During US playtimes, which servers are active for groups and such?

The MOST active are Freedom [some people think "a little TOO active"], followed by Virtue, followed distantly by the others (infinity is usually listed as #3, but Freedom and Virtue are way ahead of everyone else.)

Every server has a community, though, and we try to be friendly and supportive and heroic to new people.

I started with Infinity and still like it, but I'm also on Victory, Pinnacle, and a little bit on Freedom and Virtue.

Check the supergroup recruitment area and see what types of sg's are on each server and which groups appeal to you. All the servers are active. Just pick one, go to it, and talk to all the people there to get a feel for it.
I avoid the 2 most active servers (i dont want the lag) and i have heard great things about Repeat Offenders and Knights of Paragon which are not on my home server.
But Champion server is my home, we have a great community, and drop by any time
I am Canadian and we have the same time zones as the U.S., Champion hosts many countries - Canada, New Zealand, Korea, Australia, Scotland, and the U.S. (both coasts) are very active here.

On the individual server forums there are stickied posts listing the major global channels for that server, as I recall. Good resource to join when you are looking for teams.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't this game used to have 8 servers? I have been in game a long time, but I remember new servers being added to the game around 3-4 years ago maybe?

I hope I am not thinking of a different game but I think it was CoX can someone confirm this for me?

Not new servers per se but hardware updates to the servers.

Also not all game servers use the same amount of hardware. When Issue 14 was released the explanation to why Freedom was the last server to come back online was there was physically more equipment the Issue had to be installed on.

You know after thinking about it more... I think I need sleep. LOL I think I was thinking about character slots used to be 8 or 10 .. then CoV came out and you got 4 extra I think. Thats where those numbers are coming from not servers.. bah Time to go home and go to sleep lol

None of the servers are very active... they just kind of sit there in the same spot all the time. There was some talk about putting them on an exercise program during the Monday and Friday maintenance periods, though.

Then again, if they were more active, then the players wouldn't be able to find them to log on!

Probably should mention that Freedom and Virtue are popular enough that access can be problematic when we have a high attendence event such as 2*XP
