Scariest NPC ever!
[ QUOTE ]
I heard on the radio that the three most common fears are spiders, clowns, and dentists. So what if there was an NPC who had the exo skeleton like the Vaz Meat Doctor for a spider look . The left half of the face and body would be clown makeup and the right half would be a medical gown. The left 3 exo skeleton arms would be waving guns that have a flag sticking out that says "Bang" and the right half of the arms would have a dentist drill in them.

i would quit playing and cancel my account........
i love clowns, but those other two really bother me
i would not be able to handle the fact that a video game made me wet my pants, i would have to leave.
Oh yeah, that was the time that girl got her whatchamacallit stuck in that guys dooblickitz and then what his name did that thing with the lizards and it cleared right up.

The scariest NPC ever would be the Queen from Aliens; I truly regret that we can't have her in the game. If there was such a thing as an Alien MMO I would so be there.
The original Playstation had an Alien game where you had to fight her. It was just awful
I am immune to spider NPCs since we have so many running around in the game now, and clowns don't bother me. But that's just me.
ever see those arachnids? can find them in grandville and warburg

i would love to see a version of this 'thing'

in such a way that it continues to morph, and absorbs certain power functionality from whomever it's fighting.
would make for an interesting foundation to work through shape shifting/ power shifting for use as a power structure for players.

Kittens give Morbo gas.
I don't have a scariest NPC, really. I love my dentist, I love spiders, and I once worked as a clown... So doom on you all.
You wanna scare me? Make an underwater zone, and put Mako in there... Yay, Galeophobia!

Ah, The Thing. That WAS pretty bad... would make a great basis for a single-player game. I think something like this would be way, way too scary for CoX though, which is very mild scare-wise.
I would really like to see scarier monsters in CoX, and I don't see how that would affect a "teen" rating - teenagers are not exactly wrapped in cotton wool these days as far as media exposure. It often seems to me that CoX's "teen" rating is actually "child-friendly," they just don't want to up and admit that. I mean, c'mon.... those Warwolves and Vampyres are about as scary as Barney the Dinosaur.
The broken Nemi automatons. When they start stuttering I get taken back to my youth when I was (and still am) terrified of robots due to the movies I'd watched and Disneyland. Twitchy dolls scare the crap out of me. First time I heard the automatons speaking I almost quit the mission right there in the doorway.

None of those pictures give me the creeps, except for this one.
Anything resembling Regenerators/Iron Maidens from Resident Evil 4...
I'm not sure what's worse, the sound they make or watching them twitch. Either way, I can barely get off a clean shot at them just because I'm twitching from the things. Don't think I'll ever get used to those things...
But yeah, CoX could go for some creepier elements. Obiously, you really wouldn't want to see these things all the time or we'd have to be called a survival horror game. But I could go for some freaky catacombs or something. Heck, throw open the gates to Oranbega...There's gotta be some nasty stuff lurking down there.
The off-beat space pirate...Capt. Stormrider (50+3 Elec/Storm Science Corruptor)
The mysterious Djinn...Emerald Dervish (50+1 DB/DA Magic Stalker)

Aww, but they're such cute liddl' fuzzy wuzzies. How could you be afraid of that?
As for what'd creep me out? Hmm...it'd have to be something like a room that was an enemy or the like. All around you, but at the same time nowhere specific, and when a part of it takes damage, the whole room gets gradually more organic/decayed. Yeah, stuff like that.

Ah in D&D this is known as the Terrible living room of death!
Lurker = Ceiling tries to strangle you to death!
Trapper = The floor is trying to eat you!
Stun mould = The walls are trying to consume you!
It's basically the ultimate in party killing technology and pretty much the equivilent of Rock Fall, everyone dies type party kill since it's virtually impossible to get out of it.

I still think they should re-make it on the 360.
