I'd like the ability to assign rewards to killing certain bosses/completing certain objectives e.g Kill a boss -> get a purple/unique recipe , but this is only dreaming, but i'd still like to assign erwards for completing the mission or doing a certain objective

I think it's more likely they'll just use the drop tables we currently have, so that you'd have to make a TF before you could use the Tf reward table and so on.

I hope we can add things like at the end of the Hess TF and general 'This base will self destruct in...' moments. Obviously you'd have to find the exit otherwise theres not much threat....not like I need to point that out but I'm going to anyway.

I'm woundering about what rules there would be for the villian groups like could we make a map with lvl 50 Hellions or Skulls? or could villians make arcs with villian groups like outcasts or Skulls to help them get the badges, maybe each side to use villian groups they don't normaly fight like villians fighting Fir bolg and heroes fighting Slag golems etc..

I will be extremely surprised if player missions will help count towards people's badges in that way. WAY too exploitable.

I doubt they'll count for XP or inf either, or at a nerfed rate. Mind you, by that theory, they won't count for debt either.

If the devs are feeling *really* nice, mind, then they may "adopt" some of the best player-created missions and arcs in new patches.

If they don't count for xp, inf, or badges...then they won't count for much; very few people will play them past one or two for novelty value.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't offer exactly the same rewards as the average newpaper mission.

Aye, which is why I think we'll see more as a "newspaper mission with settable parameters" than an actual mission creator / editor. Which is a shame.

well this was a heated discussion a while ago, if they leave rewards on they will gut the creativity as they will have to limit it to what Carni describes, glorified paper missions, or they can take out any rewards at all (including mobs counting to wards badges etc) and let us have pretty much free reign.

no idea which way they would go though.

Yup, Cass_ is absolutely right.

Personally, I would play a rewardless mission, if it was interesting, whereas a newspaper type mission that gave rewards, I wouldn't bother with.
