There were Therms which may not be complete support, but definitely count for something.

Quote:For the first paragraph--that's completely fine. I thought I would also be able to help out with the teaching where I could.Siph-
You are certainly welcome to join any of the Kickballs we are running along side of the PvP classes, however, you probably wouldn't be able to actually join the event when we start forming up teams, this is really more of a training and informing type of event then an actual league.
Rad/psi is still great in PvP, TK is OP, animation times are no different between different animations of the same power. Psi/em is awesome. Sleep purple proc is still broken. PvP IO Procs seem to fire off a lot more then 33%. New incarnate powers really need to be removed from PvP.... ok you are all caught up, come play, and bring Pang.
Second paragraph sounds good as well. I'll try to level the Psy/Em at some point. Thanks! And I will bring Pang. -
Hi r0x! I miss you and the old team. Kinda wish they would come back for a bit...reactivation week, perhaps?
Also, to Masque/the rest of the committee: I'm back after about a year break, and I don't know what the expected/accepted builds are, but if Rad/Psy's are still acceptable, I would love to bring mine around--I know they were still being used somewhat when I left, but I don't know if that has changed.
If you guys would rather have me play a Psy/Em (I was never good at offense, but I know much, much more about it than I do Rad's), I can find a way to level up and IO out a toon.
P.S. I made one just for fun and noticed the new animations...do those affect activation times at all? I don't ever remember reading about the new animation options, so I don't know if this was covered already. -
I'm back!
My schedule kinda fluctuates a bit, but I'll definitely stop by when/if I can. As such, I won't be able to make it this week, but I should be there next week.
I'm not sure how much I'll be able to help though
Also, I just wanted to say that this is really cool of you guys to do. -

Haha, I just meant that they will never make things better. I wouldn't be surprised if they made things worse.

I don't play support toons, but my top 5 PvP toons are:
1) Mind/Fire Dominator--incredibly fun but really only amazing with ios. However, with io's he surpassed my blaster in the fact that I want to play him more and more dynamic.
2) Psy/Em Blaster--I love his damage, range, and the fact that very few people can kill him. I loved my Fire/Em, but this toon replaced my Fire/Em when Fire became bad.
3) Cold/Son Defender--great disruption toon, and in duels, his Total Focus does like, 1000 damage when all of the -res debuffs are on my opponent. Not as powerful compared to when Slows were actually overpowered, as to know when they need a buff.
4) Rad/Psy--I always liked this toon, although I don't know how she plays after i13. Was very powerful and fun, although I think Psy might have been replaced with /Dark in terms of usefulness/damage.
5) Elec/WP Stalker--I love Stalking in Arena matches where people actually know what they're doing because I'm decent at pulling off AS's on moving targets and I like a challenge. Being able to do more than half of an opponents hp in one hit is also fun. In Zones I get bored fast however. -

Quote:I just lol'ed.i never go soul on my corrs cuz of hiber in levi and i like to tro sharks. and scourge beats the hell out of the "damage buff" vigilance has.
either way, i wouldn't do either of those combo's, you'd be better off switching the two (dark/rad fendur and rad/dark corr) since dark blast is bad. if you're gonna go rad, go sonic.
Dark Blast is NOT bad, especially if you factor in Procs, Rad debuffs, and other things. I have seen a couple of them in Team Arena, and they are impressive. Dark does not have as much burst as Sonic, but it is much faster with a little less damage.
In Team Arena, you will also usually have the most kills because of Gloom being DoT, which is fun =p
However, I would agree with Con in waiting for GR. -
I apologize. I was a dbag, and felt bad because only noobs deserve what I was doing.
I decided I would do it publicly just so you know I'm not that big of a tool...usually. -
Also, my "second" account @Siphonic Emperor was never mine, but my friend had paid for the most months you could and then didn't want to play anymore so he let me take it over. However, that friend is now back playing on servers trying out the game again. So the only person you can be sure is me is on @Siphonic.

Quote:a few things un-mentioned:
bad pvp video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vg31kdaSylY - UJL vs. Freaks - ie,wow, bad forts exist? - historical relevance: first official match where a 4 fort (ok really 3 fort, because as you can see in this video, modoom was just an ornamental fort, pretty sure these's a "will **** for locks, can i get locks on _____?" recording of me somewhere) jump team was ever used (even though the first fort jump team was run by the renegades during practice); freaks then quit from the ladder and merged with DR to form bloodline.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEIQgdzwibI - Mind/Ice (Parkinsons) vs. Dark/Cold Video (syn's videos were pretty good, lolvirtue was really underrated). lolvirtue may have been the hardest working team in the villain ladder in the sense that they actually joined practices for about 2 months prior to actually feeling prepared to join the ladder.
http://blip.tv/file/755107 , http://blip.tv/file/755079 -UJL vs. VRC Matches - first match: our poison puts pets on aura's stalker, who isn't set up to manage pets adequately (ujl is running spines/ea stalkers that ripper up and throw spines at pets to counter these tactics, maximum used to use phase on his regen to set up AS's, etc.). the forum drama ensueing about 3 months later was hilarious (essentially consisted for myk, and mez calling ujl and the renegades bad, lolvirtue writing a guide to villain pvp (1. mind link stacks, 2. doms have domination, and ajax insisting that a regen will never work in a villain match because of how mm's sic pets... about 2 months later maximum ran a beast regen against gmw, getting some pretty good AS's through storm debuffs). Second match, VRC switches to an all-dom team. Nerf Traps.
While VRC was never good, neither was UJLol. GMW and Renegades were pretty evenly matched, with Renegades being somewhat higher because they could actually practice regularly...and lolVert playing coh. -
I'm getting on right now most likely for the last time ever, so there better be some KB's going.

Quote:lol.I just read posi's post about the new super sidekick and it seems the power leveling we know today will be a thing of the past when i16 hits. Better get those levels in now if you want to pl a toon.

Seriously. Kinetics, Sonic, Therm (no AP, shields don't do anything, HE is barely noticeable on my toons--when the toon is support, not a duelist, and Melt Armor is much to easy to avoid having it impact you), FF has Force Bubble--that's it.
-
Psy/Em should also be added to that list, as well as Sonic/Sonic and Sonic/Psy's.
It was much more diverse in i13. You could see that in the lineups that PX and OS used. -

Good luck to you.

Pretty much sums it up.
