In game? o.0 No it's a little box hovering over a player looks like stat data but not the one in combate attributes o.0
Which picture? And not Combat Attributes, the Attributes Monitor (the smaller version, not the huge one).

My GUI
Since this is a new character the power trays are mostly empty... generally the 3 main trays get COMPLETELY filled, with the two extra trays mostly filled.

Dis one o.0
Perhaps there's a feature I'm missing o-o
Yep, that's the Attributes Monitor.
Go to Powers -> Combat Attributes -> Right mouse click on an attribute, select "Monitor X" and the Attributes Monitor will pop up. You can modify that by right mouse clicking on the attributes there, or adding more to it from Combat Attributes.

Well paint me yellow and call me a bannana, I'll try that when I get hime, that would be very helpful, I kept that huge monitor up sifting through it, and I can drag and drop? :P
Thanks.
I feel like a nub :<
Can't use drag and drop, but the right mouse button menu has entries to add/remove on both the Combat and Attributes Monitor, and on the Attributes Monitor it also has options to move up/down the individual attributes in the list.
Faaaarrrr better than using the big thing

simple, but with my own touch. usually i hold ctrl and alt to bring up the other two action bars and then hit the hot key i want. and of course i killed the split chat screen thing.
Wow, we are actually learning stuff from this thread. I know you can change the color of your text and bubble but I didn't know you could change the color of your windows. I always thought the colors were locked to blue for hero and red for villain. I think I'm going to try this out.
I pulled the trigger. That's right, I did it, in Warburg, with the pistol. - Mista Chains
Everyone know the Tank Archetype get the most drops of all the types. This is because of their "Death Dealing" powers. I call it the front line bonus...but you'll never read this in the wiki - "Rx10"
Use a light grey to make the borders as unobtrusive as you can as an option to try out.

Niviene, Your inspie tray strikes me as a difficult place for the mouse to land on. You ever have problems with that?
I know that it'd probably be a security issue, but I'd LOVE to see the way the devs have their dev clients setup.

Like some others in the thread, each of my characters gets custom window colors (and speech bubble colors). The colors are based on characterization, but not necessarily costume colors.

[/ QUOTE ]If you manually edit the wdw file, you can set the colors/scale on a per window basis (or so I've been told, been meaning to try it out...)

Nope, works out well for me and reminds me to use them when it's there.

Also you can use A macro combo for resizing the ui using different WDW settings. I use two diff wdw files, one standard res for 1280x960 and the other a custom size for when i'm doing work behind coh and want to keep tabs on both.
/macro SRES "wdwloadfile Standard-res.txt$$screen 1280 960$$window_color 30 94 137 230"
the last line sets the color and opacity for the window.

Goliath, I *must* know how you get the custom font on your character name display. Does it also work for other UI elements?

I use TweakCoH. There are separate settings for overhead text and GUI text. You've gotta play around with the font sizes a bit in some cases to get it looking just right, though. As for the overhead font itself, it's called Red Circle. I think it's included in the fansite kits; I downloaded it from a font site.
And regarding TweakCoH: it's a great program to have even if you don't intend to mess with the fonts. It enables you to change all the in-game display, graphics, and audio settings for both the live and test client while out of game; run various network diagnostics; and has some demo tools.

That was one boring TF, Vega
Niv,
I love the fact that you (as a redname) still have your holiday temporary powers in your tray.
I can't explain WHY that is funny to me. It just is.
Here is one example for me; I occasionally tweak the window colors based on the characters (Little Bunny Pew Pew has pink windows, and Midnight's Eclipse uses dark grey) and almost always customize the attribute monitor based on which AT/powersets I'm using.
Otherwise, it's pretty much the same defaults, just one tray expanded and everything shoved into the corners out of the way.
it has gone from unconscionable to downright appalling that we have no way of measuring our characters' wetness.

What is that little box hovering over the player with the nubers in it? o.0 I've not seen this before! O_O
