It's in your graphics settings.
I turned off shadows and that made a HUGE difference in system performance. -

Mapserver disconnects and now I can't get back on... I'm able to get to another server though (Virtue).
Anyone else having server connections issues with Protector? -
Terrible idea. They're called "veteran" rewards for a reason.
Waiting your turn, like everyone else did, for veteran costume rewards isn't going to hurt anyone or ruin the game for them.

Anyone else having issues making purchases from the NCSoft store today? I was trying to purchase the Super Booster IV (ninja) pack and received an error when trying to pay for it via PayPal.
To add insult to injury, I waited over an hour to speak with a live "person" on their call-in support line only to get a recorded message stating they're having technical issues and to try again later! WTF??? -
I hate PvP... but will, on rare occassions, do it if I'm with a team of friends and the team makeup is such that we "fill gaps" and compliment each other.
Personally, I'd rather put on the 16 oz gloves and spar vs. sitting at a keyboard and play pwn or be pwnd. -
City of Fatties.
So, I guess they'll be skipping the fitness pool? -
Quote:Generally true. Buffs and debuffs are waaaay better at higher levels. Love those Rad defenders. This misconception comes from all the stock MMORPGs where you need a tank, a healer, and DPS to have any chance of doing anything in a team.
Buffs are by far better than heals in CoX anyway.
For the lower levels the empaths do come in quite handy though. -

They're pretty defensive over there - especially when you bring up CoH. It amuses me and I think it's cute.
CO an okay game and has a lot of potential but right now it just has so many flaws that make playing it only tolerable in short bursts. Right now CoH is simply better. It has more depth, is more robust, and we can actually team over here. Teaming is non-existant in CO and I think that's killing that game. I mean, I like to solo too but when I do actually want to team I'd like to think it's actually possible.
I'm very very happy with the improvements to CoH that the devs have made. We spoke up and they listened to us. I don't get the sense that that's the case on CO.
Great job, Devs, and thank you. -

Quote:Um... I'm on Virtue and Freedom because I don't enjoy soloing like I used to and it's just easier to team on those servers.So... you're not going there because there's lots of other people there... you're going there because there's lots of other people like you there?
Got it!
If Protector wasn't a ghost town I'd still be primarily playing there. -
Quote:I think powersets that are at least six months old would be okay.Yeah, once or twice a year you can jump to level 50 ; ) as long as it not a powerset that is 6 months old ; ) That could work out
We could also say only jump 5 levels per week for one guy. : ) that is only level 20 hehehe.
I'd still limit it to only one or two characters a year for vets that have at least say... 48 months? Also make it so that the chracters have to be at least level 20.
I think that would be a good compromise. -
I like the idea but I'd make it a very senior vet reward and only allow one or two characters a year.
Additionally, it can not be used on new powersets. -
I can see this as a very senior vet reward with a limit of one or two characters a year.
Otherwise, it's just ripe for abuse.
