  1. I'm having the same issue with all servers also!! I've even gone as far as reinstalling. Any help?
  2. how does one delete a thread?
  3. So I was wondering if I could get some critiques or sugestions on my planned build. I'm not overly sure what I'd want to gun for on a rad def, so I figured soft capping was the most loggical. I could theoretically get more ranged def, but I figured it would be best to soft cap S/L and ranged as best I could to be more rounded. I've leached a lot of this off the boards, so I know at the very least it's not a horrible build.

    Any suggestions are welcome.

  4. This is more of a serious question then a critiquing one.. As a blaster do you need that much S/L?
  5. I'm actually trying decide on going with stone mastery and fire mastery at this point. But isn't the more res the better? Is there any benefit to going a def shield and weave?
  6. Really, not even a "your build is crap?"
  7. I realize there are a million different builds posted on here, and the main thing I've learned is that if you post it atleast 10 people will say it sucks. I've gleamed some information and am reworking my fire/kin farmer. This is doubtfully the final build, and I would love some advice/sugestions/etc. Thanx in advance.

  8. I'm using a 650 psu.. its kinda old... but acordinf to everest, the 12v rail is holding steady.
  9. Yeah, I'm leaning towards it being the card... i've been trouble shooting it with EVGA and they keep telling me its my PSU. So I've been having Everest monitor my 12v rail and its been golden...
  10. Ok, so strike that... Its not just thos drivers... Its still crashing.. Just doesn't seem as frequently.. its hard to tell cause some times its immediate, other times it takes hours.

I've been testing out option on vista to no avail now too.. Even with the hotfix this is still happening... And its not just this game. Left 4 dead drops out completely to desktop. Prototype is freezing up. I'm starting to wonder if its my video card. But even that doesn't make sence as its acting like a driver issue.
  11. No, its definately an issue with the realtek sound drivers and the video card. It's giving me issues in other games too. Soon as I uninstall the realtek front end everything is gravy.
  12. Oh... Looose... Apparently the new win7 install was working fine cause I didn't install my sound drivers... Soon as I did BOOOOOM! So I guess its video games or sound to choose from.. Well, 3d surround sound or video games.
  13. Start one... Make a moderate base.. Recruit like crazy... Promote no one...> Don't ever log back on.

I have even gone so far as to name some characters after food. Let me help you with some here.

    Bran Flake
    Crazey Crunch Berry
    Rasinetta
    Pugnacious Pumpkin
    Dominight

All good choices in my opinion!

All reported for copy right infringment.... Thank you!
  15. So I dual booted vista.... And on a crap shoot I did downgrade to the last official win7 release (7100) and it **looks** like I'm golden now... So yeah. Just a heads up to devs (assuming they ever read this) that theres DOOOOooooOOOOM on the herizon... DOOOOOOooooooOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. It does with work in linux with wine. I may have to dual boot just for the game, or just stop playing it for a month or two till the problems fixed. Well, I guess thats crysis and prototype for me!
  17. I'm just hoping the game stability they are fixing refers to COH crashing my windows 7 video drivers!! I can't really play the game as is now anyway. Downtime resulting in that would be OK with me!
  18. At the time I was using 185... Now I'm using 181, as they give me a -little bit of- improvement. Just got my chip recently, so the bios is completely up to date.

But yeah, darkfaith.. I did just copy and paste it from my other post. Since then I've tried loads of possible fixes, including rolling back my drivers even more.
I'm really liking win7, and don't wanna dual as it will mean I probably justuse xp or vista (shudder) so as to avoid switching back and forth. I'm tempted to try to run xp as a virtual inviroment inside windows 7 and see how that goes.
  19. I'm getting this problem like crazy on windows 7.... Gahh!! Anyone else? Or anyone find a fix for it?
  20. So I've been having all kinds of issues with my NVidia drivers for this game. I actually have another thread, but the problems evolved soo much it warants a new thread.

Its basically the same issue Vista users had before the "hotfix". I will be playing the game and the Open GL drivers will crash.. Some times I get this message....
"The NVIDIA Open GL Driver encountered an unrecoverable error and must close this application.

    Error 14"

Some times not. I am attatching the hijack this and COHHelper.

  23. Ok, so I'm getting this
"The NVIDIA Open GL Driver encountered an unrecoverable error and must close this application.

    Error 14"
I'm sure this is the same issue vista was having before the hotfix... Anyone here have a sollution?
  24. Texas, thanx... That did work... Sorta... Now the problem is the game keeps crashing my drivers. I see this was a common issue in vista and work arounds there in, but on win7 I have no idea what to do.
