The dominant side has got to know when to back off, or else they risk the weaker side leaving and ending the fun.

Yeah, and like that happens a lot

Which is why the PvP zones are often empty - some players just never learn

And others try to beat the learning curve with a stick

Happens constantly in defiant sirens call.. But switching sides doesnt mean it will be in balance, normally it just tilts completely in the other direction. Too bad I dont have RV lvl villains yet so I can't switch there.

I personally liked today when we (2 MM's, A Stalker and a Corruptor) were accused of ruining the game by staying near the base whilst 11 other heroes pounded us. (Including one doing the old 'Bomb the Hospital' bug that was petitioned back in I6).

[/ QUOTE ]

Something that drives me nuts that. And even when pushed right up as close as they can, if you drone them its a torrent on abuse over broadcast.

This behavior makes me chuckle, if i'm on the losing end of this, I'd quite happily enquire "Would any of you step out and face 11 heroes?..... That's right, I thought not"

As a rule, I tend to stand back from a clear ganking and/or changes sides to balance.

It only drives you nuts if you actually care what they say.

It does annoy you when they pin your MM/Corr/Dom in the hospital and are unable to leave the zone without Pocket D.

Yes, the drones are there to make a line not to be crossed. If youre heavily outnumbered its only normal they get droned. Most decent people Ive met in sirens back off and let the opposition to move out from base.

Remember if someone goes over the border in verbal abuse, petition.

I know there should be a better way to exit the zone if you want to leave but untill then you can always just log off and then back in again and exit the zone while the PvP counter is still ticking.

how do people manage to get stuck in base anyway, if the opposition are waiting outside whats the big deal, i geenrally go straight past em, after all travel powers are there for a reason, same when leaving the zone, an orange insp can help gainst tp foe or just use rest, everntually they realise it doesnt work and give up.

Try and run thru 6 MMs and u will see how getting stuck in base is really easy

Posted

Oh well, guess u can always use temps, or eat 30 insps, but that's not way

As an aside, looks like we might be shaping up a bit of a rumble between the heroes and villains in RV.

Come along, and join the fun! (and lets try and keep it balanced )

There's a well known bug in the Villains base in Sirens where you can actually avoid any of the drones and stay within range of the hospital. Locks will appear before you get out and 'flyby' attacks can be launched before you have chance to see them.

To get out, you have to bypass this and reach the helicopter whilst under fire.

A similar, but less effective one exists in the Hero Base where MM pets can swarm the drones, eliminating 4-5, but the 6th gets through and can attack at will as long as they stay in the safe zone.

Then again, you can stand on the ledge above the Hero hospital, and the villain one does have a back door that nobody seems to know about...

Can't get you to the chopper though, and you think about the repercussions if 'Rebellion' is ever released and MM's ever become good?

(And does TP Auto Turret spring to mind?)

But what you can do is head away from the base and break target lock, then leg it to the helicopter.

Was about to mention that, do so few people know about that? I just assumed it was added after i7 since the multiple exits was so popular in RV as it helps prevent crowding the opposing side's base and ganking whateven comes through the main door?
