Last night, Python's Breath was robbed by Carrion Paw for exactly 5,000,050 dollars, tricked to drink vodka, downed a entire bottle of Jack Daniels in one and questioned just about anything he could, before slithering off. (Carrion tricked him out of his money by saying it was poison...Oh how i love having flip sided characters)

Just keep it secret from the rest of Primal, they're getting greedy these days...! On other matters:

The Banshee Alone

Having caught word of the Red Caps’ attempts to draw Salamanca through into the Netherworld, The Amber Banshee drew together the forces of the Militia to defend the town. An assembled force of The Portent, Masked Angel, Speedie, Arrow Flame, Shydow Flysh, Seph Reet, Lady Patriot and Em-Pulse took a stand against the Caps, defending the town’s mystic centre as a ritual took place to secure it in this reality. What followed was a massacre, the Militia suffering severe casualties in their attempts to defend the populace. Tempers were frayed as they fought, Amber losing hers several times, causing her to switch briefly into her Fey form. But before the last defenders fell, the ritual ended, locking the town back into place. However, as the bruised and battered heroes gathered themselves together, the Red Caps were able to gain one last victory.

Stressed from pressures at university, a failed relationship, her recent changes and unused to the pressures of leadership, the Amber Banshee finally broke. Fleeing the team, she ran to Talos Island where she sat outside of her apartment and let her misery consume her. Several team members attempted to contact her and encourage her to come back to the base but even the offer of Slix’s home-made cookies couldn’t persuade her. She eventually disconnected the comms unit and fled to a distant island that she had discovered after Coile and Nightsparrow’s wedding. As the sun set, she lay on the beach and fell asleep, the broken shell of what was once a bright young girl.

Nene got very, very angry about that. Especially as nearby hero Lady Patriot didn't even bat an eyelid. Good thing she has more patience than the average person!

Last night, Girl Gyronaut drank a hell of a lot of cola, annoyed and got annoyed by Blackrun and left in a rather upset state when Blackrun started to plle on the 'Justin Timberhate'. I now need to ritually cleanse myself in fire for saying that JT is 'totally dreamy'.

Jan Boa arrived at the bar and was mostly quiet, getting into a little discussion about fighting with Stygian Minx and Rapacity before heading off to do whatever snake women do.

Number Nine arrived in her battle armour and nodded to Echo Hammer and Big Lunk, ordering a glass of wine before heading to the other bar to chat to Roselin Thorne, Lady Patriot, Nightschild, Rapacity and sensed Carrion Paw eyening up her non-existant pockets.

Heading to another bar as it was getting rather crowded, again, Nene got increasingly adgitated by Carrion Paw decieving Python's Breath, and went off to sulk and drink her wine. Rather muchly, may I add. ORdering another, she got talking to Rapacity, who was rather put off by her machineness until they started to get to know one another, and Silvana realised that Nene wasn't actually that bad. After a while of conversation, the two parted ways to head to bed, Nene bidding goodnight to Arrow Flame.

hehe, i loved that, and then Carrion turning Python on her and saying she gave him the vodka labelled as orange juice

So...that wasnt orange juice? uh oh...i have some familys to inform...

thought id add this bit on:

After saying goodbye to Number Nine , Arc descided he would check the other bar, where he saw Dustine, which shocked him being the night before he thought she was never coming back, they talked about a few bits a pieces to catch up (not seeing each other for over a month does that) and then went off and got a hotel room to stay the night.

Last night...

Roselin had dressed up to go to Pocket D, why? Who knows, she'd probably say it was a random decision, other might say differently. Sat at the bar, waiting for people... any people she would say, others might say differently. Sarah arrived first (not counting the lot speeding by) and there was a tense moment... but it soon passed and they chatted amicably about their day and... the day before.
They were both pleasantly surprised by the other's gifts, though Roselin thought the forget-me-not was a bit over the top but Sarah quite liked it.
Before long Mort came along and joined in the chatting, which turned mostly to him (but whose fault is that?) and people came dribbling in to the bar.
In time, Sarah became uncomfortable with the amount of people, so Rose suggested to move to the side, which they did and talked a bit more before Roselin dragged Sarah off to the dance floor to teach her some moves

Sarah's balance learned in combat and such made her a good student, if a bit uncomfortable. But she learned fast and the two quite enjoyed the dancing and light chatting.

After a while, they left the dance floor to get a drink, and met with Nick and some others. Nene showed up as well.
That being devoid of a tender, Sarah suggested Roselin take the position again, which she did and poured drinks for people.

I can't really remember topics... but chatting was being done, Carrion Paw was trying his trade on Nene, showed his produce to Rapicity? Nick asked Sarah if she had cheered up (and if Roselin had anything to do with it ) which she had (Roselin's flowers on Valentines and the dance went a long way) And that Zeyna hadn't been around to get her present. This made Roselin a little nervous and got a shaky left hand... but maintained that she was fine.
Before long the crowed moved to the Monkey bar.
Though Rose and Sarah were a little later as Rose was tending to one last patron.
When they arrived, Nick of course couldn't help but ask a very leading question, which was answered with a 'no comment'

Roselin took Nick aside for a moment to explain her shaky hand, she has a problem with wanting to possess pretty jewellery. So she told Nick to keep a watchful eye and slap her if need be, should she make a move on the gem.

Once back, more random chatting. Sarah claimed to have RWS (Rose Withdrawal Symptoms) when Roselin asked "did you miss me?"
During the random chatting, Paw was making his fortune and Sarah moved in to hold Rose's hand, ending up leaning against her and resting her head on Rose's shoulder.
They moved to sit on a sofa, cuddling. Arc found them there and chatted a little with them, also saying he wouldn't tell Shydow Arc did offer drinks, but when he conjured up (or recalled or what ever) a glass of wine for Rose, she didn't accept on the grounds of involved magic
Sarah was acting a little weird as she sat cuddled with Roselin, claiming a head ache, though it was probably something to do with Sarah2 (or perhaps Roselin? )
It did eventually get the attention of Nick who was over at the bar chatting with Jemma.
Light but persistant teasing ensued before Sarah went to powder her nose, and as Roselin was feeling the call of nature too, she went with her.

Saturday Night:

An eventful night for Sarah. It started okay. She had just gotten off duty and spotted Shydow Flysh at the bar, and decided to go and see him. He gave her a lovely Valentines gift; a never melting rose made of ice. They then moved to another bar to talk. Sarah had been dreading this talk all week, and needed to confess to Shydow what she had been doing with a certain red-head. He spoke to her about his past, and why he left Karral. He started saying how bad he was at being a boyfriend, to which Sarah told him she was worse.

That's when it started going downhill. She told him about her relationship with the Mysterious Red-Head and he didn't take it well. He just said nothing. No reaction. He left, saying:
[ QUOTE ]
Well, I guess it's my fault, can't be angry at you, eh! So, maybe another talk, in a few days? Yes, that sounds good!

[/ QUOTE ]

He promptly ran off, leaving Sarah completely and utterly crushed. She went down to the lower bar to cry, when Nightschild, or Nick, came to greet her. After screaming "Why can't I stop <effing> things up..? Every single time.. Every single <EFFING> time!" and kicking a hole in the bar, Nick started to worry. It also drew the attention of Arrow Flame and Ebon Tear, who tried to help best they could. Arrow Flame was far from helpful, but he had good intentions.

Sarah burst out crying, telling Nick that the week's events had finally gotten to her. Roselin Thorne telling her she was one of two, and she was still with Ms. Behave, Shydow's obviously depressed reaction, the PPD almost arresting her and her recent arguement with her parents. After a little chat, Sarah left to go home and sleep. She's currently avoiding both Roselin and Shydow, and probably will until she sorts things out.

Later that night, a mysterious new-comer arrived at Pocket D. The Drow known as Alvarie was greeting by Nightschild, Arrow Flame, Carrion Paw and Blackrun. She had a conversation with all of them, mostly about magic and aura's. She was particularly interested in Arrow Flame, being an Angel.

She later took a tour of Balthory Castle. Despite some language problems, which were eventually overcome, Alvarie had a good time.

It seems Sarah's life is becoming a soap opera. Curious.

Sunday Night in Pocket D

Roselin was there, sipping her wine, more or less ignoring everyone except for every now and then. Seemed rather sceptical about Feyth's proclimations. Less so about Nick's hostility towards Feyth.
At some point she switched to vodka.

Sarah2 showed up, being rather excitable...
They talked a bit, trying to keep a tv person/probably reporter out of the loop. Then they moved for a better chat.

After a bit Nick left, leaving Roselin and Sarah2 alone.
After a bit, some one came up to Roselin and Sarah2 asking if they were assosiates of Nick. The two women being a bit intoxicated (or a bit more...) the chat was a bit odd.
Seems her boss wanted to talk to Nick, but she brought them instead. The boss, who was the messenger's twin wasn't ammused. Roselin and Sarah2 were, how ever and had lots of fun making fun off 'the mafia' with their 'Godfather' wanting a favour of Nick (but he's not in to older men)
They had some more fun of some of te men looking like they're twins too, before they left.

Back at the bar with a few more drinks, dancing (and falling over), chatting and teasing... before they left PD.

Mary Raynard, Granddaughter of Sophie Raynard, the late Aveneging Fox sat in her room, it had been a good year since her breakout of the Zig, and she'd met someone who made her feel life was worth not giving up on yet.

Outside, she used the name Ms. Behave, as this seemed to fit well with her. Her crime? Assault, resisting arrest, the hospitalization of a hero and a connection to the Skulls, she felt a traitor...

Like her Grandmother, she had bee abused and betrayed by powerful men, unlike her Grandmother, she didn't turn this isn't a positive force for good and right now, she was pretty depressed.

"Arrgh!!" she yelled, laying back on the bed, "I shouldn't be feeling like this, he got what he deserved.."

-Did he?- A voice sounded, her grandmother, looking a lot younger but translucent sat by her. -Poor Mary, don't beat yourself up my dear, what's done is done, and it's good there is still enough good in you to feel remorse for what you did.-

Mary's tears streamed down her cheeks as she closed her eyes "It's not fair..."

-Life rarely is, all you can do is follow what you beleive to be true and roll with the punches-

"I... I can't I just want to die"

-Maybe, but what you want and what you need to do are different. Contact the Sword of Albion, he has my old Armour and sword, use them, but them to good use Mary, fulfill your destiny-

Mary sat up "Grandmother?" She was gone, Mary collapsed sobbing, in the morning she would contact him, and get the armour, and then risk patrolling Paragon, hoping for her life she wasn't discovered.

ok, this is as far as something that happens today for Sophie rather than last night but i thought i might post it now.

Soph's been lying a little bit about this illness of hers, it's not been anything terrible, unable to sleep, headaches, stomach cramps and her magic's messing up a bit. Now, normally, that's fine, it's just a cold or something and that's what she's been telling everyone, but it's been going on now for several weeks and she decided to go into hospital to get it all sorted out, without telling anyone really until last night at the bar, most of whom were villains she'd only just met

As far as how it goes she went in and they had a look around the top levels of her mind since it's already been determined it's not a physical illness. Meaning maybe something's trying to influence her? Left over magic? they're not really sure at the moment. Unfortunately they didn't find anything, meaning that it must be further down and Soph will need a more serious 'operation' tomorrow.

As far as how she feels about it she is scared as hell because it will be the first time someone has been in her mind since she joined the Brotherhood, and she's generally uncomfortable about it anyway. If the doctor does do something wrong, jar the wrong memory etc. it could be very painful for Sophie and could even cause more mental problems or even something more serious depending on the severity of the problem.

If anyone's interested i don't think are many ways most people would know, not even Jack does at the moment since Soph didn't want to go through all the worry.

Rose had such a fun day yesterday...

First she woke up with a hangover, finding out that she (beyond a doubt) did something she wouldn't likely do if she was sober, though doesn't really regret it.

Then as her workday drew to an end.. her communicator flared to life. Mary, got in to a fight and by the sounds of it was likely dead.
As fast as she could, she headed to Paragon (where she knew Mary was) and backtracked her through hospitals to a skyscraper.
Mary was quite shaken by the fight, and what was said before it. She seemed to think all in her life was a lie..
Probably in an effort to find out if Rose was one too, she jumped off the building.
Rose jumped after her, to fly down and catch her, as to Rose's knowledge, Mary had no means of surviving the fall.
Rose was wrong as Mary's new armoured suit was not only heavy, but also had it's own rocket boosters which she used to avoid becoming a pancake. (oh, she was spouting some rather hurtful things too...)
Roselin, however wasn't as lucky. Though she pulled up, her reaction was too late and she hit the pavement rather hardly, rolling for several yards before coming to a stop with plenty bones broken, and only an arachnos teleporter that doesn't work in Paragon City...

Mary was rather shaken up by this too, and took drastic measures to get Rose to a hospital, but broke her out before she could be arrested (or healed) and used a reclimator in Pocket D.

They talked a bit, patching up and such.

Then Nick came over for a chat to Rose, he wasn't happy... Mary left to let them talk.
Sarah2 later dropped by, being rather drunk, though hadn't been drinking enough... Sarah1...
deep joy... Nick went to check on Sarah1, Rose kept an eye on Sarah2 (and held her hair back as she vomitted with Sarah1)

Afterwards Sarah2 and Rose talked about more about personal problems...

DEEP joy...

(( This is broadcasted at 11 am on 21.2.2007 on HERO-FM, a Paragon City radio station dealing with superpowered individuals. ))

Male voice: This is Thomas Nightwish from HERO-FM and I am currently in Atlas Park's Chiron Medical Center attending a press conference. A statement will be given by doctor Jane Bright. Here she is now.

Jane Bright: I am here to confirm a suspected case of a super plague arriving from another dimension. By accounts this disease spreads through the air and is lethal. I can confirm that we have five patients contained in isolation wards. The incubation period is presumed to be short and the disease runs its course in a week. So far we have yet to identify this virus from the samples at our disposal. At least one possible carrier remains at large in the Etoile Islands. We plead anyone with any knowledge of the possible carrier or of those having been in contact with him, to inform the local medical authorities. Updates will be given as we learn more. Now, are there any questions?

Female voice: Erinella Dusk, Power Journal. How were the patients contaminated? Did they visit another dimension where they got it from?

Jane Bright: This seems to be the course of events.

Male voice: Nathan Berkley, Daily Comet. I understood the patients belong to a registered supergroup. Who are they?

Jane Bright: They belong to a single group, yes. As for the name, I am not at a liberty to say.

Nathan Berkley: Is it true that it is the Silent Tempest?

Jane Bright (irritated): I am not at a liberty to say. Speculate one more time and I will have you thrown out of here, is this clear?

<a brief silence>

Jane Bright: Good.

Male voice: Jackson Jackson, the J-mag. How lethal is this disease?

Jane Bright: What was your name again?

Jackson Jackson: Jackson Jackson.

Jane Bright: Your parents must have hated you.

<aughter from others which quickly dies out into an awkward silence as they realize Jane was not making a joke>

Jackson Jackson: Uh...

Jane Bright: The disease by accounts is one hundred percent lethal with no known cure. That is one thing that we aim to change.

Female voice: Eileen Doyle, Paragon Times. What are you currently doing about the situation?

Jane Bright: We are examining the patients and trying to isolate the virus. Once that has been done we will conduct tests to learn the mechanisms by which it works and develop a cure. We also try to contain the possible plague by acquiring all possible carriers under medical supervision.

Male voice: Harrison Ratman, Paragon Inquirer. Is it true that all the patients share the same space regardless of gender?

Jane Bright: I will not answer leading questions which will be misquoted, Mister Ratface. Furthermore if I catch a single word in your publication tarnishing the reputation of my personal self or this hospital I will sue you to the full extent of the law and see your miserable trash tabloid editorial staff incarcerated for slander, do I make myself clear?

<a brief silence>

Jane Bright: Good.

Female voice: Lena Milestone, Medical Anomalies Quarterly. How long do the patients have?

Jane Bright: Before their death you mean. We do not know enough of the virus currently to issue a definite estimate. However the incubation period is expected to be short and the death follows soon after. I would not give them much more than two weeks provided that they are infected and no cure is found.

Nathan Berkley: If one of the Tempest is in the Rogue Isles, he or she is either held captive or is trying to find local medical expertise to aid the supergroup. Which is it? Is it their leader?

Jane Bright (irritated): In the interest of preventing public unrest I have to mention that the missing patient is expected to remain stationary until further notice and not spreading the virus around. I can confirm the missing patient is the leader of the affected supergroup. I will not speculate on his identity.

Female voice: Harriet Kasary, Viral Review Monthly. Will you be handling this on your own or will you acquire expert help from field specialists?

Jane Bright: We have been in talks with experts. Currently a confirmed associate for this case is Mister Star Crusader, coincidentally from the supergroup Silent Tempest. Now, if you excuse me, I have work to do.

Thomas Nightwish: There you have it, listeners. We will be broadcasting updates as they become available. Now back to studio to Dana Strato but before that 'Soulcrash' from Human Alternative. Enjoy the beautifully cascading voice of Nathalie Brissaud. This is HERO-FM and Thomas Nightwish.

(( A television broadcast, sent on a quite a few stations. This takes place about half an hour after the initial announcement. ))

* There is a man in his late thirties looking at a camera. Neat hairdo, reassuring smile to the extent where it has to be a practiced expression. He has a suit on and stands relaxedly, pointedly so. Behind him there is a row of four persons with white coats. Two men, two women. Jane Bright is not among them. *

"Good day. I am Roger Sholder, the public relations manager of Chiron Medical Center. I would like to issue a few clarifications to the statement released earlier by doctor Jane Bright. We will also release certain informations in the interest of reassuring the public that the situation is under control.

As of now there are no confirmed cases of the virus being found. I repeat, so far we cannot confirm any related illness in our patients. It is possible that there is no contamination at all. Further analysis suggests that it is even likely that the plague never entered our world. There is no cause for undue panic.

We can confirm that all the patients in isolation belong to the group Silent Tempest. As of now it appears that they have not been infected, any of them."

* The smile stays but tension can be detected in his stance by those who have an eye for such thing. *

"However we would like three other members of that same group to check in at any medical facility for examination. They are Coile, Subaiku and Kitalia. Also anyone who has been in contact with them during tha last twenty four hours are asked to contact medical personel.

Meanwhile the brightest minds are concentrating their efforts to ascertain the absence of the virus. I hope we can soon announce that the virus never entered our world.

If you have questions there is a hotline number that you can call, or visit the relevant website."

* On screen is displayed a phone number 800-TEMPESTVIRUS and a web address www.tempestvirus.org *

An evening of woe and heartache for Nightschild began with him meeting Arrow Flame and Shydow Flysh in the Arena bar in Pocket D. He overheard Shydow saying how he had really loved Sarah and was genuinely broken about her leaving him- this was news to Nick, along with anyone else who'd heard only Sarah's point of view. Shydow left shortly after, leaving Nick feeling confused and slightly guilty- Nick had played a big part in convincing Sarah that she deserved better than the absentee and seemingly uncarinf Flysh.

Talking with Arc, Nick was surprised to learn that the Militia had not been informed of the fact that Lady Patriot, one of their members, was on the run from the law, having been arrested for the actions of her dopplelganger Fallen Patriot but resisted said arrest. Though not as surprised as the Militia members to hear about it several days after the fact from a supervillain, one would surmise.

Nick's interactions with the other patrons came to an abrupt halt when Zeyna entered the club and told Nick that they needed to talk privately. He had a sinking feeling that he knew what this was about- that Zeyna was going to try and dump him again- but this time, she was pulling no punches.

Nick was told that, simply put, Zeyna liked him but didn't love him, and never had- that she was in love with the idea of him, not Nick himself. She told him that it wasn't fair on him, and he was just being used by her, and that he deserved to be with somebody who loved him and could be with him all the time. He tried to protest, but she was adamant about it and he was too broken up to properly argue. He finally accepted her decision and left, radiating a shadowy cloud of angst and depression.

He was followed out of the Nightclub by Sarah2 (Fallen Patriot) and Blackrun, a Necromancer (Mort) who Nick had met in Pocket D and recruited into the Court of the Blood Countess. Apparently they had sensed the Darak energy he was radiating and came to investigate. He gavve a brief summary of what had transpired, and the three ended up in a bar in the Golden Giza on St. Martial.

Mort had to leave early, so Sarah2 was the one who got to listen to Nick rambling about how he simply wasn't good enough for her, and she'd finally realised that, and he'd been an idiot to believe that anyone could really want a short skinny kid like him. She tried her best to help him cheer up, but that wasn't going to happen so soon after the event and he ended up stumbling into bed in a very depressed state.

Miss Ellie was in Pocket D for a while last night, chatting with Spearmint. There were a few others around (including one total tool), and this ghostly guy turned up... He didn't start his introduction well as he ask if anyone would like him to consume their souls!

Miss Ellie replied with "What are you meant to be? Casper the grumpy ghost?" to which he replied, rather hautily, that he wasn't grumpy and that his name was Nitrok.

Of course, after such a reaction, he was now called Casper by everyone, and probably will be forever now!

After a bit, the conversation started to go in the direction of "Mine's bigger than yours!" with "Casper" and a few others, and Ellie quickly put a stop to that with a rather well placed remark that, alas, I cannot quote on the family friendly forums! She WAS rather smug about it though, and Spearmint was also grinning somewhat!

A little while later, Spearmint had to leave. Ellie stuck around a little longer, then soon left as well.

Last night was Alraune's first night tending bar, after applying to DJ Zero last night. Her first customer was Despare, who was rather rude and impolite at first, demanding vodka and giving a 'Don't you know who I/we are' speach. Alraune responded with that he was a patron in the bar, whatever he was outside didn't bother or scare her one bit. (Will need to check logs for exact wording)

Spearmint turned up and was served some Canadian beer, Ellie had a cola, and Alraune chatted to the people as she served them, and had to deal with several things through the night, including robots trying to tend bar.

Unsure as to if Alraune'll get the job, simply because I found it to be bloody stressful, annoying and infuriating at times. I can forsee problems ahead dealing with unruly patrons and theives.

Mary Raynard in her disguse as The Avenging Fox had a lot to think about, having been shook up by the fight with the mysterious Council member she had to re-evaluate a lot of stuff.

The Senator had just been a pawn, a tool used to try and shape her, and for the most part it nearly worked, this was a fight that had spanned The Vulpine Blade, The Avenging Fox, and now her, Mary Raynard, the last of a line of heroes.

The Sword of Albion was the only hero who knew her as Mary, to everyone else she referred to herself as fox or Sophie after her grandmother. Currently she was helping her mentor to try and get a feel of Paragon's good side.

Ms. Behave spoke with Roselin Thorne about a few things, letting her know how she felt and reassuring her that even though recently her sanity had taken a beating she still had clarity about some things.

The Sword of Albion had asked Mary to help him with a few things last night, unfortunatly those plans were put on hold after there was no way to gather the man power needed to accomplish such a feat.

Meanwhile, one of Mary's aborted plans took a life of it's own on and woke up in her now abandoned apartment, the cloning tank splitting and depositing an unconcious but very alive young woman.

Nightschild entered Pocket D looking for nothing more than a steady supply of hard spirits that would let him drink until he passed out- the few other bars that would serve someone his age tended to cut him off for fear of alchohol poisining after the first bottle or two, when his half-demon metabolism needed far more to have an effect.

He sat to one side drinking steadily for a while, and Mischevious showed up and said hi- then wondered what was wrong with Nick. Since Savannah was Zeyna's therapist, Nick assumed that she not only already knew, but had played a part in convincing Zeyna that they shouldn't be together. The discussion didn't go well- Savannah tried to be supportive, but Nick brought up her own troubled love life and asked how she was qualified to give advice if she couldn't help herself. Savannah left shortly after, muttering that this was why she never counselled teenagers.

By now starting to feel the effects of so much drink even with his constitution, Nick found that Alraune was becoming a little concerned with him, knowing how much he'd had so far. Blackrun and Energyneer overheard the conversation, with Mort commenting that he was obviously still hurting. Energyneer offered a shot to people from a silver flask she carried, saying that it was called Ambrosia and would make you feel whatever you wanted for a time- in his depressed state, Nick was more than willing to try the strange glowing substance and found that his heartache faded into numbness.

Vigilante Storm showed up at this point, and Rachel asked what was going on with Nick and found he was acting oddly. She was a somewhat upset to find that his state was due to some sort of drug, though even through the numbness of the Ambrosia Nick was somewhat shocked by her next revelation. It seemed that her behaviour towards Nick previously, consisting of interrupting his flirting with various women with sarcastic remarks and flirting with other men whilst standing near Nick was a cunning smokescreen ( ) hiding the fact that she had a "thing" for Nick.

They ended up talking about this in private. Nick accepted that as tempting as it may be, drugging the heartache away wasn't going to be a viable solution, and that he'd just have to let it heal with time. Rachel got a kiss and the understanding that he would think about what she'd said when his emotions got properly up and running after the ambrosia wore off. He wouldn't be getting together with anyone soon, though, but the knowledge that there was at least one other girl who found him attractive would help whatever else happened between them.

He left Pocket D to wait for his feelings to return, hopefully less painfully than was previously the case.

((The corpse of Nick and Zeyna's relationship isn't even cold yet and already the vultures begin to circle... As someone pretty new to the CoX RPing community, I have to wonder, is this normal? ))
