Another long day.
Big Lunk started his day as usual, storming through a longbow fortress on a standard aquisition contract, when he gets a call from Echo Hammer, who says she thinks she may be pregnant.
Lunk drops what he's doing and heads back to their appartment, where they talk about it, and decide to have the pregnancy terminated. Echo heads to the hospital in Nerva to get a pregnancy test done, and if need be, book an appointment for a termination.
Echo phones Lunk to tell him its possitive, and she heads back to the appartment to try and come to terms with it. Lunk comes to terms with it by heading back to that Longbow fortress and beating the [censored] out of everyone in it.

Later in the day, an old aquaintence, Mugon, who'd just heard Lunk was back in the isles, contacts him through the comms network, and apon finding out that He's trying to drag EVIL back up on its feet, he asks to have his status reinstated.

Later in the evening, at D's, Lunk, Echo and Feme Feline and a few other patrons are approached by a member of the Freakshow gang, Bash-n-smash, looking for an EVIL member, Tormentress. Echo denies any knowledge of her, the others refuse to talk, and Lunk agrees to answer where Tormentress is if Bash answers his question. Bash agrees to the deal, but doesnt hang around to answer once asked "how slowly do you want to die?"
They also meet a canadian hero called spearmint, who Lunk considers "Alright for one of the newer capes... atleast he aint spouting the usual self rightuos bulls**t"

Lunk and Echo later retreat to a queiter spot, and talk about the pregnancy. Echo reveals she hadnt booked the apointment for an abortion, and was having confusing maternal feelings. Lunk tries to explain how bringing up a kid in the isles is a bad idea, but said he'll want to settle down one day away from it all. Echo starts talking about how she'd be a terrible mother, as she's a sadistic murdering psychopath.
Echo cries into Lunk's lap, and they decide they'll go to the clinic first thing in the morning.
Echo heads back to the bar, and Lunk goes to the bathroom, and cries in one of the toilet cubicles.

Back at the bar, Lunk finaly agrees to Echo's request of scarring a tatoo into her stomach, and they head off to the appartment, where Lunk burns a crude runic tatoo into flesh with the blade of his bayonet. He claims the runes, which he'd learnt a basic understanding of from an old coleuge, Freakfire, symbolise "...authorative strength and victory.... femeninity and the occult... and partnership.."

Last night/This Morning at Pocket D!:

Number Nine turned up and spoke to Vigilante Storm and Love Angel, and complimented Diana on her new hero costume. Chatting about various things, including mysterious (wo)men in black visits, Vigilante then said something to the two by accident, and after explaining wanted them not to mention this to anyone. Nene agreed, and so did Diana. After some more chat, Vigilante headed off, and told Diana to 'tell Tyger', which lead to a chat between the gynoid and the teen hero about Tyger, love and verious things. When Diana got upset about Coile and Sword of Truth's disappearnce and not hearing from them, Nene did her best to comfort Diana with hugs and as much advice as she could give. Diana told Nene that she thought Nene would make a good mother, because she was so caring. This brought a smile to Nene's face, and after a brief talk about happy dreams, Diana left to head home.

Nene went upstairs, and as well as seeing The Telepath, Arrow Striver, Dark Blow and some others, she bumped into Grav Mistress who was wearing a nice dress, duly complimented on. The two began to chat about work and things over a drink, before Jess got talking to Stupid Ninja and Nene headed to the bar to get a new drink, overhearing conversations about Crey from Wolvette and Swift Claw.

Jess joined Nene again later, and Nene mentioned she was pondering love related things. Tigergirl arrived and also complimented Jess on her choice of outfit, and got introduced to Nene, who talked about living with Doctor Temporis, who then appeared a while later. Leaving Jess and Yoko (Tigergirl) to chat, Nene greeted Doc and started to chat with him about hotels, mints on pillows which then sparked off an idea for some kind of steampunk mint-producing machine, and relationships, including Nene's initial trouble with her Hormonal Emulation System. After finishing her drinks, Nene bid goodnight to Doc, who also left, and she went home to the Laboratory to sleep.

Right, havent done a recap in a while so bear with me if its bad

Yesterday

Iris arrived at the statue to find Sophie and Cloe talking about sleep and the lack of it they had been getting recently, and pretty much no-one else.

Sophie left shortly afterwards along with the few people there, leaving Cloe and Iris alone to chat.

Alfred arrived after a while so the two girls decided to have a little jokethat consisted of water balloons. Unfortunately Alfred was being a spoilsport and put up a barrier, keeping himself dry. By that time Wynd had arrived and Alfred moved over to put his barrier around both of them. Iris decided that was no fun and teleported a waterballoon inside the barrier above Wynd, getting her very wet. Cloe then threw another waterballoon towards alfred, which he telekinetically threw back, and Iris blocked it with herself, getting drenched in the process.

After a few more jokes about getting people wet, and general chatting (during which Meadows Vengance arrived), Alfred and Wynd decided to leave to head off to Pocket D.

This left the three women alone and Iris grew worried about Cloe as V proceeded to do something to allow Cloe to sleep. As Iris questioned V about what was happening, and receiving pretty much no answers, she grew angry and stormed off to Pocket D.

At Pocket D she asked Arc and Jack about which drink would get her very drunk very fast. Both produced very strong liquers of which Iris proceeded to consume vast ammounts (beating Arcs record for his drink, which was apparently enough to make the entire american army drunk, which Iris then commented about being 'weak').

After she decided to stop, the drink started to take effect and she turned rather silly and giggly, she even managed to confuse a bar stoool for a kitten. Refusing the advice of people to lie down or sit down, she stubbornly swayed where she was, eventually being led over by Alfred to try and send her home to sleep.

Stubbornly still staying awak and standing up, she staggered back to the bar proceeded to play about with the empty glasses (spelling the word 'Hi'). Alfred, after telling Arc off, gave Iris another drink with some oxygen pills dropped into it.

After sobering up abit Iris went to sit on a stool and waited for Cloe to arrive, who had told her to wait there for her to come over. Arc in the mean time trying to get her to go home by telling her that there was a cat trying to start a party inside her flat, and failing miserably.

Cloe arrived after a short while, along with Marina (Swift Claw), and then proceeded to find out about why Iris had run off to get stupidly drunk. Iris became increasingly emotional as she talked, eventually leading to Iagador taking over her body so she wouldnt have a break down. Cloe then asked why Iagador had done that and other questions.

After a while Iris surfaced again and she and Cloe proceeded to have a private chat. Things were resolved and they headed back to the bar. Iris was introduced to Marina and they chatted with about what had happened to her, Iris soon becoming lost in the conversation and talking to Stupid Ninja and (after a while) Wolvette. It was eventually settled taht Iris would look after Marina that night, as she had no where to go, and that Cloe would spend the night somewhere she could get some proper sleep.

After talking some more about how Iris might need to calm Marina down, Iris showed Marina her Dwarf form so as to protect herself if it came to that. More chattage went on untill Iris was feeling tired and she decided to show Marina the way to her home, since it was closer thatn Cloe's. After getting inside and explaining that the bomb remanents scattered around the living room were harmless and putting some extra security around the flat, she started to make the sofa up for herself, letting Marina use her bed instead.

After Iris pointied out the basics and apologised for the basicness of it all the two girls headed off to bed.

Sunday Night

As Sarah was broken-down, she did not go to Pocket D. Oddly enough, her dimensional double, Fallen Patriot, better known as Sarah2, turned up and spoke to Arrow Flame. Arrow Flame was puzzled as to why Sarah2 didn't recognise him, but he found out in the end. Shortly after, Roselin Thorne arrived, and talked to Sarah2 about Sarah1. Sarah2 explained that she was feeling upset, and that this was because of Sarah1. Roselin decided she needed to talk to Sarah1, so she tried to contact her over Sarah1's comm unit.

Sarah1 just said "I'm sorry" and hung up, so Roselin decided she should go to Sarah1's house to check on her, hugging Sarah2 as she left (making Sarah2 feel a little forlorn in the process), leaving her with Arrow Flame and the inconspicuous Blackrun, known only as 'Mort'. After a few conversations, and the occasional sad glance at Ebon Tear, Sarah2 left.

Over at the Patriot residence, Roselin was conforting Sarah1 and helping her feel better. Sarah1 promptly fell asleep in her embrace. This morning, Sarah1 left Roselin to sleep and leap across Paragon to an unknown location to think and access her current situation.

Later that night, Sarah2 decided to go back to Giza in St. Martial, when she stumbled upon Nightschild, better known as Nick. After a breif conversation, they decided to team up, as Nick said he might need a friend to watch his back. After beating up some Circle of Thorns in a *groan* sewer, they had to part ways. Nick suggested that Sarah2 spend the night at the Giza, and that he would pay to repay her for the work she helped him with. She didn't like the idea until Nick mentioned:

In which Sarah2 agreed. They headed back to the Giza, and that was the day over.

(As a sidenote, Sarah2 picked a red-head. I'm looking at you, Roselin! )

Another hectic day for Echo, shesh where to start...
First of all the comms were going crazy when she woke up Laugh Riot and Big Lunk gloating about destroying full platoons of Nemesis in the Shadow shard, Echo as her curious self tagged along her first time in the shard she asked Lunk quite a few curious questions and then got down to business after the contract was fulfilled Riot then had been asked to go 'into the future' Echo and Lunk turned it down.. shortly after Echo headed home and had an afternoon nap.

Echo was awakened later on and went to D's with Lunk to find Tormentress in a pretty bad state, hair a mess and bloodshot eyes aswell as her right hand beaten up badly, she described that shes been on the run the past few days and broke up an arms deal between Arachnos and the Freakshow not for good, but to take the weaponary for herself, both factions have been looking for her the past few days. Echo was worried in the end she gave Tress a keycard to her and Lunks apartment telling her shes welcome there. Tress later headed off, seeming slightly paranoid about the situation. Echo and Lunk then talked for a bit about it all, he was fearful a squad of Bane spiders would bust into their apartment looking for her, she didnt seem to care and Lunk left in an uneasy state.

Echo talked to Night-Scope for some time about business at D's random talkings about pay but her mind was elsewhere and she certantly isnt the business woman type. She finished her drink and headed to base hearing that Riot had returned from his trip 15 years into the future, Echo seemed to walk in at the wrong time hearing that she was dead within 15 years she ran away angry and sat alone. Riot left and Lunk came to comfort her she eventually calmed down and began talking to Lunk about their wedding he desperatly wants the ceromony on the 14th but Echo said that too much is going on, they talked and talked eventually coming to an agreement that it was going to be private, no guests and still scheduled for the 14th agreeing that the party would be the coming Sunday ( ) in Pocket D's. Echo then left for home, tired and mentally exhausted.

Last night Roselin was at PD and met with Sarah2 and talked a bit with her... admittedly mostly about Sarah1...
Roselin also managed to make fun of Arrow Flame a bit

As she headed to the side to contact Sarah1 on her descrete com device she was given for testing and was found useful.. Mort tried to chat Roselin up. She accomodated it a little but was mostly not in the mood for teasing and left to talk with Sarah1. She did realise after the fact that hugging Sarah2 wasn't the best thing, for either of them.

In Paragon, Sarah was quickly allowed to enter by a worried father. Knowing her to be a friend of Sarah and an aquantance of good repute with him (at least I assume). Roselin having emotional bagage of that weekend herself (in IC story thread later!) pushed her own worries aside as she tried her best to comfort and help Sarah.

Meeting the parents the following morning was a little awkward, though... Still, she thinks she helped.

Last night was a busy night in the Rogue Isles. The rough collection of former Crey test subjects that make up the group known as Primal met for further assignments. Having acquired a lucrative task for the team, Lady Silverwing , Brangus , It and Aufeis took it upon themselves to eliminate a large gathering of the Legacy Chain and permanently retire their leader. Knowing that Aufeis’ innocence must soon break, the group conspired to make sure that she was left to make the killing blow. Feigning weakness in front of the enemy, Aufeis duly delivered the fatal stroke, killing their victim outright. It was a beautiful moment in the eyes of the team, watching one of their kind finally embrace the way of the assassin. She was upset and confused and remained quiet for the rest of the journey.

After dismembering an opportunistic group of Coralax and debating whether they could be sold as fish meat, Aufeis and Lady Silverwing went to Pocket D, mainly for Aufeis’ sake as she clearly needed a stiff drink after her first kill. The pair lingered in the bar near some gathered heroes, Silverwing showing an unusually kind streak in counselling the poor girl after the event and recalling her first kill those many moons ago.

The mood was broken though by the arrival of the android TRACOR – 005 who had caused much injury to the ranks of the Militia supergroup a month ago. Vigilante Storm faced off with the menace, causing the temperature in the club to drop several degrees under extreme weather conditions. Realising that the dampening field in the club prevented them from furthering any sort of confrontations, the machine propositioned those villains present with a lucrative opportunity. Making sure that Aufeis had now left so she didn’t hear the grisly details of contract negotiation, Silverwing spoke with TRACOR. The machine stated that his employer was keen to see several members of the Militia taken down or otherwise inconvenienced while he carried out his plot. Relishing such an opportunity, Silverwing negotiated a price and said that she would raise the issue with her brethren in Primal. Quite content with the evening, she was ready to retire when the small creature named Zorbak mentioned the contract in front of one of the Militia’s more prominent members. Realising that they may not have a heads up on the operation, Silverwing beat a hasty retreat to consider further strategy and gather intelligence.

Last night...

Roselin found Sarah1 moping in Pocket D and they chatted a bit. They talked about this and that before Sarah asked Roselin to help her retrieve something from a lockbox or something. Sarah wasn't paying much attention during the briefing, but they went and kicked Arachnos behind. Then Roselin picked the lock like an expert (well, she is ) and they could go.

Afterwards, Sarah helped Roselin with her side of the story, saving the world side by side

Later they were having their victory drinks and chatted some more.
X-Savior and Velvet Spider came and chatted along too (thought Velvet was rather quiet), X was a bit grouchy, and growly at anyone he didn't know, so...
Ah well, after the testosterone had settled a bit he came after the ladies who had moved away.

More chatting, topic of the evening seemed to be Shydow's status as Sarah's boyfriend...
After a bit Roselin and Sarah went to 'the powder room', and had a private chat. Which lasted long enough for X-Savior to get worried.

Last Night for Soph:

Posted on here cause none was really at statue Soph went down to Alfred's leaving party, had a lot of fun including the pink commissar, arachnos Volt, ninja Kit and all the other costumes around the place, although slightly annoyed because someone had the same dress as her

She spent a lot of time sitting around by herself, slightly unwilling to make conversation and no-one talking to her in return. After a while she went to go an help Iris with finding Arc, or later Volt and then 'making them beautiful' which was good fun until Soph shrugged and left, feeling bad generally about her medication etc. etc.

After saying good-bye to Alfred she went to the bar and had a brief talk with X-Saviour and Arc, who revealed why she had been getting so much attention from Sarah2 of late. Apparently one of her best friends highly possibly cheating girlfriend's double ganger from another dimension had been in a relationship with a Sophie (hereby known as Sophie 2) in her dimension who died about a year and a half ago. Hence when Sarah2 arrived here and Soph is still alive Sophie started witnessing things like...

Last night for US Angel...

US Angel decided to accept Alfred's invitation to his leaving party and made an appearance at the Tower. Rather than wear a costume she decided on a stylish deep purple dress, figuring if anyone did have an issue she would say she had turned up as a high class ******.

US Angel had noticed a blond woman seemingly annoyed that both US Angel and herself were wearing similar dresses, but consoled herself with the fact that the other womans dress was far more "tarty" than hers!

Last night:

Iris turned up at Alfreds leavers do and had a few sweet snacks before heading over to where everyone was gathering and chating. After spotting Arc she decided that he needed to be taught a lesson as he hadnt learnt about listening to her.

Arc decided to run away after Iris pulled out the rope, prompting a little chasing to be done, where he lost both his shoes. Iris gave up the fight and filled his shoes with creepy crawlies as condolance. She then went to browse the bookshelves and ended up tieing up Volt master instead after he wouldnt tell her what book he was looking at, then calling her "Heavy".

Afterwards she then wandered about abit, still full of sugar and energy, finding Arc and telling him that he was safe from her that evening. Arc didnt trust her and when Volt showed there followed a short scene of both of them trying to hide behind the other and asking for the other to 'save' them.

Things then went abit funny and Volt started shooting at Arc (once again) and Iris asked wether he would shoot her next, in a little joke. This being Volt, he shot at her leg and she dodged it, saying how she knew he wouldnt. Volt shot again, aiming for her stomach and she managed to jump quickly, only getting hit in the arm.

After going back and recieving a little help from Kit, in the form of a first aid kit and tying her bandages for her, she headed off home. Just a little burned out from the sugar rush of the evening.

Arc went to PD to unwind for a bit,talked to Love Angel only to find out his girlfriend didnt seem to be coming back ever...on Valantines...*cough*

Basically I want to start a new African American toon called Blackflag. He'd be a super patriot in the vein of Captain America, but I wanted to know if the name offended anyone first?

Echo and Lunk spent the day in London, along with Echos Sister, Ice and Lunks old Commander, Telburn. Oh and alot of semi Meta-Human guardsmen

Also unrelated but a big congratulations to Big Lunk and Echo Hammer!

I certainly don't have any problems with it, but I think you did right in checking with teh big B first. Can't hurt, right? Some people can be oversensitive about these things.

Nightsparrow Attacked! - 14.02.07

Posing as police, the leader of the New Mafia, Pistol, flanked by her twin sister Falcon Blitz, a loyal friend Dual Cannon and a dozen enforcers, infiltrated the heavily-guarded penthouse holding the accused vigilantee, Nightsparrow. It was a shocking operation, with three police officers who were under Pistol's payroll able to grant access by forged ID's. Why? Aparantly, she wants Coile dead, for standing up against her in Pocket D several months ago. She had a gun to the hero's head, during New Mafia's invasion of Sirens Call last December but it seems death by the bullet was too easy. Pistol vowed to kill everyone the man cares about, starting with his wife, Nightsparrow who is with child.

However, Pistol overstayed her visit. The Silent Tempest, the Militia and the real Police were soon alerted and Pistol's men were forced to retreat. When Nightsparrow revealed that she would have been happy to work a deal, Pistol refused to leave without learning of her proposal. However, Nightsparrow refused to talk, so Pistol attacked her. Even while pregnant, the expert martial artist dodged the kick-boxer's strikes effortlessly but oddly refused to retaliate. At which point the Police emptied a hailstorm of bullets upon the Mafia crimeboss. Unfortunately, the bullets simply ricochette off her energy force field, killing two officers and servely wounding three other persons. Several objects around the room were struck and three glass windows shattered in an instant. Pistol escaped through an open window, flying through the air in the cover of Falcon Blitz's lingering cloud of darkness.

The corrupt officers have been identified as Detective Carl Fortune, Officer Macey Jones and Officer Eric Newton who are now under police arrest. Athough the Police Chief promises that there was no way of knowing about the case, FBI have begun yet another investigation into the PPD Police Department in Founders Falls. - Andre Hepburn, Hero Magazines.

Well, the black flag is the symbol of anarchy* - which is what I thought of, and that doesn't offend me...

*At least, it was of the anarchist faction in the Spanish Civil War...

i wouldn't have a problem with it myself, then again i don't remember seeing many coloured superheroes in the game.. but i might be too busy to notice them.
