Why? we're talking about 2 hour downtime for a video game. I'm unsure as to why this is a major concern, given so many other more serious things. Perhaps watch a movie or go bowling?

Also I'd rather they do the maintenance when they need to instead of waiting and letting the servers eventually go kaput.

We can get over an hour or two if it prevents problems later on.

Why? Because you chose to denigrate those who are upset because the time they get to play is not your own... ie your comments about being unemployed or a full time student, without considering that not everyone is on the same schedule as you.

As for going bowling or watching a movie, not always an option when you have not planned for it, and not a salve for being annoyed when your plans may be suddenly interrupted.

But that's ok, you can just sit there and feel superior for working your 9-5 that allows you to surf forums and complain about folks who get upset at a sudden loss of their entertainment venue during their prime time. Whatever makes you feel better dude.

It's not an over inflated sense of entitlement. Its the sense of being a customer and wanting to be informed properly in a timely manner about the product and services you're paying for.

Those type of statements tend to come across as though Customers should just be happy with what they get as far as content & service.

Where as I truly and absolutely believe whether I'm receiving as a Customer or giving as a Businessman... Customers should expect nor receive no less than the best. And if a customer isn't happy with something no matter how large or small it may seem. The Customer should say something about it or else it may go unnoticed.

I was going to post about this, but on the system I first saw it (W7 RC x64, IE8), it appears to clear itself up once you exit and restart the launcher. Will try on the XP system soon.
