Let's talk Finishing Moves

Haha, the only power that might be considered a finishing move on my PB is measly one-slotted 'Gleaming Bolt'. If a foe had just a tiny sliver of health left, this is nearly always used to finish them off. It only does about 40 pts of damage, but as I said, it's when there's just a sliver left. It's almost like those cartoons where someone has been beat to near death and then someone just gently blows them over for the finish.

Best finishing move, for me, is Brawl.

But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

Crane kick for all the reasons mentioned.

In addition to splatterific finishes with that power involving the enemy plummeting to their doom, I also love when I manage to lodge them in things. It's especially amusing when a large foe like a warwolf ends up dangling by his head which is now firmly planted in the ceiling tiles

I seem to use the Vet Axe a lot to finish off baddies.

Enjoy your day please.

My favorite Finish moves are either when a Damage proc goes off and finishes someone, or when Chain Induction jumps and takes someone out.

That, or when I taunt a runner and the Psi Damage Proc goes off and defeats them for me. ;-)

Mighty fond of Assassin Strike, and moreso now with the graphic bug where you can kill something so fast it doesn't know it's dead.

I also enjoy variations on a knockback theme:
<ul type="square">[*]Air Superiority + Snipe to the face [*]Power Thrust + Snipe to the face[*]Power Thrust (buh-bye) + a quickly queued Bonesmasher (goes off when soon-to-be-expired baddie lands)[/list]Bonus points if you can get something hung up on a wall so it twitches after the kill.

And, of course, any series of attacks that can keep a Death Shaman from summoning time-wasters.

Another vote for Crane Kick here, followed closely by Eagles Claw. I also like using Headsplitter when the mob only has a sliver of life left. The whole over-the-head-chop-you-in-half animation combined with the absurd amount of damage overkill.

Along with some of the others previously mentioned, I love using my Nin/Nin Stalker's Patron Pool (GW) Soul Storm, especially when it's the modest DoT that finishes them. There they are, caught in pale, otherworldly tentacles and spinning in the air, while their killer is floating just above the ground, arms folded...just staring at them. And given that that particular character has empty sockets where her eyes should be, it's even creepier!

I also enjoy finishing with Power Thrust on my /EM Blasters. The two-part, percussive sound effect as they're sent flying is brilliant. Ka-BAM!

A certain PB finishes opponents off with Incandescent Strike in PvP with an accompanying "Piledriver!!!" in broadcast.

Gotta be Headsplitter.

Nothing better than a critical hit finisher to the head

[edit] To be on topic.

My absolutely favourite finisher is Crippling Axe Kick on a knocked down and getting up enemy, usually after Crane Kick or Dragon's Tail. "And stay down!"
