Also, you get what you give. A presumptive, bait and switch style post will definitely garner a negative response. If only you'd done the right thing and separated your opinion about farming and your 'idea', posted it in the form OF an idea instead of a "news report", and put it in the right forum.

I understand what you are saying but disagree that posting an idea in a provocative manner equals trolling.
As to "posting in the right forum," why isn't "What is your drink?" or "what happened to Malta? posts not in the question forums? The answer is obvious, traffic. If you want more eyes on your thread, you go to where the eyes are. The descritption of what each Forum covers is flexible enough to allow a poster to decide where they want to present their ideas. This coupled with the fact that one cannot double post, leaves the clear choice to write in the more populated forum.
"Provocative" and "trolling" ARE pretty much one in the same on forums. I believe you know that.
And, as I said, "no" to the ideas expressed as well. But more, "no" because this is not really a "suggestion" but more a rant.

Unfortunately, since your suggestion is in regards to farming within the MA, it belongs in the official farming in the MA thread, just like all the other farming in the MA threads. Thus, while you've explained why it's in this forum, it's actually disregarding the specific requests of the moderators of this forum, which is against Rule 13. To rectify this situation, all you need to do is contact the moderators and let them know you would like this thread deleted. Once deleted, you can repost your suggestion in the appropriate thread.

Because the forum topic describes Forum Games as "This is the place to play forum games like AASQ or Avatar Wars!" I didn't see how that fit. Additionally, I still think this forum is visited by more people than the Forum Games.

Straighten your arguments out. You don't get it both ways. You're either for enforcement of the rules or against it. Your post is a direct violation of the rules. If you're for enforcement of the rules, then you should be campaigning to have it deleted.

After reading the original post I find this idea to be unoriginal and unnecessary. Farming would continue as people wanted to stack tickets and rewards for use so only power leveling would see a reduction.
We already have several threads on this try doing some research next time.

If they did reduce XP in Mission Architect, what would be the ramifications? Would players scream and holler for a while, eventually get over it, mainly play the dev content and regulate MA as a nice minor feature to use from time to time? Or would it become as unused/unloved as Arena?

Setting aside the nonsense the OP cloaked his message in out of the misguided expectation that it would seem fresh and engaging rather than merely dishonest, I'm going to take a swing at the actual Suggestion (& Idea).

I'm no great fan of Farmers, but that sort of response would be completely disproportionate, and create far greater problems than it would solve. A nerf of that magnitude could very well be a game-killer, provoking the sort of rage that would make everything that's come before look completely inconsequential. For example, I'm a complete non-farmer. I've only ever joined farm teams when misled regarding their nature (much like people only entered this thread when misled regarding its contents), or else to find out what Meow arc they're doing to report it. I'd still quit the game over a massive AE EXP nerf of the sort you've proposed. I completed all the official content ages ago, and now I level most of my new characters mainly through player created stories. The Developers can't produce new content fast enough to keep me engaged, but the rest of the players have done a pretty good job at it so far. While I have a couple old 50's I play fairly frequently, far more of my time is spent with new alts in varying stages of development. If I'm not playing new characters, I'm not logging in often enough to justify my monthly fee. And if I'm limited to Official content that I've already replayed to exhaustion as a leveling path for those characters, I'm not going to bother.
Anyway, it's not like this is an especially novel Suggestion (& Idea), worthy of any particularly detailed examination before coming to a conclusion. People aren't commenting on the Suggestion (& Idea) itself, because it's just not interesting. Diminish EXP gains in a part of the game, and you'll discourage people from using that part of the game to gain EXP? Yeah, that's... really exciting thinking. The fact that we had to dig through a lot of deliberately misleading fluff to find your foolish Suggestion (& Idea) was just the right move to ensure that no one would be in a mood to listen.

Also, I wasn't asking about farming. I was asking whether the reduction in XP in MA would have an adverse effect on its use. If that is in another thread then fine, say so and I will go search for it.
