If you could get rid of one power, Warshade or Peacebringer, what power would that be?

What would you replace it with?

I would get rid of nebulous form, and replace it with a WS side Dull Pain.

I'm just curious is all.

I'd get rid of Group Energy Flight and put in an Air Superiority clone in its place.

There's no Warshade power that I'd touch. And keep your hands off my Nebulous Form.

hmm.. get rid of the level 1 auto powers and replace them with the first shield and then replace the first shield's old spot with a +max HP auto power for Peacebringers (as there seems to be alot of human-form only PBs) and im not ure about Warshades, mabye a toggle that gives +resistance to the entire team or something i dunno.. im tired so my ideas are lame..

Group Energy Flight is pretty bad. Pulsar's kinda terrible too (much more useful than GEF but still bad due to its low mag and long animation). Funny thing is, with minor tweaks both those powers could be good - remove the tohit debuff, increase the fly speed, and decrease the end cost of GEF to make it better than the pool version (as it should be), and increase the mag on Pulsar to 3.

I actually like group energy flight. Granted, I didn't get to use it for much, but its kind of fun to give your teamates glowy eyes from time to time.

With the way IOs and a Khelds inherent works it is not hard to cap resistances in Human Form, plus I believe both Khelds have 2 self heals plus pets and a Nuke. What you are suggesting is so far beyond OP.

And WS's can easily perma Eclipse, and on any half decent team you should be able to get about atleast a good 8 foes in a mob capping you resistances for all and if you have any teammates that give you the res bonus that is less enemies you need.

Umm... I suggested lumping up all 3 shields into one Shield power and making room for 2 powers simply because I didn't want to suggest completely getting rid of those Shields altogether since I know that even though I don't take them at all, some people will be upset to see those shields gone.


I believe that a Kheldian Gold Standard should be based on SO's, and for anything above that... there's Platinum!

Not quite. While both do have a nuke (Dawn Strike/Quasar), the self-heals are dramatically different. Peacebringers get a Dull Pain clone (Essence Boost), a self-heal (Reform Essence) and another self-heal in Dwarf (White Dwarf Sublimation).

Warshades, by contrast, get a drain (Essence Drain), a corpse-powered +hp/+endurance power (Stygian Circle, aka 'pure awesome') and another drain in Dwarf (Black Dwarf Drain). I'm not sure I would even term the Warshade powers 'self-heals', at least not as comparable to the PB powers, as all three require the presence of enemies (living for drains, defeated for Circle).

Dwarf/Human PB gets 3 self-heals, one of which even increases the max-HP for a while.

However you cannot compare the "pets" a PB gets to the pets a WS gets. PB "pets" expire very quickly and can at best be considered a surgical mini-nuke, while the WS pets although requiring constant refresh whenever the power is available, are constant and consistently provide backup-fire that not only damages the enemy, but also slows it down.

I'd love it even more though if the Shields were united in one power, and the two free power-slots would be used to let Kheldians grab some APP's for example.

Or they could just, you know, add an APP. There are no new powers for Kheldians to unlock anyway, after 40.

Group Energy Flight is truly useless as is. It either needs a buff or to be gotten rid of entirely.

We should get access to the Power Pools we don't have period. VEATs get Leadership like powers and can get Leadership powers to boot. Having the equivalent of some of these Travel Powers such as Shadow Step and Shadow Recall should give us access at the appropriate level to the Team Teleport. PBs having Flight should give us access to Air Superiority and blank at what we already have. Plus my other gripe is that they've been changing the Pool versions of powers but not the Kheld equivalents, like Phase Shift/Nebulous Form or Hover+Flight/Combat Flight+Energy Flight, leaving us with AT powers inferior to the Pools. Above all please they should fix that.

If they were to give us some kind of APP, which I don't think is necessary but in consderation of VEATs getting PPP, thy should give us some minor buffs/debuffs to cover the jack of all trades hole Khelds do have, and that's not having any support (except for Glowing Hands[sic]). Something keepin in theme of these energy beings, like a lesser Recovery Aura for PBs and a Transferance for WS. But again I just don't see it as necessary. Khelds get a lot of powers, even without Forms. With Forms they don't have a lot of slots to be able to handle more powers. Lastly, while the argument that VEATs get PPPs can be made, for the most part the extra powers they get don't address any holes and are in fact superflous to the ones they already possess.

Ok, so if I was going to replace Group Energy Flight, keeping it in theme with a Kheld as an energy being, keeping it in power terms with something that adds a new personal dimension equivalent to Shadow Cloak yet limiting to overall performance as it and Group Energy Flight does. Hmm. Tough to think. Maybe a Smoke Grenade type power based on blinding like Flash Arrow does? A longer recharge Group Invisibility? Something I guess along those lines, a thing that not everyone will hop on because it's so cool but will still make a difference no matter how minimal. Maybe not exciting but still light years better then GEF. I had it once, and I quickly respeced out of it for lack of anything to do with it. Except maybe Hami Raids. And even then barely.
