Oh yes. Plus it was out of necessity too, seeing as when I was still using ATI cards I had the alt tab bug. So a laptop that I used to college work was perfect, but now I'm looking to save up to get a mATX PC and get rid of my CRT monitor for a pair of LCD ones, so not only can I chat, but dual box too.

Forums, other websites, MSN, IRC server, IRC client, WMP, bittorrent, DVD encoding, sometimes Visual Studio 2008....

Yes, my PC is a wee beastie, and so's my bandwidth.

I occasionally have Herostats running, sometimes Skype, but I need friends for that to become more useful...

If I want to forget I've got it open, MSN. If I want music, WMP. Occasionally I'll fire up a browser to research something I need in-game, but most of the time only CoX.

Herostats and Ventrilo and if we are running and arc or TF I will have ParagonWiki and/or RedTomax websites open to keep track of progress.

I play in a window, so i got Internet Explorer and MSN open at all times when i play, easy to alttab .
Winamp up every now and then too when i feel the urge to listen to music.
my TV is close too, sometimes have that on when i play.

Xfire, firefox with facebook open, and then either windows media player or the BBC iPlayer listening to BBC 6music (best radio station!).

Yeah I have the game windowed on my desktop, allowing access to anything I want really. I use browsers all the time, and usually have Vuse running in the background..the only thing that assists with play that I can think of is Teamspeak when I feel like shouting or singing at the Elflings :P

Plus when I need an inf transfer or Sg invite I'll fire up a second window full of CoX...that just sounds so filthy for some reason.

Oh and Media Player Classic if I fancy a bit of music, or playing some video in the background...and believe me, I do :P

I tried Heroestats once but spent too much time playing and not much time looking at the stats.

Usually when I'm playing I also have the following open:

Titan Network Tracker

Mids' Hero Designer

tabbed web browser with:
* at least 5 tabs showing various forum pages
* at least 1 showing City Info Tracker
* at least 1 on Red Tomax
* at least 1 on Paragonwiki

A cheapo spreadsheet of characters helping me track key badges (TFs/SFs/Trials) - partly a carry over from when the titan network was having trouble with badge tracking

Often a simple text editor displaying bind files or one of my personal TF guides

Several windows explorer windows (into mids' save directories, bindfile directories etc etc)

Window Volume Controls (usually)

Just CoX thank you.

My computer would get confused with so many things running and frankly so would I.
