Pain Domination power descriptions
Pain Incarnate. Oohhh I like. I like a lot. From the looks it will most definately be a set I'm going to try (though I already was planning to.)

Wonder how high the heal will be on this? Can see this being a must have power for masterminds surrounded by their pets.
Overall looks rather interesting, the recharge buff should be very usefull too.

Just noticed that there is no equivalent to recovery aura or adrenalin boost, so no blue love there.

Yep, but then if they're doing the opposite of empathy (and it sounds like they've nailed it with the current options) Tier 1 HAS to be a spam heal....:P
I can see the BM at Cap becoming even laggier than normal :P

Nullify Pain on auto then toggle on Soothing aura = double spam heals.
Well its just what i thought it would be .... NOT anywhere near what we have with empaths and as i knew it would be second rate im not bothered about it.

Looks fairly similiar to me. Fortitude is replaced with an AOE Buff in World of Pain, AB is Painbringer in all but name. The only real difference I can see if Recovery Aura has been replaced with that debuff power, Anguishing Cry.
What differences do you mean?
For on an empath is a single target buff this lets the empath stay out they way of the action an aoe one means coming into the middle and run the huge risk of being taken out.
Im thinking more for pvp here rather than pve, i guess what i was hoping for was a set that would let villains have a chance in pvp when you get a good empath on the other team and as yet i cant see it still play will prove this right or wrong
I'd hold off making PvP judgements for a bit, the entire system seems to be getting gutted and rebuilt. For example Single Target Holds in PvP become incredibly short in duration (2.5 seconds) with the damage going up 5 or 6 fold.
All Mez Protection is getting removed in PvP, being replaced by Resistance, Toggles won't drop, instead they'll become Inactive whilest mezzed. And the PPPs are getting rebuilt as well.
And don't forget half the "villain empaths" will be Masterminds, so the "stay out of combat, you're squishy" won't really apply to them.

Soothing Aura seems like a twist on Regen Aura to me from the descrioption, but without more than a discription who's to know.

I see it as an aura clicky, activate to trigger higher regeneration (which is every second?) numbers.

Painbringer is not the same as AB instead its more of a hybrid between fort and AB.
High +regen +recov (from AB) and +damage (from fort)
This actually looks even better for MMs now than a straight port would have.
To be honest I think the way this set has been designed plays to the strengths and strategies Masterminds utilise anyway.
This was never going to be sitting back in Bodyguard mode firing off Heal other/Aura/AB pain and fort.
Sure Its going to be a set which I suspect will need to be tinkered with a little in future patches before it being and playing how it was originally conceptualised, but it looks promising.

Painbringer: You transform an ally to pain incarnate turning them into an inexhaustible killing machien. While the character is imbued with this power they will benefit from incredible health regeneration, endurance recovery and improved damage potential for a short time.
