Ah, I've just been told she was on a char called Dinah Ewers.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah found it can't say it was the most polite asking in the world.

And it's also followed by half a screen of large messages, which is probably why I missed it.

Still saying a tell would of been politer even if she used the same language as he/she did in local, and more importantly I would of seen it and moved.

Probably she spoke shortly due to certain people being really annoying an inconsiderate of others?

It's not exactly rocket science to figure out setting off highly graphical (and noisy) power effects is going to bother people. Maybe I should spend an evening standing next to your char and constantly shift between dwarf and nova forms. You might just get it then.

Hang on. Isn't there some option to turn off extra FX from other players?

I remember seeing it last week when I was turning Bloom and my Particle Count down for my WS (stupid excess fluffyness).

AFAIK, that only works with looping effects.

Hmm make the char your spending the night with Anon and it sounds a laugh.

And there had been one blast at that point, possibly a second if my character had also detonated.

Now maybe I missed I don't know thirty people exploding while I wasn't looking but, had any of the people 'annoyed' by the event sent a tell, I would of found some way to move on to the grass, even if it was something stupid as being blown there by the wind.

But [censored] about it because I missed a two line, double bracketed message that started with a curse, when I normally write those off as containing ((curse words Mapserver)), is hardly considerate is it?

Again if you have a problem with my RP send a tell, it bleeps it shows up in a different colour and I can find it easy when local is moving fast.

The pimp robot later I have no excuse for I was drunk by that point, so sorry for that one.

But again a signal has to be received to be a message, so a tell would be nice next time you find me irritating.

I'll apologise for the language, I was annoyed due to external factors. I didn't say anything on GGOOC due to leaving it, and I should have sent a tell. 3 and a half years of RP at GG has shortened my temper and tolerance somewhat in regard to these things.

Yeah GGOOC did some what go down hill recently, I apologies for missing your message, would of moved it had I caught it.

I literally do just ignore messages that start with curse words OOC, as I assume they are complaing about stuff in RL, the map server, chavs, stubbing your toe etc.

I'll be some what more considerate in future.

It seems to me that this disagrement is all about people considerng the feelings of others, and nothing whatsover to do with the cyborg pack.

Ultimately all disagreements boil down to that.

You entirely underestimate the intelligence of the griefer.

Should I admit that I initally read 'griefer' as 'giraffe' and wondered what on earth you were on about?

Arrgh. The "RAWR RAWR RAWR" thread has turned into an after-school special.

The good griefers, sure.

The bad ones will roll a Warshade because they don't realise how easy it is to find someone's Global handle.

Whatever they do, I just ignore them. They always go away after a while if nobody rises to the bait.

you know what, i've had ZERO problems with this pack, and the one time the explode power bugged was because i was healed right as i exploded (on purpose i might add), want to know how i fixed it....i relogged, thats it.

Cozzie/auras? no problem.
power? no problem.
emotes? no problem.

So thanks to the devs for this pack
(if peeps don't like, don't buy it....simple)

Given the pettiness of some elements in this thread (regardless of position on RP) I can guarrenty that the Galaxy Girl statue is going to be the site of many robo suicide bombing runs.

Makes an interesting RP challenge...

Well i'm probably going to buy the pack yes, but i'm getting sick off a pesron running into the middle of were people are standing and exploding

arrhhhh around 5 explosions in a row and each time i lost connection to the mapserver

Figure i'll toss up my 2 inf worth on the cyborg pack now after buying it and checking it out.

Initial impression is that it's rather weak.
The Combat auras are neato, and the emotes. i'll give em that.
The Self Destruct power has it's novelty fun factor but is kinda pointless after all.

Then onto the costume pieces themselves.
Some of em are ok, i especially like the gloves, boots, and the shield chest detail + shoulders.
But it looks too detailed, everything like meshes together, even with making two distinct colors (black and white) it's so detailed it actually loses detail when looking at it. It's an oxymoron i know, but it all becomes so cluttered it's hard to actually see what it looks like. I looks ok in ICON when making the cossie, but when you get out in the world it just flows together into a blur imo. (graphic setting are on max).
I also dislike the fact you're forced to use some pieces. Aka, if you want the cyborg chest you have to pick robot arms, it's not there under normal tights. And the legs part is missing from monstrous, cause imo it would look ok with the robot claw legs, but that option is out.

So to sum up, it's ok, but not spectacular IMO it's worth it just for the heads up display and a few of the cossie pieces. Could've added more pieces then the few we get, it's pretty much only one cossie with some variations. The Wedding pack gave us many more cossie options.

Overall i'd rate it at 2 out of 5. It could've been better :| but it also could've been worse. Not sure i think it's value for money, but i am a cossie ****.

There is no cyborg chest. there are cyborg chest details, and they are both available with normal tights as well as bionic arms.

There is a cyborg chest when selectin the robotic arm 1,2 or 3. Least for females.

Granted it looks pretty much like Exoproto, but it there's nonetheless.

The Cyborg costume set semi-officially uses the ExoProto chest, apparently.

Posted

It looks like exoproto, because it is exoproto. And exoproto is available on all torso types.

Thier is no cyborg chest for anything, not male, not female, not huge.

o right, my bad.

The only thing about the cyborg shield chest detail is that it's hugely sticking out in front on females. so much that when they cross their arms the hands disappear into it.

The other chest detail looks fine, I just happen to like the shield better; entirely in white this cyborg kit is one shiny galore, very much up to my alley.

I love the emotes too, so with everything together I rate it a 4/5 due to the clipping with the shield test detail.

Oooh shinies! *runs off chasing something shiny and sparkly*
