Just a quick note to add that Evo Radio and Music World Radio will be providing coverage of this fun event, hope you can tune in!
Should be another fun time, I remember fondly Mother's Love's Halloween Masquerade Ball last year and it's always great to see community events like these
Hope everyone taking part has a great time! -
Don't forget folks, Friday Night Fight Club returns to Union this Friday (26th) from 10pm!
Come and get your Arena PvP carnage requirements, in both team and FFA flavours! -
This Friday sees the return of Friday Night Fight Club, which will be held on the Defiant server in Pocket D from 10pm on Friday 12th September - if you have any interest in PvP, even just as a casual player, then come along and have some fun trying to defeat your fellow listeners.
For more information about FNFC, see Friday Night Fight Club - The Lowdown. Essentially it's 2 hours of Arena-based mayhem in which we play Free For All and Team matches at different levels, for fun and bragging rights!
This is a very special occasion because Riff, former Evo DJ, will be returning to the Evo airwaves as he broadcasts to listeners of Evolution Radio and his own Music World Radio in a simulcast of epic proportions!
Riff tells me his set will be full of his trademark cool jazz as well as some theme tunes, so make sure you are tuned in.
I won't be able to take part as I am going to a wedding at the weekend (and therefore will no doubt see some PvP carnage anyway!) but I hope you can all join Riff as he returns to Evo and to FNFC which originally was his baby.
Make him feel welcome and support the return of Friday Night Fight Club, your premier PvP event!
(just a note for people on Union, the next FNFC, to be held in two weeks time, will be held on Union, so don't fret!) -
The low level stuff is always chaos cos no-one's got a travel power or got their best attacks. It's just a giant slugfest and I really like that. I get worse the more powers other people have
Glad you enjoyed it -
Yup, should be a lot of fun, underpinned by some sweepingly epic soundtrack action!
-
I play on both servers but Defiant is where I started so I consider it "home". As Riff said, although it's starting off on Defiant we will be holding it regularly on Union too.
Also we try to start off at level 5 or so, so you don't actually need a high level character to get a game in, although as the night goes on we tend to do some higher level stuff.
Hope to see a whole bunch of you for some fun, friendly PvP mayhem -
Yup keep me as contact for Evo Global, add @Last Son, @Dee Eight, @Shockolate as well please
That isn't all the mods but it's a smattering of them.

Name: The Femme Fatales
Website: http://www.femme-fatales.org
Contacts: @Ace of Diamonds, @Caereen
Notes:
The supergroup for female heroes! The Femmes have been going strong since early 2005 and we are a friendly lot who encourage fun in the game through teaming and other SG events. We also have a Femme Villains group on Defiant (the Fallen Femmes) and a presence on Union. -
Was it really a year ago? *watches time fly*

Have fun ST guys and gals

That's a fantastic origin story Riff. Really draws you in. The characterisation of Frank as crotchety but wants to do his darnest to fight is superb, and a lovely role for Scarlet too. Gives a nice insight into her feelings - I love the line "Shed grown up with a power and hed grown up without it and done powerful things."
Awesome work -
Go Shock Tactics! This is a great idea

Gratz!
Enjoyed the hour or so of continuous Novas during your 50 run, glad you got the big five-oh -

What Are You Doing Now?:
Leveling my Broadsword/Invuln Scrapper on Union. Defiant is my home, it's where my 50s are, but I've never understood the territorial aspect of server wars and have had fun on Union.
What would make you return to CoH?:
I never left. CoH is the only MMO I play. -
Sounds like a great idea, hope everyone has fun
