I have that basic layout replicated to every character. Since I started doing that before we could save and load the layout, some of the exact positions vary, but the composition is always the same. What's in the attribute monitor varies, so its size varies, and that moves around power tray 6 (upper right).

Thanks a ton for sharing those. 
It doesn't rearrange the windows perfectly, but it saves a ton of time for new alts. I forsee an increased number of alts in my future.

It's fairly standard, but i've unattached the map and put it up in the left hand corner so it doesnt cover my field of view when I have it open. sure it covers the 'target' box, but I rarely need both of them up at once.
I have the tabs on the chatbox setup to 1) Combat, 2) Damage/Healing, 3) Globals, and 4) Rewards, so I can go back and double check on them when I need them- I really wish Global Chat had a timestamp option.
My MM have the middle mouse button linked to thier 'main' attack power + Petcom_all Attack, so I can easily redirect my minions in combat. My melee types have thier ranged attack on the middle button, when they get one.
I get that a lot, actually. I blame it on my training as a draftsman. I handwrite in all caps, and generally prefer it to standard upper and lower case when reading a font that is supposed to look handwritten. Besides, it's comicky.

I tend to hoard things I still have them on all but one of my personal account characters as well.
An example of my GUI
The color tint changes based on the characters, and if a character has pets it goes right under the heatlh/xp tray bar. with just enuf room for my mez condtion and power icons to show up inbetween.
I hardly ever use macros, but on every character pretty much every key on the keyboard is bound to do something.

That is how all my toons are set up, but a good number of them don't get the attribute window till they hit 40+

Pretty basic setup. Enhancements at the bottom so I can keep insps open all the time. Attribute monitor under the lowest I've seen power icons and mez notices stack up, with up to three trays of extra powers and such between there are the height the Powers tab can open up to. Pet window on every character, at least for the buff pet, and the chat pretty standard, just bigger.
I've also got other windows that are only used occasionally set up so they pop up in convenient non-overlapping spots, especially recipes, salvage, and the crafting window. SG window is just sort of huge and in the middle, but having it attached always bugged me.
And yes, I usually tint my windows, but I didn't really feel it strongly on Explomadoza.

the only thing i must do with my screen is that i have to put the health/end bar down near my power tray.
if i dont do that, then i wont notice when my health is low since my eyes are focused on the lower part of the screen watching my powers recharge.
i have no idea how people can pay attention to their hitpoints and endurance when its way up in the top corner of the screen.
I would die all the time if it was up there.
