While I enjoy the idea of keeping the OP bumped to further subject him to the scrutiny and resulting ridicule of the forum, I think a deliberate threadjack (especially when the hand of Mod08 is already so evident) is a clear case of risk far outpacing reward. Much like 1/3rd EXP values for defeating otherwise unchanged opponents, in that regard. Peculiar that the first line of the OP would reference the concept, and then the rest of it would ignore it...

I find the suggestion largely unimaginative and ultimately will simply mean that NOBODY uses the MA system. Even the hardest of the hard-core RPer still wants exp for what they do, part of role-playing is advancing the character.
I also find the thread itself fairly ridiculous, but then I'm hardly one to judge as I've contributed to my own share of idiotic forum noise, not to mention posting here myself.

Unfortunately, since your suggestion is in regards to farming within the MA, it belongs in the official farming in the MA thread, just like all the other farming in the MA threads. Thus, while you've explained why it's in this forum, it's actually disregarding the specific requests of the moderators of this forum, which is against Rule 13. To rectify this situation, all you need to do is contact the moderators and let them know you would like this thread deleted. Once deleted, you can repost your suggestion in the appropriate thread.

Having had Mod8 visit this thread twice, it would appear he disagrees with your conclusions.

No one's perfect. In this case, Mod8 has been very, very wrong to let this continue. At first, it was funny, but he really should have deleted it by this point.
If it weren't against the rules to call you a forum troll, I'd call you the biggest forum troll in forum trolling history.

Also, I wasn't asking about farming. I was asking whether the reduction in XP in MA would have an adverse effect on its use.

Since the MA buildings are 98-99% empty in every zone on every server I've visited except for Atlas on Freedom, I'd say its already going down. [I admit to not having visited Virtue, since I never visit there but merely sneer each time I scroll past it in the server-list.] This may be in part because of the ticket nerf; we may never know.
And you know, I really don't miss MA that much. I discover I LIKE salvage and recipes more than I thought I did, and buying exactly what I need instead of rolling and rolling and rolling and rolling some more. I think my poor /dark Scrapper went through at least 18,000 tickets before he got his -KB recipe.... mileage no doubt varies, but I'm really not missing that Broadcast spam-fest of unkillable bosses. Whoda thunk it....?

Oh no, you misunderstand. I said that suggestions and ideas should be posted in the suggestions and ideas forum. Falsified annoucements of upcoming changes to the game (a.k.a. posting incorrect information to get a rise out of someone, better known as 'trolling'), i.e. that thing you posted here, don't belong anywhere at all.
If you want to make a suggestion, make a suggestion, not an 'announcement' - and if you want to know what people think of your idea ask them what they think of the idea, not what they think of your 'announcement'.
But if you really want people to voice their feelings on your 'suggestion', I think this here sums it up pefectly:
