... It -really- adds up, doesn't it?

Over 3 1/2 years almost anything adds up - that's well over 1,000 days, making the daily cost of CoX significantly under 50p. You'll be spending more than that if you buy a daily paper, and a lot more if you pop into Starbucks regularly.

Or beer money. Assuming one drinks beer.
Favoured Beverage money if you prefer.
You don't want to know how much I spend on gym subs that I hardly use...
I really should do something about this signature.
I know how much I did spend on gym subs I didn't use, and I also know that gym I was subscribed to was very cheap. And it probably came to way more that Z is talking about, in only one year.

that was one of the reasons why i'm against monthly fee for a game, but one as to go with the flow sometimes....
But think how much children cost and they wont let you dress them up in cyborg outfits well not all the time anyway.

Frankly, I daren't.
I don't want to work out what I've spent - but it'll be far less than what it'd cost for me to buy new, non-MMO releases to keep me entertained.
I don't plan on having kids, they'd take my money and want to use my technology. I'm fine with the cost of the game, was just a little surprised at how much I had spent!
Worth every penny for what the game's given me.

The money most of use could handle I think.
But damn get your potential hands off of my PC kids!
Brawling Cactus from a distant planet.
Kids are for passing old PCs to when you upgrade...well, mine is.

So true... unless the Cyborg outfit's from Gap Kids or something.
But look at it this way - it can be a cheap form of entertainment for them too! Noooo, not what you're thinking... when my two-year-old comes over to say goodnight now (Daddy does the bathtime bit, which allows me to jump on CoX ) I have to make my 'little lady' wave at him at least ten times before he goes off to bed.* I think she's now second favourite to In The Night Garden for his viewing of choice.
*Not whilst in the middle of a mission/killing spree, obviously. I wait until he's gone to bed for that - can't really picture myself doing the "What's the little lady doing? Oh, she's blasting the little man's head with a machine-gun, darling" talk just yet...!

Ha! All you need to do now is make a toon that looks like Igglepiggle and then, Why is Igglepiggle lying on the floor mummy? Because Igglepiggle got blown up by a zombie suicide bomber. Funny, yes. Tears all night, yes. Then you could do the same with a Santa character and one for the tooth fairy.

Awesome!
I eagerly await your range of child psychology books!
Brawling Cactus from a distant planet.
Gimme a gun, and I'd WILLINGLY put Igglepiggle down.
But I'd turn aside from such a task to take out Stephanie, Robby Rotten, Sportacus, and the rest of the Lazy Town bunch! *shudder*
Sometimes, having young children isn't all it's cracked up to be!

We'll see about that!
I'm pretty sure if I suggested to my nephew that he should dress up as a robot there'd be no changing him back afterwards (my daughter is still a little small to appreciate cyborgs, although her favourite book is "That's not my Robot").
*note to self, find a cyborg outfit for a 4 year old boy*

Igglepiggle on the other hand is creepy, I could honestly see it being the monster from a Japanese horror movie, the spirit of a dead kid or something, that kills because it wants friends.....

With my 5 year old I have to tell her I'm arresting naughty men. That way it's okay to be shooting them with fireball, guns etc. Though she did ask the other day how the man leaning against the wall was being naughty...
It's a bit more difficult when I'm playing a villain and robbing a back. ho hum.

We built this city on Rock and Roll!
That I've spent £404.55 on subscriptions alone for City of Heroes over the course of 3 and a half years, including 5 months on a second account. Now, add in the two GvE editions for another 29.98, CoV for £29.99, CoH for £29.99, £5.99 for the wedding pack, and £23.98 on 10 slots, and that's a grand total of...£524.68.
... It -really- adds up, doesn't it?
