A crap-ton of -tohit and some -res on target coupled with an aoe self heal and an aoe +dmg buff? Yes plz.

I never thought masterminds would get /storm, and still I think masterminds will never get /kinetics. Imagine a set of speed boosted ninjas. Fulcrum shift the zombies? Yes please!

Radiation emission would probably have the radius of radiant aura nerfed along the lines of twilight grasp's. There isn't a set that comes to mind that wouldn't appreciated the radiation infection/enervating field/lingering rad trifecta. Accelerated metabolism would be huge, especially for the protector bots and their end use. And then, Hoo Boy, EM Pulse on a bodyguarded mastermind would be sick and wrong.

I think I'm one of the few people who aren't all that interested in a Kinetics Mastermind. I think they are outrageously overhyped. I've essentially played one. I've twoboxed a Kinetics corruptor who just used his secondary and a MM who just used his primary. Sure you can say it's not exactly the same... but really... it's the same. I know enough on how to manage endurance so that it wasn't like having two endurance bars.

The MM pets are simply too dumb to fully maximize the use of Fulcrum Shift and speed boost. Yes, Kinetics MM would be fun and exciting but would be far less powerful than most of the MM secondaries that are already out there. Nothing game breaking nor even the threat of game breaking.

All of other potential Mastermind Secondary proliferations are incredibly powerful. Sonic, Thermal and Cold all combine enemy debuffs with targeted shields. All of these would be frighteningly powerful. Sleet and Ice Shields may be overpowered on a Mastermind.

Radiation would also be very impressive and fun. All of those debuffs would be so useful. I think the heal is overrated. Woop de doo an AoE heal. That doesn't help kill anything. It's relatively easy for all of the MM debuff sets and most of the buff sets to completely neutralize the enemy attacks anyway. What's the use in healing if they don't take any damage.

I don't understand the joy of Kinetics for Masterminds.

Radiation, yea, but I figure Radiation will have it's costs boosted up...alot.

Give me Sonic before Kinetics or Radiation.

Kinetics would be sickeningly good, especially with the melee-oriented sets (Necro, Ninja). However, I guess you could make your dudes run in close regardless.

As for Radiation, I would LOVE this. For probably 2 decades I've had an NPC in my supers universe that I run games in sometimes who is a Necromancy / Radiation / Healer character. She shoots rad blasts, has a variety of radiation powers, necromancy powers, summons, and heals/resurrections. Finally I could come close to modeling her in COV.

Also, I would love to see some thugs lighting up some dudes all covered in the green sticky-yummy.

I dont think pets are affected by +recharge anymore. I think a /Kin MM would be powerful ... but not as powerful as you'd think, largely because of this. It would certainly be tedious to leverage to full power. However, I still think it would be good.

Pets such as Protector Bots and enforcers would benefit from speed boosts recovery buff. When I was thinking of ninjas, I was thinking of the pure increase in footspeed that would result.

I'd like to see thermal get ported over if I had a choice, but /rad would be very nice. All of the /rad goodness would be as good for us as it is for everyone else.

I made a Necro/Cold AV in the Architect once...

It was the worst thing I have ever faced. Shields, tohit debuffs, fears, sleet, benumb, heals on all the pets. The thing wiped me repeatedly.

Thus, I want one.

/seconded on sonics.

I already have a concept for a thugs/sonic. the -res taunt aura for the bruiser combined with the shields. It would be great to have a bubble set that isn't beyond boring for a MM.

/Poison does have advantages over /Rad. A ranged heal, -special, Noxious Gas, a single target hold, and persistent debuffs. The latter being especially significant, since one of the major weaknesses of /Rad is its dependence on toggles that drop if you get mezzed. An EB that mezzes me for a few seconds on my /Poison MMs doesn't suddenly become undebuffed and slaughter my henchman.

Not that I'd turn down /Rad, mind you; but I wouldn't delete my /Poison MMs if /Rad became available.
