Sad thing is I think the OP made the comment and stealth edit deliberately. I'm guessing he wanted someone to petition him, and then did the stealth edit hoping it would look like he was being picked on. He just didn't count on being thwarted by getting quoted.

If your going to go thru your thread and edit your posts to make it seem like your the victim of bullying, you need to remember that the edits you make will not be reflected in what the other posters originally quoted you as saying. The things you said are still there for everyone to see.
Also the forum identifies that you made an edit on your post so everyone knows you have changed what you first said to something else.

B_I obviously thinks the Cartel is a big deal. All one has to do to confirm that little fact is read her posts and watch how often she uses the term to demonize anyone that disagrees with her.

For what it's worth, we do have cliques here on the forums. I have actually been told before something like, "They've been here longer than you" (even though I've been here for years) about something not related to the history of the game. 
Also for what it's worth, they're not neatly divided by post count. Some of the coolest and most helpful people here have really high post counts. (I'm looking at you, Aett and Memphis_Bill.)
My post count is getting up there, and I vehemently disagree with many long-time posters here about some very fundamental things. If I ever get to the point where my title would be "Forum Cartel," I'll probably ask for it to be changed to something like "Wiki Guy," because I have to admit that I really don't like the way that title reinforces the stereotype that there's a real "cartel" here.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
(If you love this game as much as I do, please read that post.)

Well, even though there are many, many issues we may disagree on, I must admit when I absolutely do agree with you.
This is a very true statement. It's actually a fact of life wherever you go. Doesn't matter where you live, where you hang out, what forums you're in, what games you play, ect....
People have a natural tendency to form cliques. There is some sort of psychological urge to feed the "I want to feel important/exclusive/respected" beast....
Though people don't want to admit it, especially when they feel like they've "matured" or "outgrown" that, it's JUST like high school. People do it no matter if they're 16 or 66.

Your mistake here is in thinking that because you have "Forum Cartel" under your name that I was lumping you into the same class of people whom I was talking about earlier; I already posted saying that the actual forum cartel is not comprised of every last person sporting that title; the people I am talking about tend to post as a group, think with one mind and tend to post mostly flames and insults. Plus not all of them sport that title to begin with.
Its a mindset, not everyone wearing that title due to post count.
Anyone who would allow a six-year-old child to post in these forums really OUGHT to know better; this is not a place for children.
It is true that Ares is making mistakes here. That still does not excuse the behavior of most of the people provoking him. Two wrongs do not make a right, sorry.
Perhaps the relevant thing to take home here is that it is a mistake to be too open with one's Global.
And I personally have no desire to have "Forum Cartel" floating under my name, I can tell you. If and when my post count ever reflects that, I will be asking the mods to remove it; I have no desire to be even remotely connected with the negative connotations that come to mind any time its brought up.
