And how come when I clicked on the link titled "Server Downtime Thursday" but the actual message says Wednesday?

It's a stability patch as announced here. That Booster stuff's already in the game, just waiting for some tweaks and/ or the NCStore to support its sale.
An unannounced stability patch with no notice given or explanation until well after the servers were brought offline.
Perhaps protocol for emergency maintenance announcements needs reevaluating?
At the least, if the ingame admin channel announcement tells us to see the forums for infromation, the information should be available at the time of the announcement, not 67 minutes afterwards.

Looks like the Server Status page isn't updating/on the fritz bucause it still says all servers are still up. What gives?

This has been an problem since at least issue three. Fixes have been promised. Still nada. I think I have the right to call them on it now.

Noticed that as well. I assume the "up" status currently seen is the error and note that the time stamp of the update actually indicates June 24 anytime "up" status is showing. An accurate date appears whenever status shows either "down" or "unknown" ... suggesting this is the only time to pay any attention to sever status indicators.
Regardless, actual up-time remains, as ever, a crapshoot.

Of course everything's closed for the holiday. And all the celebrations in my city have been canceled because of a city worker's strike.
And it's raining.

I feel your pain, I am from Toronto as well. At least I was able to do 90 minutes before the downtime. Beats staring at stinky garbage.

Although I agree with the sentiment, I disagree with the severity. I'm sure you'll get over it by this afternoon or tomorrow

I'm just hoping the game stability they are fixing refers to COH crashing my windows 7 video drivers!! I can't really play the game as is now anyway. Downtime resulting in that would be OK with me!
