I enjoy doing the LRSF because it takes teamwork and patience. I guess I got spoiled for a while doing regular runs with a great bunch of players. Things like shivans and corr heavy teams will help but they are by no means required - teamwork and strategy are much more important.

The LRSF is probably my favourite SF by far. It certainly doesn't require granite brutes, or mind/whatever doms. Or Shivans and Warburg nukes. Me and a mate have recently been running a few LRSF a few evenings and have been running them in very good times. If you'd like to join us for a run or two let me know.

I've never seen a team incapable of completing it. I have seen teams caught by the old bug that was on it but never incapable of finishing it.

I don't do villain side that much at all though "on any one alt" and so I am the least likely to get on one.

Not for the win team mixes and more diverse teams should be more interesting and more rewarding in terms of grasping more of the game mechanics. Unfortunately for me I feel lonely in my interest in getting things done utilizing anyone.

He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.

I have been in a team that couldn't complete it. No bugs no nothing. Just opponents in last mission was to strong. We didn't even come to the point where we were trying to kill statesman. We were wiped out and wiped and wiped and wiped by the full freedom force who always managed not to be able to be caught alone.

Until that moment everything was a cakewalk. Then suddenly unable to finish no way what we tried.

If rushing them all at once wasnt working, you should have pulled them one at a time, takes much longer but does the job.

I assumed they tried that with the 'couldn't be caught alone' bit, Londoner.

Well they can be caught alone, it just takes time.

I read what he said to mean they were all bunched together, anyway never mind.

Well we tried to get the freedom force one by one. But they wouldn't oblige and we would be wiped out. Of course we rinsed and repeated many many times. Same thing happening time and again. We even restarted the mission a few times ending in the same result.

I've been on one Task Force. Ever. It was the Imperious, and we couldn't beat the last guy.

Nah, just his healy one. We were a bit scuppered by a couple scurrilous desertions just when we'd hit on a winning formula that needed another go.

Treasonous, seditious, filthy scum! People who give up on that TF without at least having tried to take Romy down for 30 mins aggravate me to no end!

This TF can be done with almost all comboes of AT's... But...

It failed everytime people leave/give up because of dying a few times.

It is essential that you dont lose more then 1-2 members before coming to the last mission. Then start to use youre head. Tactics has to be made up according to the team build. Is there someone that can spam -regen..? like Howling Twilight. How is the damage output? Is Vengeance available?

Worst case scenario... Attack full front and have the whole team target one of the Freedom Phalanx at once. You get killed... but that one you targeted will be dead too. You get back... and redo with next member. This tactic will also get you a debt badge

- The Italian Job: The Godfather Returns #1151
Beginner - Encounter a renewed age for the Mook and the Family when Emile Marcone escapes from the Zig!
- Along Came a... Bug!? #528482
Average - A new race of aliens arrives on Earth. And Vanguard has you investigate them!
- The Court of the Blood Countess: The Rise of the Blood Countess #3805
Advanced - Go back in time and witness the birth of a vampire. Follow her to key moments in her life in order to stop her! A story of intrigue, drama and horror! Blood & Violence... not recommend to solo!

Do it over, and use a chem nuke on States if he gets cranky. Unless he's bugged, there is no way he can take 8 shivans and a chem nuke. ( We have encountered bugs with unstoppable type powers before, repeating the task might give a different outcome. )

Always been opposed to this Strike force, because you need to heavily orchestrate team composition, and/or use external aids like Shivan/nukes, if the composition fails to match up. It kinda kills the spirit of gathering a team and do stuff, when you end up with spreadsheet style planning. It also greatly helps reinforce the notion of "uber builds", and "useless builds", which create enough friction already. But to each his own.

I was lucky enough before MoLRSF to get the normal LRSF badge on my stalker but when MoLRSF came out my heart sank but was determined I'll get it one day ... that was over half a year ago because soon after my computer went kaput and I haven't been able to get a new one. However I hope to get one before my Bday so I can see if anyone wants a MoLRSF run on St Paddy's day.

I'd probably still be there after 30 minutes but I'd likely be snoring.

But I seem to be lucky on TFs, only ever had to give up on one cause of time constraints since I started playing and no one's given up on me

Yeah. Bugged unto oblivion. Only real answer Im afraid.

Had that problem with the Honoree. Got to the end mission and hammered him over and over and over and OVER! But, lo and behold, the 'no-crash' Unstoppable of doom, that slimy little...!

Of course, then we did the Corporation run of it...man, I dont even think he had a chance to fire that thing, let alone say 'Oh help, I think Im dead!'

Actually, his endearing soft strokeability is making it more likely that I'll end up wearing a kind of imitation grass skirt made out of animated blonde hair, than a blue rabbitskin loincloth.
