's for this exact reason.
I'm in no way intending to tar everyone with the same brush, i'm sure there are just as many good people out there who do their best to help others, I certainly try my hardest to help new players. I just feel like there are some that automatically think that Age = Wisdom, which i'm sorry is just not the case. A more understanding attitude would go a long way imho, to making this game better all round.

Everyone has a right to be elitist. Or to think they are elite. However, it dosent make them elite, whatever that word means anyway. For me, its polyfactoral and will of course include a judgement of that persons character.
And, of course, being elitist will have consequences. Personally, I cant see any significantly positive ones. Negative ones, I can see in abundance.
I for one dont give a hoot how many level 50s somebody has. There is a world of difference between a level 50 who has PuGd up to 50 experiencing a wide variety of situations and someone who sits in PI shouting "Looking for farms".
Incidentally, they are big green areas often populated with cattle animals and which grow foodstuffs.

Do we have SOME experience? yes. Do we have the experience of a characters lifespan from 1 - 50 of 20 different combos? Large majority of players i'ld say no. So for information on those power combos it'ld be a good idea to talk to him, not for information on grinding as you put it.

Well yes there is that, hell im still playing my two 50s after all this time and love them.
But the point being in that there isnt all that much to learn about your powers once youv hit level 50. The only thing you can really improve on is skill not the actual power. So my point still stands that for power information on a larger scale he'ld be better suited to ask for hints/tips than say someone like me with only 2 level 50s.
