I think addressing that issue would require alot more time and effort but would improve the balance more so than tweaking suppression values, and would allow for suppression to be removed from pvp entirely then just increase the endurance cost of travel powers.

Theres ways around it. A bane showed me that in sirens a month or so ago. He jumped into hurricane and then jumped out and activated the power as he was jumping out rendering
my max slotted tohit debuff hurricane useless also avoiding the repel. Sure he was still rooted when he used it but he overcame the the problem.

Hurricanes ToHit debuff sticks around for 10 seconds so there's no benefit in doing that, in terms of being able to avoid the debuff. More likely he had +ToHit & maxed out Acc in his attacks.

In PvP, if you run through hurricane and jump as you do the attack the to-hit debuff has dropped before you hit so it can't be 10 seconds in PvP.

AFAIK mate that not WAI as its the same problem that force bubble has. For example, a toon with no repel protection can still melee shot a bubbler with jousting -

Going on those crazy test numbers shown over on US, Fire/SS/Fire is going pretty hawt. But as others have said it is almost certain things will change from beta so best bet is to wait.

Yeah Kin/psi is up there with /sonic and /elec. As falcon has said its defoo suited to team support.

Yeah thats coolHopefully the devs will look into adding a feature that enables all IOs to be moved out of a toon when respeccing instead of the current 10 which has been poor since IOs have been out. Its been mentioned over at the US forums so it might actually get some attention..

Looks fairly similiar to me. Fortitude is replaced with an AOE Buff in World of Pain, AB is Painbringer in all but name. The only real difference I can see if Recovery Aura has been replaced with that debuff power, Anguishing Cry.

Painbringer is not the same as AB instead its more of a hybrid between fort and AB.
High +regen +recov (from AB) and +damage (from fort) -
And yes I can confirm you CAN 1 shot with fire attacks cos of the DoT

Hopefully now that a power's statistics can be viewed ingame, it will lead to less new/inexperienced players from picking powers based on those aweful descriptions

You won't regret rolling Fire/EM, i love it PvE and PvP it just well, it owns. I haven't played my blaster in a while but this was the old-school, essentially PvP build, concentrating on Recharge, perma hasten and Inferno will be part of your attack chain. The mega fast Recharge of this build will always mean you have an attack ready.
It also has Hibernate and Phase shift, bare in mind the build is oldish and this was before they brought in the Phaseshift nerf. I'm still miles off this build, just dont have the influence.
My tip for playing a Blaster in PvP, always keep moving, stand still and you'll just get wasted. When you enter combat switch to Combat Jumping, with Hurdle you'll be very hard to defeat by a Melee class and if you do take a hit just bam on Phaseshift or Hibernate.

This tourny has been organised for a while now, we've all had plenty of time to decide on teams, and toons, and builds, and timescale. I'm not going to go into the toon change you made, because it's dealt with, however we were all aware it would take place weekly, on Sundays, but on the 1st night, afaik your toon wasn't completed, (yes you had a waiver, but if it had gone smoother we could of had more fights) then you announce that you will be away from Sept 15th to the 21st, depending on when you get back, that's another pre-organised Sunday you can't do, and now you say you can't do this Sunday either.
I'm not having a go at all, we all have RL stuff to do, and that has to come 1st, but I'm totally bewildered as to why you signed up knowing you'd be away, and couldn't make fights? And even more so, now you've used your one allowed sub for the entire tourny. =/
(bear in mind it is only this week KS has said you can fight on weekdays if a judge is available, but mass fights are preferred)

I'm not supporting either of your arguments but you have to remember this kind of event happens once in a blue moon (2nd time in the history of CoX EU) so its understandable that people really want to participate, even if it means having to make some alterations likes substitutions due to having busy real lives.
