Oh well maybe I should finally make a toon there. Just every time I go there it only seems to have about 15 people online.

Well, I have been putting on a little weight, and I'll admit I'm no oil painting, but I don't think it's actually possible for me to get any badder at PvP. Still, as long as Prox is there I can pick up cheap kills while he's doing his links 
However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator
I'll be there if only to give Kiken more easy kills

Don't worry this is an ongoing event and will be held on both servers, but since Defiant is "home" to both myself and Prox we're kicking off there. But come along. And trust me, there's a lot more than 15 on it.

I play on both servers but Defiant is where I started so I consider it "home". As Riff said, although it's starting off on Defiant we will be holding it regularly on Union too.
Also we try to start off at level 5 or so, so you don't actually need a high level character to get a game in, although as the night goes on we tend to do some higher level stuff.
Hope to see a whole bunch of you for some fun, friendly PvP mayhem

Yup, should be a lot of fun, underpinned by some sweepingly epic soundtrack action!
I only stayed for the first couple of fights (thought Id go while I was doing well ), but hats off to Prox for running it and doing the tunes. Loved the low level mass battles.
The low level stuff is always chaos cos no-one's got a travel power or got their best attacks. It's just a giant slugfest and I really like that. I get worse the more powers other people have

This Friday sees the return of Friday Night Fight Club, which will be held on the Defiant server in Pocket D from 10pm on Friday 12th September - if you have any interest in PvP, even just as a casual player, then come along and have some fun trying to defeat your fellow listeners.
For more information about FNFC, see Friday Night Fight Club - The Lowdown. Essentially it's 2 hours of Arena-based mayhem in which we play Free For All and Team matches at different levels, for fun and bragging rights!
This is a very special occasion because Riff, former Evo DJ, will be returning to the Evo airwaves as he broadcasts to listeners of Evolution Radio and his own Music World Radio in a simulcast of epic proportions!
Riff tells me his set will be full of his trademark cool jazz as well as some theme tunes, so make sure you are tuned in.
I won't be able to take part as I am going to a wedding at the weekend (and therefore will no doubt see some PvP carnage anyway!) but I hope you can all join Riff as he returns to Evo and to FNFC which originally was his baby.
Make him feel welcome and support the return of Friday Night Fight Club, your premier PvP event!
(just a note for people on Union, the next FNFC, to be held in two weeks time, will be held on Union, so don't fret!)

If you read subsection 12b that states mereman also gets a free kill

Unfortunately, CoH crashed on me when I went to swap alts after the first match. By the time it had finished checking itself after restarting it, it just wasn't worth me logging back in just to say 'Time for bed now'
Do appreciate you running it for the week though Riff, and I thoroughly enjoyed the music. At least I got to carry on listening to that after I was booted out.
(Personally, I think Tinder sabotaged me, after all that whining last week about only losing to me because of a dropped connection )

That's right folks, your favourite regular PVP event is returning, but this time with a twist! The Friday Night Fight Club just got badder because this time, it's not just Evo Radio, it's Evo Radio and Music World Radio co-hosting a regular fortnightly event, bringing you more participants, more music and more CARNAGE!
Every alternate Friday from 10-Midnight UK time, both stations will combine to bring you the friendliest, funnest and funkiest Fight Night around, a PVP event for players of City of Heroes and Villains of all levels of character and ability.
Kicking off on August 29th will be Proximity with his own blend of movie theme tunes, whilst he hosts the event on both Evo and MWR. A fortnight later, Riff will be hosting the event from Music World Radio, bringing you his own eclectic musical tastes, and from then on both stations alternate, giving you a chance to listen in to your favourite station whilst you slam dunk your supergroup, crunch your coalition and pummel your pals!
Friday 29th, 10pm UK time, Defiant Server, Pocket D. Friday Night Fight Club, like you've never heard it before!
