With only moments to act, the U.S. Air Force asked for and received the help of Statesman, the leader of the Freedom Phalanx. Statesman used Freedom Phalanx technology to teleport into the USSR and find the crew before the Soviet heroes could. He ended up in a skirmish with a squad of Russian super-soldiers, wounding several of them before escaping through the air with the Air Force personnel and Mynor in tow. The general in command, enraged that the normally untouchable Statesman was escaping his grasp after embarrassing the Defenders of the Motherland, took drastic action. He launched a tactical nuclear missile at Statesman as he fled across the border.
The weapon detonated on target, which was unfortunately somewhere over Finland. Mynor and the rest of the crew died instantly and Statesman himself scarcely survived.
I doubt an anti-tank missile would do much to him.

Can Synapse break the sound barrier?
Issue 16 has Synapse appears to bilocate which would require him to travel at near light speeds, I believe.

So to at answer your question, he has bench press contests with Blue Steel. Positron, not sure. as well as various others.

Thanks for the replies. I've never really kept up with the comics.

It's good to know some of the information. The character I play tends to be stronger than most of the other characters I run into. Her limits are about 24 tons for super strength (which is about as much as a loaded semi truck, or about 1.5 empty ones), and a bit under 500 MPH for speed, which is well below the sound barrier. It's good to know she's nowhere near the signature heroes. I would feel awfully twinkish to have been playing a character who's supposedly stronger than the signature heroes.

Is there any background for the banner portion of the Halloween event? Or the Zombie Apocalypse, for that matter? The old Paragon Times article indicates that the Malleus Mundi incident started the original "two weeks of night" thing, but why are banners that represent negative aspects of humanity showing up all of a sudden?

Yeah, always wondered that myself. Strange how Recluse is notably absent, yet that thinger made it in.

An early version Regent Korhol, maybe?

My suspicion is that there was a communication failure somewhere between the concept design and the artist and they just rolled with it. Still, be interesting to get an official answer. Would love it if I was wrong and that was a rare glimpse of the oh so mysterious "Weaver-1"

I reckon that picture is either Weaver One (The creator of the Arachnos Taratulas) or The Weaver (The founder of Arachnos). I can't find the poster anywhere but I seem to remember there were at least some of Recluse's Lieutenants there. So most likely this is Weaver One, seeing as The Weaver was assasinated by the Red Widow on Recluse's order before he (Recluse) came to lead Arachnos.

I'd love to see a Return of the Weaver arc make it's way into the game.
Maybe in Praetoria since States is evil then maybe Recluse is good and never killed the Weaver?

Ok now I've got an idea in my head and I can't get it out.

(Warning Contain Spoilers)
In Guassian's Arc (The 4th Vanguard Arc) the rogue Swords plan to detonate a modified Nuclear Missile underneath the Rikti Portal to their Homeworld. Guassian Mentions that this could cause the two parallel universes to collide (or collapse) by destroying the barrier between them.

I've been thinking about how GR will work and it's been implied that it will heavily involve Praetoria, I assume that will involve linking Praetoria to Primal Earth in some way, shape or form.
So my question is, will the barrier between Praetoria and Primal Earth be destroyed - allowing Metas to switch between them at will or even involuntarily?

Another question which follows this one is related to Maria Jenkins's Arc in which Statesman is kidnapped by the Praetorians.

He is held prisoner and they attempt to torture him using Praetorian technology but he seems oddly impervious to anything from Praetoria. They then manage to secure some Primal Earth Scanners and modify them to be used against Statesman to great effect
At the time Maria tells you:
"You remember how the Praetorians weren't able to use their own tech to scan States? Well, our best theory on that is that Statesman is physically so similar to Tyrant that his presence in the Praetorian dimension is never quite complete. It's as if there just isn't room for him there. The upshot is that Statesman is impervious to Praetorian technology. And it's impervious to him! He can't break out of those bonds, not on his own."

So in the scenario where Primal Earth and Praetoria are linked how would Statesman and Tyrant interact, would one of them dominate their powers whilst the other is drained of them? Would this apply to everyday heroes and villains?

At the moment I'm prepared to disregard the fact that Reichsman (As another Marcus Cole) isn't impervious to Primal Earth's technology because his device which drains the powers from alternate Marcus Cole's likely drains Statesman's powers and thus Reichsman is able to take Statesman's super-powered place in Primal Earth. Whilst Reichsman was locked up in the Freedom Phalanx's base they no doubt had power sapping devices built into his prison preventing him from escaping and/or taking Statesman's place in Primal Earth.
Alternatively Reichsman's place in Primal Earth could never have been complete, allowing the Freedom Phalanx to imprison him in the same way that Statesman was imprisoned in Praetoria.

I doubt that Manticore will be able to answer but I hope I can get some other people's opinions on my theories.

Alright I got a question about Nictus Fragments. The Question is would a Nictus Fragment regenerate into a full Nictus over time?

Second is how much influence does a Nictus Fragment have over the human that gets implanted?

=O that would be wierd as!!! and so cool, but i think it would be EVEN BETTER if that was the weaver, and recluse looked sort of wierdly mutilated without a suit, kinda like no skin mutilated, as if he was connected to his suit =P

Also where did the Weaver come from, and if that is the weaver, why does it look like that??? alien? mutant? giant sprider creature from earth?

This calls for some serious background details.

Question: What's up with Valkyrie’s spear? It seems odd to have an advanced technological spear just sitting around. Are there more artifacts like this around? Where did they come from?
Answer: The spear that started Valerie Kellum’s career as a hero is an artifact from the violent alternate world of War Earth, which also happens to be the homeworld of the Praetorian known as Battle Maiden. It’s very possible that there are more such weapons hidden on Primal Earth waiting to be uncovered.
Speaking of Valkyrie, riddle me this, Manticore:

Primal Earth Valerie Kellum became Valkyrie when she received the Spear which came from War World dimension.

Battle Maiden is supposed to be Valkyrie's Praetorian counterpart, but Battle Maiden isn't from Praetoria, she's from War World.

So, my question is... wha?

Does this mean there is also a Valerie Kellum actually from Praetoria? And how did all this communication and transportation happen between War World and Praetoria if Portal Tech is brand new on Praetoria?

Next question is similar to the first about but Black Swan: Her in-game description says:
Born with a connection to Shadow Earth in the Netherworld, Black Swan can channel energy from that dimension into attacks and defenses. She is served by minions that some say she draws from Shadow Earth and others say are created by stealing pieces from the shadows of her victims.
However, in Maria Jenkins' arc, A Hero's Hero, she is constantly being referred to as coming from a Nether World...
The Praetorian Black Swan gains her powers from her dimension of origin, some sort of Shadow World. No one at Portal Corporation has yet been able to determine which dimension Black Swan comes from, but we know that that's where she finds her shadow soldiers. If you could shut down Black Swan's portal to Shadow World, you could prevent her army from growing any larger. Maybe you could even cut off her own power supply!
So, is she from a Nether Dimension and if yes, how did she become a Praetorian and is there another Lena Eliot running around Praetoria who is not the Black Swan or Swan?

And same follow up question about Black Swan using portal tech to contact Nether Worlds: That implies the Praetorians developed Portal technology as early as Earth Prime rather than just recently, so, which is it?

Why should this imply that Praetoria has portal tech? We can go to Praetoria and it doesnt require them to have portal tech.

OK, gonna just ask it outright.

1. Is Dominatrix Emperor Cole's granddaughter?

2. Does Dominatrix's "serving [Tyrant] loyally, in all capacities" include sex?

Two questions.

First, both "Praetorian" Infernal and Primal Earth's Infernal are described as coming from an alternate dimension in which demon-binding is common practice. Are they both from the same dimension, or are they different versions of the same person in the same way that Tyrant and Statesman are both versions of Marcus Cole? I assume that neither is from Praetorian or Primal Earth, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Second, and more interestingly, all the buzz about Praetoria and its timeline got me to thinking about the lifespan of Incarnates. Nearly all the Incarnates we know of (Statesman, Tyrant, Lord Recluse, and possibly Lady Grey) seem to be unaging. Does this go for Imperious, too? And if Imperious is/was unaging, is he still around in the contemporary world of Paragon City and the Rogue Isles, or did he die or vanish in the distant past? Or does no one know?

I would like to know more about the individual who became the Clockwork King. Does he have an official name and background? Why is he so fixated on Penelope Yin? Is it a psychic bond? If Clockwork are created and controlled by him how could they have played a part in his escape from Blue Steel once he was 'dead'? If they didn't, then who did?

I'll take any morsel really.

Well Killbot there is an AE Arc that has a good back story that Babs himself say was close (He not saying what was right or wrong) to what the Bible saids. It's one of the Dev's choices I believe it's called Once and Future King. But not sure....

As for the Clockwork king as he is now it's possible he slipped into a coma causing Blue Steel to believe he died. Then recovered to control his clockworks enough to build his new clockwork body.

He's the link to the Wiki page about jar brains.

Hmm I must confess I'm not sure it was Babs that said that or one of the other Devs but I did play the arc and had a blast!

I just don't want to have Back alley brawler looking down at me telling me he DIDN'T say it lol. But I did remember reading about the arc posted by a Red name.
