Less than an hour to go, I'll pop on COX shortly. Are we all meeting up at the Peregrine Island Ferry?
-
I'll take fire then. We got a cemented time too?
-
Tuesday is fine, just tell Beet and whoever is turning up that has a STEAM community name to prod me with IM so I don't forget.
What time? 7PM or 8PM? -
So we need to decide, tommorow, monday or tuesday? I'm free for them all.
-
I sincerly hope we can get enough heroes to hold each rune for this.
-

It was dark, almost Midnight as Red Commissar waited in the shadow of the huge penny outside the PPD Headquarters, shifting in his stance knowing that somewhere in the dark in the area Beet was patiently lurking ready to give a hand if things got rough. A shape in a ratty grey trenchcoat loomed throughout the darkness, the owner glancing over his shoulders was clearly extremely nervous.
"I g-got what I could man..." he hissed nervously, said the man peeking from the lapels. It had been the two bit Assassin one of several set after Red Commissar in the first few weeks.
Red Commissar nodded and from out behind the other side of the Penny came a PPD Detective. The nervous man almost jumped out of his coat when the sleeve of his coat was seized, dropping the badly folded up yellowing piece of paper on the ground. Red Commissar bent down and picked it up. It was a simple Telephone numbers. He smiled under the mask as the PPD led the Assassin into the PPD HQ for the Paragon Witness Protection Program.
"Beet, ve have a number. Give me your location, ve must discuss further matters..." -
A shot rang out in the still darkness above some buildings in Galaxy City. Then a shape tumbled off a roof, rolling and trying to put a small fire out of his awkward looking clothes before he landed in a handy open dumpster that was below the squat single floored shop. Brief fuzzy movement in the still air of the taller Apartment block overlooking the shop signalled as if somebody was fiddling with a catch on his weapon. Those experimental incendiary bullets did work. Good.
Peering into the Dumpster through his cloak on a taller building and zooming in, Red Commissar noted the 3rd Cheap Assassin was in fact even worse than the 2nd one Spruk had sent after him. The 1st one was busy still being chased by either Redeffete or Jess. Glancing at his Communicator briefly he noted for once there was good news as Catz and Ef had been located.
He stepped off the roof and activated the anti-grav thrusters built into the soles of his boots and landed smoothly onto the ground as if it were a normal jump from a step not a floor and decloaked himself, slinging his AR and approaching the stunned Assassin trying his best to untangle himself from the rubbish.
"Comrade. Lets talk business..." he stated.... -
The sirens glinting off the tinted glass of Red Commissars modified mask goggles as he poured over a map, silent rage of how despite several heroes searchings of the Steel Canyon area could have allowed this to happen, behind him a mixed group of PPD Officers, Heroes and Medical Personel were gearing up to brave the nicknamed deadzone of the city.
Infront of him was a crude barrier of cars and busses as well as anything else that could have been put up in short notice, a huge portion of the gas had spread from the centre of Steel Canyon, thus causing a series of maze like barricades and pockets of besieged resistince fighting off the chemically enraged.
Sasha clinked loudly against his back has he moved, it was non lethal tonight. He was going to finally use that net gun attachment. He brooded for a moment, despite the small victory of locating one of the mans bombs under Portal Corp in Peregrine Island and the fact each one now seemed to have a unique poison this was far from over. -
Red Commissar nodded and snapped the PPD Radio off, slipping back into his belt and looked into the sky, where the odd tint somehow caused by Spruks chemical bomb attack was beginning to lift, but the sounds of sirens and plumes of smoke were replacing it, it seems the Hellions were trying another turf grab while the Skulls went nuts with the looting and choas.
It was good news that Lucy had the cure for the toxin in the work, but first they had to locate the remaining eight bombs. He glanced down at the ground of the pavement he was standing on, idly glancing over the road and spotted a manhole in the road.
"Of course. Ze sewers...". Nodding, he reached for his Communicator. He hoped Catz was finished with her riot control. -
The sound of a fist slamming into the mutated hulk of one of the less human members of the Losts face echoed around the alley way followed by the knocked out goon himself as what was now an it landed messily into a pile of rubbish.
Red Commissar cracked his knucked in irritation and unslung his modified Hero Corp Assault Rifle which he had named infamously as Sasha as his HUD display built into his gas mask wanrned him of multiple signatures at 3 o clock the alleys ways enterance.
He turned around and fired Sasha just above the entry way of the dank stinking Alley behind the almost recently looted pawn shop sending a stream of rubber bullets over the head of a group of Skulls who instantly changed their mind about looting the shop whilst the heroes were stopping the other looters. Red Commissar signaled to the Workers base for a hover turret to be deployed via Hammerspace.
It was only an hour since Spruk had detonated the bomb in Pocket D after taunting him, Cal and Magma. He knew the two other heroes were busy still at ground zero helping with the disinfecting and cloud control. The weight of the other eight hidden bombs lurked in his mind and he grit his teeth under his mask.
Stalking back into the Pawn Shop, dragging the last of the small group of Lost with him he located the organised pile other several other Kings Rows Gangs including a smashed pile of Clockwork gears underneath and added the latest fool he had crushed into it. Hearing glass tinkle, he quickly pulled a web grenade from his belt compartment and tossed into onto the pile covering the goons. Another shop was already being looted.
He moved fast, reloading another clip into Sasha hoping that Neko was working on an anti-toxin... -
So are we doing this tonight and what did I miss?
-
Surely you mean you leave at 7:30 Catz?
Also, we meet around 7:30 and deploy around eight to finish Arc 1? -
Uh, hello? is anyone going to turn up to this?
-
7PM is fine, What about you guys
we know your reading this.
-
I say we do it at the weekend, early evening...
-
Red Commissar stalked through the alley ways of Galaxy City, he felt that something big was going to happen soon. And he was prepared for it.
He decided it was time to alert Catz, so he pulled the PPD Communicator out from his belt webbing and input the code. -
Catz is involved now. You can't run Catz!
-
Bump, Lets get this plot into action!
-
Red Commissar walked through the door dressed in his modern battle dress and then glanced and nodded at Beet.
"I am here Leah, I vill do vhat iz needed of me...". -
Red Commissar glanced over the bloody corpse of Assassion and his followers and shrugged, shouldering his rifle he ran over to help the others extract Tim from whatever the strange device was.
-
As soon as the shield died, Red Commissar still cloaked by now his movements blurring the air around him quickly edged towards the cells his back against the steel bulkhead walls of the room unshoulding his assault rifle and quickly adjusting his barrel to fire the clip of AP bullets he had just inserted into said AR, glancing down the barrel of his cloaked gun he immediatly begin to fire a loose arc of covering fire at all targets as he edged closer and closer to the objective.
-
There was a click and then from seeming out of nowhere in the shadows at the edge of the forcefield an explosive tripmine was skillfully thrown just before Assasion foot emerged from through the forcefield, loud bleeding indicating that it was on full proximity alert.
-
Red Commissar stood quickly into the shadows as he shook his head getting his bearings, making sure Assassion and the others weren't not noticing he, moved his hand to a well hidden button in belt and pressed it, shimmering out quietly out of view. The button also sent a secret transmission towards Seans visor.
-
Red Commissar shooked his head as he checked the inside of another pod.
"Zis one iz also dead. Zis is not good news at all Sean man. I vhink all of zem might be dead..."
Red Commissar scanned the room carefully all of a sudden, unslinging his AR from his shoulder behind the cape, having a sudden feeling something was going to happen.
