Doeasn't matter, they are both Nemesis automatons.

I really should do something about this signature.

Just a quick note to add that Evo Radio and Music World Radio will be providing coverage of this fun event, hope you can tune in!

Should be another fun time, I remember fondly Mother's Love's Halloween Masquerade Ball last year and it's always great to see community events like these

Hope everyone taking part has a great time!

Is the race mandatory to enter the costume contest? are invented costume parts allowed? Must one be level 1 to enter the costume contest or is level 6 okay too? I dont see how being a few levels higher could affect the outcome if that is the case.

Posted

No the race is not mandatory for the costume contest afterwards, invented costume pieces are allowed, and any level is allowed and eligible for entry (if you think the design is horror/halloween specific enough) - a great concept, name + biography can only help.

Is tomorrow night! - Got your strategy worked out yet?, think your cunning masterplan will wipe the floor with all others?

PsIf anyone can think of any exploits we may of missed - nows the time!).

I thought that already was the plan.

The race sounds fun, but I wont take part myself because A) All my slots on Union are already full with level 14-18 villains and B) I tend to lag a lot more red-side than I do in CoH (related to the higher level of detail in graphics there).

My characters are all logged out at the unversity in Cap au Diable though, so I just might log in and watch as the racers run up there...

Posted

You could buy more slots! [insert convincing sales pitch here] - you may need them come Issue 13 anyhow? - and theres a nice prizefund!, ... and if that doesnt convince you - there will be sweeties Arctic Man!

...and yes MDC, if you look at the last couple of posts you will see the exploration badges required to be gained en route, as well as a walkthrough guide on where to find them.

I'll be around for marshalling Mumsie, if you need it. With my Necro/Dark MM, rather appropriately.

Otherwise I'll just hit "Random" a few times and unleash something that should not be upon the race, hopefully winning by blinding my foes with the mismatched colours and vile costume combinations I spew forth.

I shan't be running the race, I'll be far more interested by spending my second wedding anniversary with my wife, cooking the evening meal, and things I shan't mention here. *smirks*

I wish everyone who participates the very best fortune, may your glory be everlasting.

i'll try making it with a little runner... provided i get there in time. ;D

Just for clarification the start is at 9pm, but people will be gathering and listening to the address, the rules, and milling about socialising from 8pm. If you can prepare a toon up to level 4 (and your cunning choice of build) tonight and log out at the starting line ready for tomorrow night then thats fine.

[EDIT]: Congratulations on the 2nd Aniversary of your blissful Incarceration His_Hairiness. Hope the cooking goes as planned

so i hope i can enter the costume contest ...

is there a lvl restriction on the costume contest btw?

No restrictions on the cossie contest other than it must be horror themed.

(notices time)
"Gawd!, I'd better get going... been in the back garden putting the finishing touches to the prizes together!"

See you at the starting line!

Cheers for organising that Mumsy and helpers - darn good fun! And gratz to all the winners - well done all.

Just glad that I wasn't Deaf racer - what an eejit... he ought to be posting in the 'dumbest things' thread...

phew.. think that removed any hint of suspicion that I am indeed the eejit.

Well done to everyone who participated, my sorrow to Deaf racer who arrived at the finish line to find out they had missed a badge. We feel for you.

Yea.. I had a Great Time. Got abit worried when I entered Grandville and noticed my jump pack not recharged yet..
Then getting it to work.. and doing a daring jump from the tangle.. .. and failing.
When Grandville was under attack of zombies.
Did not help that the music that was played on Evo was very .. adrenaline making
..
ah.. standing on a ridge fighting a zombie until it once again got recharged.. the suspense
(Loved every minute of it)

So once again, Thanks Mother and all overseers for a Great Event

Was there any prizes for the highest placed evil day-time TV presenter?
