"Flaming Telepaths" sprang to mind, but I don't know why

Kin would be fun for just certain MMs I think, having discussed crack head ninjas before.
I think Cold would have the benefits of poison and forcefield... and a little storm, too, I guess.
Sonic would be a BEAST on thugs, zombies and ninjas.
Radiation would offer more to a wider variety of MMs, I think, IMHO

Sonic would be great on Bots as well so long as you like getting into Melee.

Well, that is true I guess. I woudlnt delete my Poison either; making people and enemies puke is funny!

See, for me, it's Necro/Sonic, Ninja/Sonic, Thugs/Sonic that i'm most interested in seeing. Because they don't have to sacrifice anything to leverage Disruption Field and Liquefy would work stupidly well in hard mobs. Not saying that it wouldn't work for Bots or Mercs, but Liquefying a tough group so your ninjas/zombies/thugs don't even get touched. Ugh. Sexy.

I mean, if I can get enough recovery bonuses (which I don't think i can for this to work) I'd take every toggle in Sonic Res, Assault/Tactics and a Patron shield.

Disruption Field on Bruiser. Repulsion Field on an Enforcer (bounce enemies away from me), Assault/Tactics to stack on to the Enforcers, Patron Shield + Sonic Dispersion...yes plz.

The only thing this build, imho, would ever even blink at are enemies with sleep powers.

I made an Elec/Rad Corruptor and /Rad is by far my least favorite secondary.

However, MM can afford running those expensive toggles a lot easier than Corr/Defender (at least during lowbie lvls).


As for /Kin, I can see a Ninja/Kin or Necro/Kin, although Castle said it before that we won't see MM/kin. But hey, they also said that we wouldn't be able to "customize" powers and it is going to happen!


What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

I doubt we'll ever see /Rad or why did they bother making /Poison to begin with? I used to want /Kin, but now I don't care about it. Too many teams just treat /Kins as their personal SB and FS [censored] and I'm honestly not overly impressed with how people rely on the set or how the pets would interact with it.

The MM is my favorite AT, though, so I'd really like something new added to it. I'd love some /Cold, /Sonic, or /Thermal.

Neither of these sets compare really, both work differently. Also remember if and when rad is ported it will be a watered down version. Look at the numbers when you compare Defender Trick Arrow to MM Trick Arrow. Rad and every set will be treated the same when ported over. Kin, Thermal, Sonic, dont matter which.

The general understanding by many at the time, and forgive me for not saving multiple ancient forum posts and threads to substantiate my statement, was that the only reason we got /Poison is because the powers that be did not want MMs to have /Rad. If someone has something by a red name to say otherwise I would love to see it.

Well I'd like to see a post that states either direction or intention. I don't recall a Dev ever making that statement throughout beta. Player speculation isn't always spot on

Point being poison works differently from radiation emission. I have 3 rads at 50 and soon will have a Poison at 50. They simply don't work the same in game regardless of what they look like on paper.
