The Most Weird Bug/Thing You've Seen In-Game

Inspired partly by rpgguy's thread about his void spawn encounter, I'd like to hear other people's weird bugs or stories of messed up things.

The weirdest thing that's happened to me in-game was the first time I was shifted to an empty Atlas Park, no trainers, contacts, nothing. Not even litter! Scared the hell out of me. It also happened once on my villains main in Nerva.

Over to you guys!

I was changing costumes earlier today and in one of them my arms were missing - my gloves were still there though, so I looked like a punk rock rayman.

I didn't screencap it but this happened a week back on a cot oranbenga cave style map;

Remember the circular prison room with the chrystal like jails?

Well if you're in the room it looks like the ceiling is flat with a small side going up in the end, this is actually not true, the room itsself is a shaped like a bullet, the ceiling in place is just a wall.

I somehow managed to get stuck between the 2nd ceiling and the top of the room, I could target the mobs but they couldnt hit me.

Not the weirdest thing that happened to me (Ive had some weird stuff happen to me in coh), but certainly some of the strange stuff.

I also have a mastermind with the hollows task force member badge bar, about 5% done;

I also fell trough the gameworld once.

Had this in a mission some time ago. Couldn't resist taking a screenshot. Still wonder how they managed to move around in that state...

I have had a few missions where the longbow minions have been fighting one another. With no confuse powers being used.
And once in the breakout bomb placing mission I was ambushed by convicts.

Oh and usually if I click the level up icon on my villains I am told to go see a trainer like Ms. Liberty in Atlas Park.

Has to be one of my favourites bugs and one I have always hoped I would one day encounter. Entered one of my mishes when an actual villain from CoV appeared. Needless to say I quickly arrested him lol.

I've encountered the same-faction-enemies-killing-each-other bug a couple of times. Makes for interesting missioning.

The time I ended up outside Pocket D. That was fun, floating about and staring in the windows at people. It was just after the revamp to include the Vaults, so where my character was standing suddenly became something else, and I ended up being able to move around outside it.

I think i'll vote for sync bug.
No other bug have annoyed me to this extent. It's also been one of the longest lasting bugs.

I still think the guy air walking in the city hall is the best one. I mean come-on 4 years and not corrected.....

Something happened to me a little while ago, fighting council and a war wolf 'died' in midair, so its body was just hanging there lifeless. Kind of look like he was trying to crowd surf. I took a screenie, at work at the moment so can't upload it though.

Another thing that made me laugh was when I was hanging around waiting for an ITF to start and an NPC walked past and mentioned something about 'Tired Angel saving a lab' or something. Bit freaky how the ancient romans knew about my exploits in the future

If your mouse has greater processing power than your gfx card, the answer is yes.

The first time i entered Fire Base Zulu. I saw loads of soldierboys training. They looked mighty mysterious as I couldnt see their names just a secret number appeared. I thought it was part of the secrecy of the Shadow Shards. Nowadays they are soldiers with names and everything. Still I wish for the magic of the first time and those mysterious people to reappear.

Those are some great stories, ones I encounter often are the guy walking in midair in Atlas (aaaaah nostalgia!) and enemies dying in midair, that happens a lot whne you have an AR/Dev blaster methinks lol

I think the weirdest one for me was entering a mission on CoV only to find there was no map whatsoever. Instead the entire team plummeted to the ground in a vast empty area (just sky to be seen, above and below).

We all logged out and back in again, but the bug remained. We smartly opted for a new mission shortly thereafter

For a long time after I first started playing I actually thought this was deliberate. I thought it was quite cool.

I had a similar one to that. I did a costume respec at the tailors and when I came out my skirt was on sideways - unfortunately it was the design with side cut-outs, and yes, the cut-outs were in, shall we say, slightly strategic places!

I spent the whole time until I could get another costume respec worrying I was going to get banned by a GM for corrupting any 12-year-olds that might be playing the game. (Then I realised I wasn't playing WoW... )

Because all the 12-year-olds playing this game are already corrupted?
