Ooh ooh! Me, me, me, me, me!
Lots of AoE, great secondary effect and cool animations. The anemic damage it does on Defenders was what always killed it for me.
Getting it on a Blaster with Aim and BU? Yes please!

Cosmic Burst is one of the best tier 3 blasts.
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
Do you think they will add dark blast as well? Although with power color customs, you could turn energy into a dark blast I suppose.

Well, at the moment, no. It certainly should come in the future though.

Already said it in another thread, and it's probably just the cynic in me, but I wouldn't expect Rad in its current form to come to Blasters. They'll probably normalize the T1 and T2 blasts and reduce the damage scale of Cosmic Burst. Even then, it'll likely be a solid set in the hands of a Blaster.

Still a great time to be a Blaster. A unique, fun, exotic damage dealing primary in I16 to be followed by Dual F'N Pistols in Going Rogue.
Virtue:
Miserya - 50 EM/ELA Brute (Perma-shelved)
Adriana Rayne - 42 Katana/Dark Scrapper
Cyberpulse - 26 Super Strength/Willpower Brute
Steel Heart - 24 Invuln/Super Strength Tanker
It feels like Christmas morning.....Rad Blaster! Just think Rad/Electric with custom colours....brilliant!

Neutrino and X-Ray would both need DMG buffs, but not too much would have to change RECH-wise.
Neutrino: .6 DS, 1s Cast, 1.5s Rech
X-Ray: 1 DS, 1.67s Cast, 4s Rech
Compare that to Archery:
Snap: .84 DS, 1s Cast, 2s Rech
Aimed: 1.32 DS, 1.67s Cast, 6s Rech
As for Cosmic Burst, I don't think they'd reduce its DMG. It's exactly the same as Power Burst.

Power Burst doesn't also have a guaranteed stun (not trying to quibble, just making a point).

I'm pretty psyched. I loved it for 50 levels on my Defender, who knows what we can do on Blasters! =D

if they changed it to a chance for stun, I wouldn't complain.
So very excitied. Ever since my first Rad corr. I always wanted it to be on a Blaster, and now with the chance to change colors. HOLY! This is gonna be awesome!

I would.
We have enough sets for low utility high DPS single target beatdown already.
I'm worried they will gut the set like they did Psi when it was ported over.

100 foot range reduced to 80 feet, Subdue and Psi Scream moved to the secondary, Psi Dart and Mental Blast standardized with other Blaster T1/T2 blasts, and Will Dom's damage scale got hit badly at the same time as its recharge was increased.

Some concern of seeing cosmic burst go the way of willdom. I hope not though as rad only has 3 st blasts, whereas psy was better equipped to handle the change with 4 blasts.
Something about the best attack in the set also having massive control has me concerned about how it will be for blasters.
Rad/em seems like the clear choice as powerboost is going to mesh very well with it.
Rad/fire has me thinking too about the pbaoe goodness (similar to elec/fire, but with an actual t3 attack.)

Yes, I know what they did to Psy...
But what can they take out of Rad? You can't gut a set that has nothing to gut.
Neutrino? It's a glowy Snap Shot.
X-Ray? Basic T2.
Irradiate? Does T2 level damage as an AoE, but workable since it's DoT (which have always dealt more damage than straight up).
Electron Haze? This is one that could be tweaked downward DMG wise. Animation time's a killer though.
Proton? Snipe.
Cosmic Burst? The T3 (finally) with the set's only available Mez (aside from the nuke).
Neutron Bomb? Perfectly in line as a TAoE.
Atomic Blast? Nuke.
EDIT: I'll say that I could see them removing Electron Haze:
A) It's a bit high damage for an AoE
B) 3 fast charging AoEs might be pushing it.
But I don't consider that to be effectively gutting the set, particularly if it means something more interesting would be replacing it.
On another note though, Rad/Ment would be a real AoE monster.
