Let's talk Finishing Moves
I have two.
Total Focus. You leap up in the air and come crashing down with a double fisted overhead strike. Brilliant.
Power Thrust is also fun as well, although it does minor damage, nothing says finisher like making the enemy ragdoll away/off a building/into a wall/car/whatever with a single punch and them not getting up
Bah. Only finishing move that matters is /em teabag.
As for actual attacks, I do like to get in the killing blow with Brawl, or sometimes (on my Tankers) Taunt, and hope the Perfect Zinger Psi Damage proc kicks in.
Hmmm
Rain of Arrows (Finish the entire spawn)
Fireball off a fire/kin/fire
Full Auto.
And my all time favorite: Knockout blow: Nothing like seeing the dead lifeless ragdoll body being thrown into the air.
Siphon Life, of course, and I'm also a fan of Focus on my claws scrapper. "You're running away? Not so fast!" *SHING* *mob collapses*
On my Widow it's Poison Dart, especially when they try to make a run for it.
Having an enemy get twenty feet and crumple is somehow funny.
Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...
I love using Upercut to finish off Tsoo Ancestor Ghosts. They go flying up ... and never come down! Boom! Punched them straight to the afterlife!
Always remember, we were Heroes.
Let's see...
Knockout Blow (For reasons already discussed)
Telekinetic Blast: One of my all time favorite attacks. Ever. Just a quick extension of the arm to throw up your palm and WHAM! The enemy goes flying. No special effects, no pink rings flying across the screen. Just a sharp gesture and someone goes flying. Especially awesome near Ledges or when an enemy flees.
Lift. Similar to KO Blow it's fun to just fling enemies about, carelessly. Sometimes I'll take my level 34 Grav/Kin to Atlas just to fling Hellions into the sky. Slotted for KB, BTW! =-3
Vengeful Slice. I always think of this attack as my 'Sword-ryuken' I Love how the character does the upper-cut KU followed by the cross-slash spin on the way back down. Truly epic and full of Win. =-3
Shield Charge. Epic. And Full of Win. I'm still trying to convince myself to make an Elec/Shield Brute so I can Shield-charge + Lightning Rod.
-Rachel-
usually i just beat down whoever is close with whatever is up, however with rian (my ma/sr) but a finish with crane kick or eagle's claw does have that little extra bit of spice. the loud smash of a crane or eagle just sounds like it hurt. lazer beam eyes are kind of fun too.
with dire worg(my ss/elec), if i have the convenience of not having 3 other groups trying to remove my intestines, i throw the ko blow. why win when you cna win by putting the guy in orbit.
finally, with violet, (plant/thorn dom) i like the cone melee slash, i forget its name, think its eviscerate, but it has a good sound effect for a takedown.
I don't really have any finishing moves. My main attack is Air Superiority to suppress enemies from attacking while bodyguarding. Then I just let my Bots do the damage while shooting off challenge and provoke to keep the aggro between superiority.
I'm always doing something in combat, whether its holding aggro, using force bolt to knock something back, using detention field to hold a strong foe while i weed out the weak ones.... Maybe what my bots prefer to use is a more applicable question.

Steam Profile
Eviscerate or blaze, nothing gives a final "screw you" like a dramatic backflip or a giant fireball of death.
Warshade: Unchain Essence - technically used after the finishing move, but still... "I'm not only going to kill you, I'm going to blow up your body to kill your friends!"
Others...
Ice Blast: Bitter Freeze Ray - especially for runners. That huge chunk of ice just looks like it should kill something.
I'll echo Vengeful Slice also - it's a lousy power for a DPS chain, but it's pretty (and as you can tell by the fact I listed BFR, "pretty" trumps "DPS" on several of my builds).
Power Thrust, Crane Kick, Telekinetic Blast/Thrust, and, of course, the veteran Nemesis Staff are all fun just for the ragdoll.
it has gone from unconscionable to downright appalling that we have no way of measuring our characters' wetness.

War Mace Set, 1-2, Knock opponent up into the air with Jawbreaker, then as they are lying on the ground, getting up, raise the mace high and drop it for Shatter!
Lotus Drops from Katana has some DOT after the initial damage, so if they have a sliver left, I patiently wait for them to bleed out, as they futiley claw at me one last time.
www.paragonwiki.com is a great source of information for this game.

Golden Dragonfly on my Nin/Nin Stalker. Pretty much any attack that Knocks Up, really. Nothing like flinging a guy in the air and having him fall down already dead.
My assorted Stormies similarly love finishing foes off with Gale... although it's extremely rare that it'll work out, since it's single-slotted with just accuracy on most of 'em.

Lets see....
My Nin/SR Stalker likes to use Soaring Dragon as a finisher.
my Stone/WP Brute uses Heavy Mallet.
my Grav/Energy dom uses Total Focus or Lift and after I15 will also be using Power push giving him a choice of 3.
on my Ice/Traps cor Trip Mine is my favorite although I can't always get it.
DShan Steelclaw - Claws/Reg Scrapper - Eviscerate
Flexible Physics - Grav/Kin Controller - Propel along with accompanying bad pun; chair thrown: "Have a seat, villain!" Lamp propelled: "Let me help you see the light!" Car body: "You have a chance to win... a NEW CAR!"
Draconic Rage - SS/Fire Aura Brute - bosses are almost always via Knock Out Blow.. he has an attitude against minions tho'... not worth his notice.. he just lets Fire Aura eat them away to nil.
Phantasmal Fantasy - Illusion/Rad Controller - She loves sending in her illusionary shock troops while she does her nails.
Passive Aggression - Empathy/Psy Defender - She prefers to heal those who do all the killing.. hey... why do you think I called her Passive Aggression?
My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw
Any power I can imitate silly samurai sounds with is a good finishing move for me. Heavy Mallet and Greater Fire Sword work for that.
On Blasters, pretty much everything is good for a finishing move, but I'll have to say that TK Thrust and Blaze are epic enough to do the job right.
And Vengeful Slice.. come on. Swordyuken! Win, right there.
And Fire Sword Circle. Whoosh, ominous spin, ba-FOOM!, everyone falls over!
Here lately, it's been Shatter and Golden Dragonfly.
...both have a sufficient level of smash that just feel like they definatively end a fight. Even if it's not endurance efficient.
Darn efficiency! That was cool!
Also a big fan of using TK Thrust and Skewer for similar reasons.
I love it when I finish someone off with an Eagle's Claw when the knockback proc goes off.
Any killing blow where the knockback sends them off a ledge. I yell, "Railing kill!"

Yes, I like that one. For a strong finishing move, I like Greater Fire Sword.
My overall favorite though is the swish-dead of Bitter Ice Blast.
Crane Kick: I only have a few scrappers but on my MA (level 23) I will actually orchestrate fights so I can use crane kick to finish off the enemy -- hopefully by booting him off the edge of a building or handy cliff (this is a recurring theme, as you will see).
Power Thrust: most often used on my fire/energy blaster. There is something immensely satisfying about socking an enemy and catapulting it clear across the road...or off the edge of a building or handy cliff.
Telekinetic Thrust: Currently a low-damage attack (it's better in I15) used by my Mind/Psi dominator. The best way I can describe the power is "Talk to the hand. Oh, the hand says POW! You go flying off the edge of a building or handy cliff!" And the hand does this without ever needing to touch the enemy, it's just that good.
Tornado: My storm/energy defender's favorite way to finish off an enemy is to have a tornado juggle it helplessly in a corner as the damage ticks off down to zero. They always need to be softened up a bit first because tornado isn't exactly a high damage attack but that just makes it all the more satisfying when the enemy gets caught it in and doesn't get out alive.
Siphon Life: On my dark/dark brute, Siphon Life is a favorite just because it's fun to defeat enemies without ever hitting them. Just rip out their life force and watch 'em crumple over. My token "nothing goes flying" finishing move.
My 2 favs:
Siphon Life.. have few darks and alot of em I put macro on my tray that activates power and says a one liner .
Different for all, but my favorite one is old movie line I hear in my head: "YOUR SOUL IS MINE!"
And my MA loves to finish with the Roundhouse.. that pose after last kill man.. now that's cool.
edit: er Storm Kick
It's obviously been posted before, but it's been awhile, and we have new blood, which means new perspectives.
Simply put, do you have an attack that you prefer to use as a Finisher? And do you hear the announcer from Mortal Kombat in your head just before you use it? "I just hit buttons 'til stuff falls down" need not apply here, this is for the players for whom it is not the mechanics, but the style. ...Well, okay, if that's what does it for you, you post too.
- Crane Kick is my favorite power in the game, and my favorite Finisher too. It just looks so freakin' cool, so powerful-looking, and so FINAL. If we had breakable glass in the game, I'd go absurdly out of my way to aim enemies toward it. As it is, I make do with cliffs, ledges, heck even a wall two feet away can give a nice effect. Even before the uber ragdoll physics we had available, enemies sent flying with a kick looked great. Anyone remember when there was this ridiculously-long dramatic pause before the kick went off? Loved it even then.
- Second, and it's a close one, is Siphon Life. "Soul STEAL!" My DM/Shield goes to great lengths to finish off CoT (and other) mage enemies with this power, due to her backstory...she is part of an order of monks who hunts down mages who twist magic for evil, and the only way to truly put them down is to pull out their corrupted souls for later purification. The animation is just great for this too, again it's such a final-looking power.
- Once Axe gets ported to Scrappers (hopefully!), I'll be using Beheader to put down even more of my enemies. My Axe/Fire Brute uses it now. Just the name alone says "Weaken your opponent, then choose this". Anybody seen the movie Queen of the Damned? Yeah, I know, not great, but there's this one scene where the guy does this quick slice on a vampire, decapitating him, and then kicks the body backward and the head drops straight down. It's tough to think about merely defeating my enemies when this image comes to mind every time I use Beheader, but I do try...okay, big lie there, I cackle madly and yell "Off with his head!"
There are tons more, I have one for pretty much every character, but I should stop there. I tell ya, other games that just make you attack something 'til it falls kinda pale in comparison.
